a poem dedicated to anyone who feels lonely and hidden

A poem without a name, but that is okay.

a poetic story i wrote about a lion trapped in a cage

A story of who she became.

she was yesterday, gone now, only a whisper in the wind.

And I pray, with every part of my soul, that this message could be etched deeply into your tiny heart.

Don't cry, my little love, your first pain awaits you.

I am so sorry for not realizing that your feelings were as strong as mine, and that you were just as terrified. You were hurt too.

“Your pain made you strong,” she didn't need to be strong. She was a child.

Saying that I hate who I am is saying that I hate who you made me to be.

I closed my eyes. And remembered. All the emotions. All the feelings. All the people.

Maybe I am still in kindergarten. It’s just nap time. I will wake up soon and everything will be okay.
