Sure, it’s cool to use text messaging. But, is it a good idea to use it while driving?
Text messaging takes your eyes off the road and endangers yourself and others.
Business and chatting with your friends is not as important as your life.
We all utilize the phone while driving sometimes. But, shouldn't we utilize it less often?
To lessen the chances of jeopardizing yourself, I think we should use the phone less while driving.

If you seriously can't figure out why texting while driving is dangerous, you have no business being in control of a motor vehicle.
Driving is something that requires total and constant awareness of everything that is going on in front, behind and beside you on the road. Anything at all that distracts you is potentially dangerous and an activity such as texting that requires you to look away from what you should be looking at, i.e. the road ahead, guarantees that you will at some point fail to spot something requiring corrective action on your part.
Chattering on a phone is bad enough, but at least you stand a chance of seeing something and reacting accordingly. Texting while driving, meaning not looking where you're going, makes you a potentially fatal accident waiting to happen
Because you are not looking where you’re going and your mind is not concentrated on driving.
When thing happen in front of you you normally have little time to react. A child steps out, or a truck blows a tyre. These happen and require your instant attention. The seconds you are looking at your phone can make the difference between a fatality and a near miss.
