"GAVIN!!" Jill cried, scurrying over to her hubby's side. "Oh, no, no, NO!!"
"Jill, I'll be alright, just..." Gavin sputtered out from underneath the coffin. "...Try and get this thing off of me..."
Jill tried to push the coffin off of Gavin using her back. Gavin tried as well, but to no avail. All six of his legs were pinned under his body, so he had no way to push himself up. He hissed at the pain.
"Gavy, I'll go get Ryan okay? Please, hang in there. Please" Jill said, tear streaming down her face, soaking he hairs on her body.
"Okay, go... I left.. an opening in the web wall I made.. Gah, why did I even do that?"
"Don't worry about it Gavy!!" Jill yelled. "Just stay alive."
"I will, Jillybean. No, silly ornament can easily kill a Spidar. Definitely not this Spidar. Be careful. I can't help but feel that something else is out there waiting for you.." Gavin closed his eyes and went limp.
"Gavy?" Jill whimpered. She snuggled close to him and bit him with her tiny teeth, her way of expressing love in the deepest way possible. She had to force herself to pull away from him and find help. She crawled through the opening and scurried up the wall of the basement and emerged from the hole in the main hall. She spotted me, or rather, Zekrom leaning on the wall near the opening Alex was tossed through, staring at Cristina intently as she walked over to Alex's body. Jill completely froze. She opened her mouth but no words came out. She couldn't move at all. Then, an unseen entity pulled her back down the hole.
Cristina knelt down beside Alex as his eyes began to slowly open.
"I'm surprised you lived through that." She smirked. Her eyes flaring red and ringed with hate. "Sadly, though, your time is over."
"Ah, Cristina..." Alex coughed. "I guess you're right. But, wouldn't you like to know of the source of this confusion first?"
"Hmm..." She thought for a moment. "Eh, why not? It'll give me something to explain to Ryan when he regains control of his own body, so spill. And make it quick I'm getting bored you bastard."
Alex blushed.
"Ugh, I'm starting to feel like my mother's curse was not to blame for my 'inappropriate feelings' for you. I'm guessing after Earth's creation, she traveled to the planet and started reading a lot. She apparently loved that book titled Lolita. Damn, that woman was just looking for a reason for me to murder her." Alex paused when the words his mother chanted to him while he slept next to Cristina played like a broken record in his head..
Kļūsti slims cilvēks, es centos precēties: "Become the sick man I tried to marry."
"Nah, it can't be." He concluded. "My father wasn't like that, and neither was I before that night..."
"Your sob story is very interesting. I guessing your mother's curse caused you to uncontrollably made you molest her..." Alex didn't answer. His tortured look answered for him. Cristina sighed, balled up her hands, and slugged Alex in the chest. "EVEN AFTER YOU DID SOMETHING LIKE THAT TO HER, YOU STILL USED HER AS A PAWN!?"
Anger flared in Alex's body. He kicked Cristina with enough force to send her flying into the side of the mansion, not enough to send her through it though. She bounced off the wall, gasping for air. Alex stood up but quickly fell to one knee. His no longer apparent injuries kept him at bay.
"IT WAS NOT MY FAULT!!! THAT BITCH I'M FORCED TO CALL MOTHER DID THIS TO ME!!" He screamed. "If... If I had the choice, my original intentions would have never been thrown out of whack. I didn't give a damn about you or your good looks. I just wanted revenge on Ryan. That may be an idiotic reason to fight anyone, but I planned it anyway! After I brought Ryan here, the curse took over for one last time, and... Caused all of this to happen. It wasn't supposed to be this way. IT WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE THIS WAY!!!"
(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)
"Dammit!" I yelled. "I got sucked in..."
"Now you know how we feel." Anabell said behind me. "I hope you can forgive our actions."
I spun around to face her. I looked around. Everything was white.
"As much as I hate to admit it, yes, I do. All beings, Pokemon, and apparently, even humans have to give into a selfish desire every once in a while."
"You're kidding, right?" She said. "We didn't attack that helpless little girl for no reason. We were afraid that she'd harm us if we returned to our bodies while she lived. That wasn't selfish!"
"Your bodies? What do you mean?"
"Alex never told you..."
"What, told me what?" I asked.
"The three of us, Me, Bethany, and Cristina were drowned by our mother a few years ago. In the light of it all, she placed a curse upon Alex. Making him a sick, confused, idiotic, and worst of all, perverted man. She made him into the image of what she believed was the kind of man for her. The kind of man that our father used to be before they had their first child, Alex. The curse took over him for the last time today. He's back to his old self again." Anabell scoffed. "I never thought I'd missed that slightly Scottish accent of his. I never knew what to call it until those begins called humans appeared out of nowhere and began speaking in full sentences. I could only speak to the ones who died. You know, seeing as I'm just a ghost now. Occasionally their spirits would find a way to this place here. They call it limbo or something. I'm amazed at how beings from a planet galaxies away could find their way here, only in death..."
I listened intently to her ramble. She nearly forgot I was there.
"Sometimes I wonder that myself, but I decided that its best to let my creations thrive. I did waste a lot of energy creating that planet."
"You created the planet Earth?"
"Yeah, and the world we live in too." I answered. "I have all of this power bottled up inside of me. Don't know where it came from. I hatched with it, that's all I know. Someone bet me that I couldn't create worlds and well, I proved them wrong."
"Interesting, could you tell me more about the process?"
"Maybe some other time... Anyway, that's besides the point here. How do we get out of here, uh.."
"Anabell. Anabell Shader. And to answer you question, I don't really know. Every time I get out, all I can remember is the voice of my father. He always says something about... The shade, o-or a hot day. And then he says something about protecting the little one, but his voice is always fuzzy and unclear."
"A puzzle, huh? I think he's trying to speak to you without letting your mother hear it, wherever she is."
Anabell walked to my side.
"You know, you're a very attractive guy. We should go out together sometime." She giggled.
What's with this girl? She's acting so random. Must be a side affect of being separated from her mind for so long.
"Yeah, whatever..." I answered. "What happened to the two other girls that were with with you? I saw them before I blacked out.
"Bethany and Cristina... What do you want with them?"
"Well, your father always says something about protecting the little one, so maybe he's talking about the smallest girl." I answered. "I know she's probably afraid of me after that 'episode' but could I talk to her?"
"Sorry, guy. No can do." She said with a whip of her ponytail as she spun around. I do trust you, I really do... But Bethany will not allow it. You won't be able to convince her, and neither can I. Even if Cristina ask to speak to you, Bethany still won't allow it. I'm sorry."
"Great... I'm stuck in this place with no way out, and the only person who might know a secret to get out is not able to tell me what she knows."
"What makes you think that she knows a way out?"
"Again, your father always mentions her when he takes you out of here, so she has to have some connections. It's just a theory, but..."
"I won't get very far but, for you, I'll try my best... BETH GET OVER HERE NOW!!!" She yelled.
A second later, she appeared next to her side out of thin air, holding an extremely sharp dagger. Before anyone could say a word, she lunged at me and thrust it at my chest. The blade snapped on contact, causing her to shiver and shrink back.
"Nice try, but you'll need more than Black Rose knife to cut me." I chuckled, picking up the severed blade. I extended my index nail and sliced the knife in two with it, then retracted it. "Listen, not only was the blade flimsy, made from a weak materialization, but like I said, it couldn't pierce my skin even if it wasn't this weak."
"You're such a freak you- you..." Beth stammered.
"You're only mad at me because I attacked you. You can't blame me, right?"
"Bu-" She sighed. "No I guess I can't."
"Hey, guys, maybe we should focus here?"
"Oh, you're one to talk Ana." Beth and I said in unison.
"Shut up.." Anabell said under her breath. "This... Guy here was wondering if he could talk to Cristina."
"My name's Ryan.."
"I DON'T GIVE A DAMN WHAT YOUR NAME IS!! YOU CAN'T SEE HER!!!" Bethany screamed.
"Mind telling me why not? You trust a man like Alex, but not me? Now that's a little odd."
"He's got a point there." Anabell interrupted. "C'mon, Beth. Have a little faith."
"Faith is a lie." Bethany pouted. "Trust me, I know. I saw what happened that night. What mother did to Alex, what Alex did to Cristina..."
This isn't going anywhere. Zekrom may have control over my body, but he's not as nearly as powerful as me alone. He might not be able to aid Cristina if Alex is somehow alive...
"Okay, listen, Bethany. While we're stuck in here, there's no telling what might happen to my sister. And even after you return to your bodies, there's no telling what Alex will do next. It's true, curses are a powerful way to alter someone's mind, but this could all be a ruse, planned by Alex. He's " I tried reasoning with her.
"You really are insane, aren't you?" she asked with her arms crossed.
"To a certain extent in most people's book."
"You really think that Alex planned this. This all started five years ago. Alex isn't that brilliant. I saw what happened to him. It was no lie."
I'm done playing games with this girl.
"Listen, we are not going to end all of this if you won't let me talk to her. Talk, that's all I want to do. I really don't give a damn if you trust me or not." I said, anger flaring in my voice. "How about this. Let me talk to her, and if she knows a way to get out of here, you girls can return to your bodies, my sister and I can finish Alex off, and we can all move on with our lives!"
"FINE!" Beth screamed. "Just shut your damn mouth, please..." She turned around to face Anabell. "Are you okay with this?"
"Just call her." She answered.
Bethany sighed.
"Cristina come here, please..."
In a second she was by her side. Cowering behind her.
"I heard everything. In my dreams, Father always says, 'Think, Shade...'" Cristina whimpered... "'Just think Shade... Shade. Like being under a big tree on a hot day...'"
"That's it?" Anabell asked in disbelief. "No way. Father is way more sophisticated than that."
"That's what I remember. We have to try though... We have to."
"Later." Anabell said. "I have to say Ryan, that Hyper Beam had some serious power in it. You really pack a punch. Anyway, we're going to stay here and recharge for a while, I guess. If not then we'll pass out as soon as we return to our bodies. At least, that's what I think. No point in taking chances though."
"Whatever you say." I answered. I closed my eyes and concentrated, focusing only on Shade. Shade. Shade like being under a big tree on a hot day. Shade...
Suddenly, I felt displaced, like I was traveling to an even deeper dimension. Then suddenly, I was in front of the mansion again. I was dazed for a moment, then a loud crashing sound snapped me back into the reality that was Alex's dark forest. I was still an entity without a shell.
Time to find Zekrom.
I floated to the back of the mansion next to Zekrom. He was just standing there inside of my body staring at Alex and Cristina fighting.
"Would, it kill you to stop Alex from killing her?" I said.
"She can finish this, and she will. See how she's holding him by his throat while he dangles off the cliff? Ryan, we can't always interfere, especially when it's not needed." He replied. "Besides, I enjoy this form, ha ha."
"And I thought I was the one with the twisted sense of humor.."
"You are, Ryan. I have an inconvenient sense of humor. Well, call if you need anything. Good luck."
Suddenly my body was once again a shell. I quickly connected myself to it again. Anabell appeared by my side.
"Wow, you look even handsomer in a body of your own!" She laughs. "My cooldown was over so I came to check in on things with Alex. He dead yet?"
"See for yourself." I replied.
The two of us walked over to Cristina. She was enjoying choking Alex while he dangled over the edge, the both of us knew that wouldn't kill him, so we were confused. Knelt down beside her.
"Hey, it's time to go now." I said calmly. "I'll be waiting in the main hall."
"No, I want you to see this." She mumbles.
"I'm free of my mother's curse, so do what you will..." Alex coughs.
Cristina's hand finally get's tired and she drops Alex into the lake below.
"Ryan, back off of the cliff." She said. I do and she places her palms on the ground then walks to my side. "We're done here." She clings to me and falls unconscious. I catch her in my arms and then, the cliffs collapses into the water, pinning Alex down for good.
She wanted him to suffer. Drowned in the lake like his sisters...
I carried Cristina to the main hall and set her down by the door after I kicked the glass out. Her forehead was burning, probably from exerting too much energy.
"DAMN, Ryan. Your sister is badass. Too bad she knocked herself out." Anabell exclaims. "Hey, what happened to those two Galvantula that were with you? Did they leave I wanted to say hi."
Just then, Gavin and JIll climb up the hole and join us, only to collapse soon after. Bethany appeared behind them.
"Bethany, what did you do?" I exclaimed.
"Since you're so strong, I needed something else to take my rage out on." She laughs. "HA HA, don't worry they'll be fine. They're you Pokemon aren't they?"
Wait, Gavin and Jill's Krystal balls!
I pull them out of my pockets, throw one at Jill, and returned Gavin. I went to pick up Jill's after she was captured.
"I forgot we agreed on that.." I said to myself.
"Oookay, so now what do we do?" Bethany ask?
"Why not return to you bodies, girls? Nothing's stopping you." I answer.
"Actually something is..."
Anabell points to the sky. The darkness surrounding the forest disappeared. I sun began to shine in this area again. Cristina and I were there all night.
"The barrie is gone now that Alex was defeated. Now we should be able to." Bethany says. Cristina appears behind her.
"Ryan!" She yells. "Tell your sister I said thank you. We're free because of her."
"I'll make sure to tell her that." I smile. "What will you three do now ?"
"Well, first return to our bodies, get this place cleaned up and live happily ever after I guess. Hahaha!" Anbell laughs. "We'll send you a letter or something once that's all over k? And don't you go forgetting about us!"
"I won't, I promise."
The three disappeared into thin air. I looked at their bodies still sitting on the hot sand.Anabell wakes up first. She turns around and smiles at me. I smile back, put the the Krystal balls back in my pockets, scoop up Cristina off the floor and head into the nearest clearing in the forest. Zekrom was there waiting for me.
"How did you know? I didn't call you." I asked.
"I know when I am needed, and when I am not." He said.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever." I gave Cristina to him and he held her ever so gently in his hands. I hopped on his back and our minds link up instantly. We took off, looking back only to see the mansion one more time.

I don't have a lot to say about this chapter. I felt like it was all pretty much wrapped up! I liked to figure out that Bethany was the ghost who was bothering the Spidars. I liked figuring out where Ryan went while Zekrom was in his body. I liked understanding all the story about the curse and kind of understanding what happened with Alex.
But there's one thing that is still bugging me. You mentioned the dark rock that Alex was holding when he went to the sea to see his mother, and I thought this was "the smallest thing" that the father was talking about in the prophecy. But then I wasn't sure, because maybe the dark stone was the dark stone that was part of the necklace Alex was holding? So I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be expecting something else to happen because they didn't actually destroy all three things they needed to destroy OR if I just got confused and everything's all wrapped up. Now, while the reader feeling uncomfortable like this can sometimes be good, it is also sometimes good to avoid somethin' like that, yeah? I am wondering if you could just describe the necklace in a different way -- make it have a red stone or a blue stone (like the water) instead? That might work.
I'm off to the next part~
Hey!
I'm new at this so bare with me. I'm not into pokemon stuff yet the story seems pretty interesting. I've not read the previous chapters so it is kind of difficult for me to review this. Found few spelling errors but I'm sure you can work on it. Apart from it, the storyline was entertaining. All the best!
Very nice! I don't completely understand what's going on yet, mainly just because I haven't gotten to read the other chapters of this series yet, but it seems pretty good so far!
There are some typos and misspellings you might want to fix, but they shouldn't be too hard.
Another thing to keep in mind is that there should only be one punctuation mark at the end of each sentence. I know that '!!' or '?!' (or '!?') may -seem- to add extra emphasis, but they don't look right, and they actually take -away- from the emphasis on a sentence, especially if you use them often. All-caps are also something you want to avoid at all cost in a story, for the same reasons as the punctuation. Instead, use italics for sentences or words you want to emphasize, or when you want to show that your characters are shouting.
Even then, be sparing with your emphasis in its various forms. Use it too much, and it loses its impact; use it carefully, and it's a powerful, powerful tool.
This looks like a really interesting, fun story! Now, I'm off to actually read it from the beginning while I wait for the next part. XD
The Shade incident is finally over! Mwuhuhuhu!
