In Rubbish Poetry

limbs quake and fingers hurt
from the non-stop tap-tap-tap
at the keyboard.

i watched the Earth do its pretty spin:
light, dark, light. and like some (videogame) hero,
i endured fatigue, and hunger, and pain, and
soon it shall all be over; i shall have vanquished
this foe and won the war.

it is almost done, finished; only two hours
remain and then, finally, i can sleep.

I wanna laugh. Was this poem supposed to be humorous?

limbs quake and fingers hurt
from the non-stop tap-tap-tap
at the keyboard.

I liked that stanza. Its clever how you said how you felt without just tell us in a sentence. Like, "My fingers hurt. Ow, they hurt. Maybe it's cuz I spend to much time on the computer. HMMMM."

i watched the Earth do its pretty spin:
light, dark, light. and like some (videogame) hero,
i endured fatigue, and hunger, and pain, and
soon it shall all be over; i shall have vanquished
this foe and won the war.

When you said "like some (videogame hero) hero" that sort of broke me out of the poem.
This is so dramatic! All your doing is playing a game and it's like your gunna die!
Maybe you are. Depends what game your playing :)
All in all, nice poem. I think you can do better with it though.

i loved it!! the title is what got me here.... but, as those before me, i'm confused at what's happening. how i interpreted it was just a kid on the computer. the "tap-tap" from talking online, the videogame and things...but the video game in parentheses was odd. maybe you should change that?

it was confusing and really odd, but good. very good.. (and i get modern poetry more now)

loved the title too "w00t" fits perfectly (that's what originally gave me the chat room idea).

keep writing!!!!!!!!!

The title alone got me to read it. "w00t" is a really good title simply because chatspeak is rarely used in good writing. Well, somewhat good writing. I felt that the lowercase "i's" were a bit odd and distracting from the piece. The concept of the story was odd but you did present it in an interesting way.

I'm assuming this is about a kid that's waiting for something to load or such.

I liked it. It was short and abstract, but it had great imagery and leaves a lot to be interpreted. It makes the reader have to imagine things. Not many poems that I have read do that. I'm not sure I can handle it. *twitches*

Nah, just kidding. It was nice. I'm not a poetry critic, but, like I said, I really liked it.

Nice, nice. I'm not too sure that I know what exactly this is about, :? but it still seemed interesting.

Now that I've looked at it again...Was the character waiting on slow internet to load?
xD

Hmm...I can't tell whether the "I" in this poem is in a video game or in some kind mental war with his/herself. I felt that, at first, it was a game, and then it completely changed to some kind of fight. Maybe you should try making it longer so that we can better understand the point of it? It seems that you are simply lacking information, thus leaving us in the dark.
Pretty good imagery though, in my opinion.
