Language as you like

In Poetry

This is an experimental piece which I used to play around with language.

Language as you like.

Be it in the proverbial sentence as I do demonstrate

or in the slow callusing of the slow scrape of the slow,

trudging hand over paper--line

by

line

by

lonely lonely line--

bye-- bye-- bye--

-

Dignants’ confabulation with the legal writ may render profit

but of what avail when they cannot

revel.

-

Rebel:

These days, we do not trrrrrill our words

or fascinate on the decomposition of lane-goo-age.

Oneway-coyish-maturation.

-

Be Flame

Be Boy

Be Ant

-

I am

die

gene

err

Hi there! Nerd Bird here for a review!

Ill say straight off the bat I'm not a huge fan of poetry, so don't take anything I say in offence :)

I like the artistry of this and completely agree with what you're saying, most poets/artists focus more so on specifics these days, complex words and idioms being over done, I think the last time I read something that actually decomposed the language for effect was when I only just started reading in infant school!

I miss pieces like that, so this was nostalgic for me :)

This is a wonderful poem, with a playful genius to it! I love all of it so much. I'm definitely saving this and keeping it with me every day. Thank you for the lovely poem.
There are only two nit picks that I have for this piece. First, in the first stanza, you could easily use another word instead of lonely repeated. I think that it would be much more effective to used a sophisticated synonym for lonely after. My second nitpick is this: this is just a prissy artistic opinion, but I think that you should get rid of the dashes in between stanzas. They interrupt the stream of thought.
I loved this poem very much! Thank you and keep writing~

The only reason the dashes are there is because when I was publishing it at first it would not let me post the blank spaces between lines. So I posted dashes in order to make it so it wasn't one long stanza.

Hey there! This was a very smart piece, and a smart poem can only be written with a smart mind. I can see that you have been writing for a long time, because this poem is dripping off experience, and that is very admirable. I loved the way you played with the words,it made the poem more "alive" and interesting, it kept the reader reading. This poem is different, and I've never read something such is this, it is original, full of personality and flavor. Keep writing. I thank you for sharing :)

That made me laugh with he words you chose to do this stanza. I also like the format of the poem. It is very creative and not what you would usually think. I enjoyed reading this poem. Thank you. Keep writing.

Thanks for the reply. :)
