E - Everyone

The clouds that were grey....

I was standing outdoors

Watching the trees swiftly sway

They seemed to be obeying

The clouds that were grey

Everyone was indoors

Fearing a tremendous storm

But I did not feel like

Sitting coiled up in a dorm

The wind blew around my ears

It sounded like a soft whistle

It had no mercy for tree leaves

As it cut through them like a chisel

It soon began drizzling

And the temperature dropped low

It became ever so dim

That the white buildings seemed to glow

And suddenly, to certify its presence

The thunder loudly roared

It seemed to tear the sky into two halves

And the drizzle became a downpour

It was bone-chilling to think

That if this storm went on for weeks

It could wipe out millions

And many heartbeats would cease

Truly, nature is wonderful

But don't underestimate its power

As, through calamities like these

All of us, it can devour

Hi! Rida here for a review!

First impressions: W O W. This was a wonderful poem and I just loved it!

Glows:

This was a very, very, very, very, very good poem that shows the power of nature. The imagery is perfect. Everything about this is perfect. You should be proud of this. Really. If you don’t mind..... can I copy-paste this work to a separate folder I keep for my favourite poems? :D

Grows:
So, the thing I point out below is just my opinion, feel free to ignore it.

The only thing I thought could be improved is that you could add more punctuation. I think the page looks a bit neater with punctuation. But it’s just my opinion. Punctuation and all depends on the poet’s taste, so this one is really tiny and you can ignore this.

Lastly:
I loved the poem. It’s wonderful and I really look forward to more of these wonderful poem!

Hi!
This is a beautiful poem - you should be very proud of this work. I am in love with the imagery you've used, it makes you feel as though you're outside watching every aspect of nature. You really emphasise the power that Mother Nature has upon us all and how we should take care of our enviornment, especially our planet more. Honestly, I have no suggestions of improvement - you should share it around and I'm sure that others like myself will love this work as much I do!
Keep writing!
