Lost, or Alone?

E - Everyone

In Lyrics

I was making a puzzle, but this piece wouldn't fit where it was supposed to. Because it was from another puzzle. But there is no other puzzle, is there?

What if I say

Nothing when you asked where I was, yesterday

But will you be here tomarrow?

It's just that today,

Isn't getting better than thrusday

Cause thursday was just like any other day

Why did I even come?

When the path to a higher education is just a room of infestatiion

Where there is a lack of passion, where each and every session

Is just another by the book, just for looks, without hooks, or any justified punishment

When the worst diciplin is being left out

Why would I, enter this place, where everyone judges you for your face

And how could I, ever be, just like everyone else who doesn't see....

....Past the cover

So why should I, talk to you, if nothing I say matters so who

Who am I? In this place? Where I don't even have a face?

Who am I? In this world? Where I don't even have a place?

....I'm just another

I love this! This hits me personally, as I have often felt this, but could never seem to put it into words. Everyone has a place though, and I know that you will someday find yours. My favorite part is this:

"So why should I, talk to you, if nothing I say matters so who

Who am I? In this place? Where I don't even have a face?

Who am I? In this world? Where I don't even have a place?"

This says it all. A person wondering why he should talk to someone when he knows they don't really care, it doesn't matter to the other party. He is wondering who he is in this world. When you say
"Where I don't even have a face?"

To me, this sentence says that this person feels like he is like a shadow, a faceless being that no one notices, he isn't a big person, so to speak. Don't get me wrong, I love this poem, I just want you to know, that you do have a face, and you are a big person, at least to me, and I hope that counts as something. :)

This wasn't a great review, so I am sorry about that. This poem: 100/100

its great.

i like this part a lot:

"What if I say
Nothing when you asked where I was, yesterday
But will you be here tomarrow?"

its like you're asking the person for trust, for faith. for believing in you even when you're closed off, when u aren't forthcoming. what hits is that even though there's hope, i get the feeling that the narrator is mostly negative, like he expects a no for an answer.

i love the rhyming scheme and the rythm.
Beautiful poem!

(p.s. noticed a couple of spell errs)

Spelling errors are to be expected my friend, it's the one small deatail I always forget. And I love your interpretation. I won't give away whether you are right or wrong, so that I don't ruin someone else's interpretation. But I will say this, you are in the ballpark. But whether or not you made the home run, I will keep to myself. :)

That there's some good in this world, Mr Frodo - and it's worth fighting for.
