What if darkness was light?
And what if lightness was dark?
What if in all the shadows
There lay a hidden spark?
And what if the many facets
Of us, and you, and me
Were not just split to dark and light
And lived in harmony?
~~
What if Earth had many colors
But still had the same single soul?
And what if this world was a hostess
Crumbling like a china bowl?
What if humans were antagonists
And the earth was the heroine here?
And if roles were reversed, light and dark
Would humans still live without fear?
~~
What if within this shadow
There was still a spark that hid?
What if humans switched perspectives
And attempted one last bid?
And what if dark and light
Simply became one big gray?
With all wanting one large goal
Would there finally dawn a new day?

The poem is really well done and I like it a lot. It is a good food for thought on the balance of everything in the universe and how it would be different is things were the other way around. It is something to ponder once in awhile. Look at the universe in a different light and see how it could possibly be different.

Hello there!
I'm here for a quick review. I love how you wrote this out. I think it's beautiful and profound in both ways. I have once thought about what we could do if we all protected the earth even in a small way such as throwing away trash in the bin. This poem made me think deeper and think about the world and how much we are ruining it.
Suggestions
"to dark and light"
I think "to" might be better if used as "into dark and light".
"And lived in harmony," I think this part doesn't connect well with the stanzas that was written before it.
I really enjoyed reading this! Thank you for sharing this and I hope you have a great day!
Keep on writing!

This poem is asking a deeper question that I think you should outright say. Read mijn liefde on the most liked works on the front page.
Hey! I read the poem... but I don%u2019t think I get what you want me to understand... ^~^
Like at the end he said is it wrong to love a girl that doesn't exist. Basically, I am saying search for some deep truth and put that in your poem. I recommend studying philosophy for it.
