Chapter Eight.
Once we were all inside Camron's truck, I demanded answers. I wasn't about to let this go on anymore. I needed the truth.
"What is this family feud between ya'll?" My eyes traveling between the two boys. They both looked guilty. Neither of them talking nor looking at me. They were distracting themselves by looking out side of the tinted windows.
"Tell me everything." I pleaded. My voice thick with begging.
"Boe, you're not really who you think you are, and there's not really a family feud. We made this because it was better than telling you the truth." Ethan began. "You're adopted and I was sent here to protect you. You're a rare Fey. That's why you are so good at fighting, it's natural too you." Ethan eyes were focused on me. He sounded like this was painful for him to say.
I didn't say anything. I didn't know if I would, or could believe him. He's insane. Or so I thought until Camron cut in.
As it turns out their both insane.
"It's true Boe. That's why I knew to stay away from you. You're not suppose to know about this, about who you really are. Ethan's here to protect you. I didn't know what, or who you were when I first met you, but when I saw Ethan, I knew you were the girl who disappeared in the royal family, the one who was sent to live with humans." Camron's voice was strong and reassuring. His eyes never left the shocked expression on my face.
"Stop. I don't believe you. This can't be real. Couldn't be real. I'm just Boe Marie Hudson. I'm average. I have straight Cs. I'm normal. I'm really not who you think I am. I can promise you that." A huge lump was in my throat making it hard to talk.
"Boe, It's the truth. I wish it wasn't, but it simply is. You're seventeen, about to be eighteen that when the change happens."
"What change? What are you two? Please tell me your just kidding." I pleaded knowing that this is ethe truth my best friend kept from me.
"There's witches, vampires, shape shifters, werewolfs and then there's Fey. Fey has all the genes of all the creatures of the night. The fey is royal. Vampires need blood, and werewolfs need meats but you don't need it because you have the fey genes. You can survive on just real food like a witch." Ethan slowly explained.
"Stop! Please! Stop lying to me! I'm not anything, your making this up! This isn't real." I put my hands over my ears to block them out.
"Boe! That necklace you wear under your shirt? That's a royal Fey necklace. Made only for Feys. It would burn me and everyone else who isn't Fey, if it touched their skin. That's proof. Please believe me." Camron begged.
I looked down at my steel necklace that had a little heart with a circle around it. I had it since I was little. I've never taken it off. I adore my necklace. It makes me feel unique because I've never seen anyone with a necklace similar to mine.
"Here look at mine." Camron slid his shirt down more to revel a circle necklace with a tooth and a wolf imprinted on the middle of the pendent. The necklace was incredible. It had the same circle shape as mine.
"Here's mine." Ethan pulled his blue shirt down to revel an almost replica of my pendent but his had a wire fence over the heart. "It means I'm a Fey protector. I'm your protector."
"Why haven't you told me this sooner? Why keep something this big from me? Ethan! You totally betrayed me. How could you! We've been friends since Mattie died!" I crossed my arms over my chest waiting for him to answer me.
"Boe, I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I just couldn't. It could have gotten you in danger. The Royals rules were not to tell you or they would kill me, but now I'm taking that risk. You deserve to know the truth about your self before the change."
"What change?" I asked. I wasn't angry anymore. I would have done the same for Ethan if it was reversed,I understand why he did what he did. It was for my protection.
"You are an experiment. Too see if a Fey could live their whole life not having any knowledge of what they actually are, but on a Fey's eighteenth birthday, you'll be immortalized. That's the vampire in you. You wont age, you'll crave blood and raw meat. You can change into a werewolf, or shape shift into any other creature that is in your family history."
My jaw dropped. I couldn't believe this was happening to me. I was different. I wasn't normal, I'm a Fey. My entire life has been an complete lie. I'm an experiment. My heart completely dropped into the bottomless pit of my stomach. I didn't feel right.
I can't process this. My head started spinning, and everything was moving. I heard Camron's faint voice before everything went dark before my eyes.

Okay.
This was interesting. I've never heard of a fey. Do you mean Fay? Fay means fairy. There is also a Fae.
You need to explain that more. And the speech is a little awkward. Make sure to read it aloud to someone or even something, see how it sounds. Record it even so it doesn't sound awkward.
Remember those pesty ' and those spaces between commas and words. Other then that, this is very nice. You had me thinking Camron was a vampire. And one thing. With her arms around his neck in the last chapter.. How come she didn't feel the chain? When you touch someone's neck while they're wearing a necklace, I'm sure you'll feel the chain..
Overall it was nice to finally understand this confusion between the characters.

And I love this, can't wait to read even more!
Hey there!
Here to do a review!
This chapter was good, I liked that it didn't turn to him being a vampire like I had feared. There is still shortness of the chapters, but I'll stop talking about that since you like to write them short.
There are still grammar mistakes that can be easily fixed if you slow down, and reread.
I like the idea about her being a mythical creature as well as the two boys. And I like the idea of her being an experiment. I've enjoyed this story quite a bit. Keep it up.
Thanks.
