Spinning Wheel.

In poetry

Being the person I am,
I wonder,
How much of this can I bear, any longer,
It goes on and on,
Like a spinning wheel, that will never stop.
When will it stay peaceful?
With no problems and worries.

This life goes on and on,
Never dwelling in time or moments,
No two seconds of life are the same,
I can't plead it to move faster,
And I can't ask it to slow down.
Life is a master of its own,
Leading and directing itself.

It is out of my control,
way out of my reach,
I can only nod and follow its tide,
High and low, that's how it goes,
Often catching me off guard.

It doesn’t matter if life is a ruthless master,
For I am not a milquetoast,
To fall on my knees and never rise up.
I shall stare life to a halt,
And spin a yarn that I have always yearned for.

Hey GrymmRipper,
I really enjoyed this poem. I just loved the whole genre of it. I think my favorite stanza was the first one, however i felt the last line of the first sentence was a bit short and choppy as compared to the other ones. i'm not a poet so i'm not quite sure how to word that XD Also I think the question mark should be at the end so its "when will it stay peaceful/with no problems and worries?" but that's up to you. i was also a bit confused as to why the last stanza was in a different font but that doesn't really matter too much haha. Anyway keep writing!
