Aimless.

In poetry

Sitting on a chair,
Staring into space,
Sipping a cup of tea,
Feeling so misplaced,
The flavor has gone bland ,
tasteless......
The air goes still,
Time comes to a halt
and I'm feeling drowsy,
If the floor disappears..
Where will I fall?
An aimless question floating on the thought of sleep...

Hi there!

This is a really good poem! I think that almost everyone has had this feeling of being lost in your surroundings. I like the question that you pose to yourself and the reader. It is very unique. I don't like reviewing too much on stylistic components of poetry because the writing and the form of the writing are each their own art elements. However, I think that with your ellipsis' that you have you should have them mirror each other. Maybe stick with just two periods for each one or do several, but see how you like it when they all have the same number! Other than that, great poem!
