E - Everyone

Friend

Meant to be siblings ,

just birthed apart ,
My most treasured finding ,
You'll stay forever in my heart .

Throughout my highs and lows ,
You stuck with me like glue ,
Why do I need a fairy God mother ? ,
When You , my greatest wish came true .

We've shared each other's tears and smiles ,
We've traversed miles together ,
We've confided in each other our dark secrets and lies ,
We shall be friends forever ...

" A Friend in need is a friend indeed " ,
is a lesson learnt from you ,
In my life you have planted a seed ,
That'll flower and blossom for eternities through ....

Thank you Friend ,
For being my pillar of strength ,
when my soul was not set free ,
Thank you Friend ,
For holding my hand ,
even when the whole world was against me ...

Here's wishing my amazing friend ,
A Happy Friendship Day ,
which this poem just tried to convey ....

This is just like something I would love to say about my closest group of friends, I'm actually going to quote this and send it them, because of how perfect it is for us as a group of friends. Well written, creative and overall you wrote this with something in mind and in my opinion, you hit the bull's eye.
Because of how much I love this, I don't want to go into nitpicking, but anyways someone has done something that's good enough before. (forgive me).
Great work and a Happy Friendship Day to you too.

Hello! herbgirl here for a review!
This is a simple, pleasant poem. I think the friendship you describe here is something most people can relate to at least at some point in their lives, or it's something they strongly desire. Good job with displaying that friendship.
I had a few edits, most of them with formatting. I'll go in chronological order. In the first stanza, your lines are a bit messed up. I think this was just a typo when you made it, but put those first four lines together. Next, the first word of the second line needs to be capitalized.
In the last line of the next stanza you capitalize the word "You", which I don't think is necessary, since you didn't capitalize it anywhere else in the poem. Also in that line, I would suggest adding a comma after "my greatest wish," just to provide an extra pause so that the poem flows better.
In the next stanza, I felt like the third line interrupted the flow of the poem. I think if you either took out "and lies" or changed "dark" to "darkest" the flow would be fine.
Your fourth stanza was fine, there were no edits I had there, but your and sixth stanzas really bothered me. They are respectively six and three lines long when all the other stanzas in the poem were only four. This can easily be changed for the fifth stanza, by combining the first and second lines and the fourth and fifth lines. The last stanza, however, would need to have another line added to it if you wished to change it. This one bothers me slightly less, since it is not unheard of to end a poem with a few lines or a shorter stanza. However, I would still recommend adding another line.
Finally, the last thing that bothered me was the way you ended each stanza through half of your poem. You ended each stanza with "..." This bothered me, because it gave each stanza an unfinished feel, which was especially annoying in the last stanza, which should have tied up the poem. I suggest just shortening it to ".".
Anyways, good work with your poem! Work on these edits, and it'll look very nice.
