Haa, Haa, Haa…
Rooftop leaping then I believe I am sleeping.
A monster is creeping in the night, wishing the light of the helicopter wasn’t so bright.
It is red and soon to be dead.
Haa, Haa, Haa…
Rooftop leaping then I am sleeping.
Every leap lands me in a heap.
This nightmare is old, chasing me through the bitter cold.
The building I passed by imploded, planes on fly.
The monster died the shadow cried.
So I lift up to the sky this great shift.
Haa, Haa, Haa…
Rooftop leaping … I am sleeping.
The lights pretend I will not descend.
Bloody nightmare, blood flows threw the air.
I slip right under covers with thoughts of midnight endeavors.
Haa, Haa, Haa…
Rooftop leaping then I am not sleeping.
Oh, not at all. Such a great fall.
This song is about a guy who finds when he is sleeping, he is a superhuman.
It all happens when " the lights pretend I will not descend"
meaning he has fallen from the sky, being hit with a bullet.

The person who is leaping across roofs is laughing because leaping far distances and onto buildings is death defying. He is laughing to keep himself from stopping and freaking out.
I like this a lot, however, this to me looks a lott more like a poem because of the lack of a chorus. I am not saying every song has to have a chorus, but it helps.
I don't get the laughing.
Also, the fact you had to explain what your song about is concerning. Maybe add more detial so it's obvious?
Keep writing,
Kay
I like this! What is the "hha?"'s for though?(: It's very different, and unique. I like that you like to write like this. It's obviously about a monster trying to run away or something. Maybe you should explain more or go into detail about what the poem is about.
