Hoping to get a good running start this week because my parents are visiting this weekend and tbd how much writing I'll get done!

Took a minute to take off and get back in Georgia's voice. I've been fiddling away with this scene for a while now and I bounced around a little within the scene today. I really like how I ended it, but now I need to go back and connect an earlier part to his ending part.

(My main characters are Georgia and Aiden - have I mentioned that yet?)

Finished my scene from yesterday and started a new Aiden scene! Had to refresh my memory on some Aiden things but then I figured out what needs to happen in this scene to actually move the plot forward and I was off to the races. I'm not used to being ahead on nano goals. What even is this?! But today's words were brought to you by [putting anything that requires more than five seconds of thought in brackets to come back to later]. Probably could've written more, but now I'm excited to write tomorrow!

Super long day at work so I knew it'd be tough to write today! But I'm glad I still wrote something

ps - I write in scrivener and when I went to check my writing history so I'd have the correct number for the month total, I realized I somehow put the wrong total for yesterday? I wrote 1096 yesterday? idk, editing yesterday's posting!
WAIT I REMEMBER. I finished writing, did my day 2 post. then I wrote out what needs to happen in the rest of the scene. that's why I magically added a bunch of words. lol it's time for bed.

Another long work day and I am SO tired. My goal was to at least get to 8500 words today so mission accomplished! Can't share a quote because every sentence has [stuff in brackets] because I'm too tired to try very hard rip. Hopefully I can finish this scene tomorrow and get it a little more readable!

My parents arrived for a long weekend! It'll be hard to get much writing done while they're here, but my goal is to write *something* every day and catch-up next weekend!

While my parents are here, I'm going to slowly work my way through this scene and try to remove as many [things I wanted to save for later] and smooth it out. If I can stay less than 1000 words behind, I think I'll be in decent shape to get caught up again next week!

This scene is probably over halfway smoothed out! Wrote more than I thought I would and now I'm about one day behind (567 words to be exact).
