Fear Academy (Started but still accepting)

Roxanne
I watch the end of the fight and look oon stunned but shake it off and take a walk out into the darkening woods. I look around as the wind deafens me for a moment then I jerk as a loud crack sounds from behind me and everything goes all of a sudden black and my head throbs with pain while I send out one last distress call to whoever was in range of my thoughts. Which lucky for me was my mom.

Sarafine
I bolt up from my bed and scream out Roxanne's name and my roommates look at me startlingling. "What what is it?" they ask me but i push them back gently into their beds and pretend that I've just missed her a lot and will just go and see here real quick then come back. I slowly back away and once out of sight though I run deep into the woods and on my way before I enter the woods I run full on into Tatsel and knock him down to the ground with me. I don't give him time to say anything before I bolt up and run into the woods soon finfing him with a blade to his own daughters throat. "Would you really kill her Gideon?!" I sob then he knocks the air out with his one word. "Yes"

Raven

I don't believe Sarafine for a second. Something has to be really wrong for any of us to leave the realitively safe hospital room after what we heard hapen to Mrs. Wenchester, by the same person that captured and was going to toture and kill us. Especially not in the middle of the night. So, after a few seconds, I get up out of bed and start to follow her.

As I am walking through the threshold, Trinity whisper-screams, "What are you doing?!"
Captian obvious, I say, "Following Sarafine."
"What? You'll get yourself killed."
Unfazed, I say nonchalantly, "Maybe."
"Well, its a stupid idea," Trinity says, "But if you're going, so am I."
"No, both of yur legs are broken." I walk back over to her bed and move the wheelchair out of reach, then push the safty rails up on her bed, just in case she trys to crawl to her wheelchair. Glaring at me, she watches me walk out the door. As I walk down the hall, following Sarafine, I hear Trinity yelling from our room, calling our names, and Steve's. I assume that she is trying to stop me.

Unfazed, I walk out of the hospital and and locate Sarafine, who is heading towards the woods. I gulp, and almost turn back, but I steel myself and walk determinately towards the woods. Palms sweaty, heart pumping, I keep up with Sarafine's relentless pace, until we are deep in the woods.

After what seems like forever, Sarafine stops, and I stare in horror at what lies ahead. Gideon is there, a torturer, rapist, and murderer. I see the gleaming knife that is his trademark gleaming in his hand. It is pressed to a girl's throat, a girl I recognize as Sarafine's daughter, Roxanne. There are a few drops of blood leakng from her lip, like little red rubies. Se is beaten and bruised, nearly dead. And Gideon is about to finish the job.

Sarafine, dumbstruck, says threateningly, although her voice quavers slightly, "Would you really kill her?"

"Yes." He says, and Sarafine sinks to the ground. I am visible noow, and Gideon recognizes me. "Oh, well aren't we in for a little treat? Sarafine, Roxanne, and the little traitor. Hhm, who- sorry, what- should I kill first?"

We are all speechless. Except for me. "I'll go. But just so you know the authorities are already on their way." I say, trying to sound confident, but failing. Even through all that I've been through, or maybe because I've been through so much, I'm afraid to die.

Sarafine
"No." I stand strong and confident then bare my fangs at him and in my blurr speed end up right in front of him my arms wrapped aroundd him and his knife in one of my hands as a sadness shows in my eyes I do the unthinkable and mash my lips hard against his then as he's distracted I plunge the dagger into his heartand move my lips to his neck sinking them in and drinking deeply. When I don't expect it he pulls a stake out and stakes it through my own heart. "Love forever dead." I say then before the authoritys get here me and him are dead side by side.

Luna

I was on my way Kai's office when Steve comes barreling towards me like a man .

"Steve?" I touch his shoulder. "What's wrong?"

He began to wheeze something about Sarafine and Raven before he begins swaying slightly. I sit him down against the wall and take off at break neck speed out of school and into the trees after the girls. I hear a scream and run towards it only to find Sarafine and Gidoen lying lifeless on the floor and Roxanne and Raven staring speachlessly at them. I run forward and drop down beside Sarafine. She's not moving. I pull her head into my lap and call her name.

"Sarafine!" I call. "C'mon honey, don't you dare just give up like that!"

I pull her more full onto me and see the gaping wound on her chest oozing profuse amounts of blood. I rip off the tank top i'd put on and pressed it against the angry looking hole and hope I can save her. Roxanne began screaming for her to wake, for her not to just leave. All I wanted was to give her that chance. I pulled out a silver dagger and ran it against my wrist before holding it against her mouth.

"Sarafine," I called again. "it's not your time to leave this place yet, and i'll be damned if I let u lay here and die, because if you do, i'll bring you back just so I can kill you myself."

Just then she began coughing and wretching up my blood trying to fill her lungs with air.

"You can't kill what's already dead, idiot." she cholked out.

I let a sigh of relief and laughed as Kai came into sight with at least five other people behind him. Roxanne scrambled forward to cry into her mom's neck.

"Thank you!" she sobbed again and again.

Sarafine mumured something in her ear as she began to comb her fingers through her hair. She stared at me with this grateful but sad look in her eyes and began to cry as well when I smiled down at her. Just then Kai kneel down beside me and wrap his arma around me. I bury my face in his chest and sigh. Someone lifts Sarafine out of my lap as Kai tended to my wrist without letting go if me. I try to tell i'm fine, but I must've lost more blood than I realize because my speech slurs slightly and his face begins to dim.

"Shh," he kisses my forehead tenderly. "rest now, talk later."

I try to speak again but slip into a yawning darnkness before I get the chance.

How could Raven do that to me!? After she leaves, I lie in bed, knowing I can't do anything to help, worried about what might happen, scared even. I hate not knowing. It makes me feel so helpless, like I am, like I was when master killed my family. I miss my family. I wish they were here to comfort me. I wish I could have told them that I don't hate them. Sarafine is rushed in right past me. Raven goes and sits on her bed. Ms. Wenchester, the headmaster, Roxanne, Steve, and the nurse come running in. They treat a pretty nasty wound, I can't get a good look at it, but something tells me I don't want to. Raven tells me what happened after all of the comotion, she sits there and awaits my response.

"I could have helped." I say.
"How!? We all got there too late!"
"My wrist is only inn a brace now! I could have wheeled my own wheelchair, it's all down hill from here! And before anything happened to Sarafine-" To finish I pull out my knife collection that not many people have seen, and I have never used.

I roll over to check on Sarafine, she's all patched up, and is resting now. I go on to sleep.

When I wake up, Raven and Sarafine are sleeping, and Steve is here. "Don't be mad at Raven," he says, "She was only trying to protect you, you would have done the same for her." I don't respond, and he comes over and sits on my bed. "You should be happy that Gideon is dead." he tells me. I ignore that too. "So I've heard about the last time you saw your family, why don't you tell me about your family? You've heard about mine." he asks obviously trying to change the subject, thinking of nothing better. "My mom was the sweetest person you could ever meet," I begin, "She would do anything for anyone. My aunts were pretty much the same way. They were the only family I had." "What about your dad?" he pushes. "He died a few days before I was born, so I never got to meet him. But my mom always said that he was handsome, a good cook,very musically inclined, and amazingly nice." I explain. "So pretty much, you're what your father was?" He asks with a smile. We kiss and Raven wakes up. "Please don't be mad at me." she says. "I wanted you to stay safe." I don't respond, though I know she only wanted the best for me.

Raven spends the day in and out of here, but I still don't talk to her. I feel like I should apologize, I'll do it later, when no one is around. At one point, Sarafine and I are alone, though she's going back to sleep. I'm listening to music. Then Steve and Raven run in. I pull out my headphones, and Steve puts me in the wheelchair. "Where are we going?" I ask. "You'll see." they say excitedly. We get outside and Steve covers my eyes. "Remember how you told me your family died?" Raven asks. I nod. "Well apparently they survived, that master of yours bit them, and had them trained by a friend of his!" What!? Steve uncovers my eyes, and there they stand, my mother, Aunt Alyse, and Aunt Martha.

They run over to me, all four of us have tears rolling down our faces. This is a reunion I have waited almost 200 years for, and it was well worth the wait. "You guys!," I shout, "I hope you know that I never hated you, I'm sorry I ran out that night I-" "Stop. We never thought you hated us, we used to get pretty consumed in our obsession with the supernatural. We're sorry you got frustrated." My mother corrects me. We have a really sweet, long, teary reunion. I introduce them officially to my best friend, Raven, and to my boyfriend, Steve. I wonder how they tracked them down, but I don't ask. We have a lot of catching up to do, my family and I. This is almost perfect, it would be better if my dad was here, so I could actually meet him.

Raven

For most of the day, I am in and out of the hospital visiting Trinity, spending my time out of the hospital researching, after Steve suggested that I should look up Trinity's family's names. We both do, and we rendezvous in the hospital hallway, either me going in and him stepping out or vice-versa. I wanted to tell her right once we found out her family was alive, which we found out on a vampire gossip site (I kid you not) but Steve convinced me to wait until we knew we were 100% sure.

Better than that, I found out how to contact them through a vampiric online self-help group (again, I kid you not). So I called the number and asked if it was her mother, and she started sobbing on the phone. Apperantly she didn't know that her daughter was alive, just as we thought she was dead. As it turns out, her mother,as well as both of her aunts, only live about 20 minutes from campus, in a mansion no less. They ask if they can see her, and I say of course they can, but give them a fair warning about her being in a wheelchair at the moment.

"Why is she in a wheelchair?!" Trinity's mother asks, her voice concerned in that way that only mothers seem to be able to perfect.

Then I have to launch into the story about Gideon. I tell them about our multiple times being captured and narrowly escaping, about how Luna, Steve, and Domino, as well as Kai saved our lives more than once. Then I get to the part where Sarafine stabbed Gideon, and about me refusng to let Trinity out of the hospital room when she wanted to help.

"Thank you." She said, her voice racked with emotion. "I can't believe he's dead. Thank God he's dead." After that she launches into her story, about how Gideon turned them and his friend trained them in weaponry. Their final test was to beat him in a life-or-death battle, and I think you can guess who won, from thee outcome at least.

Later, we decide to meet at five right outside the hospital, as a suprise for her. After, we say our goodbyes and hang up. I waltz down the hallway and walk over to the hospital, where I am supposed to meet Steve in the hallway in fifteen minutes. I can't wait that long; the news is too good. Instead, I stand outside the door of Trinity's and Sarafine's hospital room until Steve notices my shadow. I can here him excusing himself for a moment while he went to the bathroom. After the door clicked shut, he whisper-yelled, "What? You were about to lead her on!"

"I know, I know. But I have some really good news. I got in contact with Trinity's family and they're coming today at five!" I almost squel, grinning from ear to ear.

"Oh my God, that's fantastic!" He whisper-shouts. "Hey, I've got to go now, or Trinity's going to think somethings up."

"Ok, but you've got to wipe that grin off your face first. You went to the bathroom, remember?" I say, raising one eyebrow.

Without another word, he slips back into the room and I walk out. We are going to meet in the hospital room at four-thirty to get Trinity in her wheelchair and be out the door by five. God, I'm so excited.

Luna

I headed over to the infirmary to check on Sarafine and see how she was doing when I see Asther.

"Hey Asther." I smiled. "Going to see your mother?"

She nods but says nothing. We walk in silence. My wrists begins itching and I begin to scratch but yank my hand away. Asther notices my wrists and comments on it.

"How's you wrist?" she looks at it.

"Itchy as all out doors." I answer and rub my wrist against my hip trying to get some sort of relief.

"Oh." she says with a slight nod.

We enter the infirmary and see Sarafine is awake.

"Hey," she smiles when she see us. "what's u?"

Asther walked up and kissed her on her forehead and cheek.

"Just came to see how you were doing." I answered.

"My chest hurts like nobody's business, but i'm doing fine." she says.

"And you can make a full recovery now that Gideon's no longer a threat." I remind her.

"Yea," she agrees absentmindedly and looks at Asther. "give me a moment alone with Luna?"

Asther looks at me before leaving.

I sit down on the bed beside hers. "So what's up?"

"I just wanted to say i'm sorry about what Gideon did to you." she looked away.

"Well,"I lay down sideways on the bed and look at her. "what happened to me wasn't your fault, so I don't know why you're apologizing."

"It's just," her fists clenched around the sheets. "I never thought Gideon was capable of doing something like that."

I laid down in my back and look up at the ceiling. "Here's something else you didn't know. He'd gotten me pregnant that night."

Sarafine made this coughing and gagging sound which I can only assume was her version of a shocked gasp. I help her take a drink of water and lay back down.

"Yea," I sighed. "that was something like my reaction when I found out."

"What did you do with the baby?" she asked quietly.

"Miscarriage." I touched my stomach. "My reproductive organs were too damaged to carry a child to it's full term."

"And now?" she looks at me.

"There's still damage, but not enough to cause any problems." I tell her.

I waited while she summoned up the courage to ask the question that was bouncing around in her head.

"How was your reproductive system damaged?" she held her breath.

"Repeated sexual and physical abuse." I answered sadly. "My father wasn't very nice back then, and he had a bit if a temper."

"Oh my god." she whispers covering her face with her hands. "That sounds disgusting and horrible."

"It was." I say.

We sit in silence for a moment before someone walks in. We see Kai close the door and head towards us. He looks at me.

"How can we help you Headmaster?" I ask.

"Actually," he started. "I only require you for this. Would step outside with me Ms. Wenchster?"

"I'll be fine by myself." Sarafine jumps in.

I glare at her before getting up. She nods at Kia before closing her eyes. Kai holds the door for me as I walk past him out into the hallway.

Roxanne
I watch the headmaster and Luna talk outside the infirmary but I don't catch much of it while I head off to the library to see if I can find any strays in there to invade their minds till they leave. I enter through the double doors and invade the first person I sense and it just so happens to be a boy named Tatsel, a vampire boy at that who could pry sense me in his head unlike a human so imedeatly I try to hide from him.

I spend the evening out and about on campus with Raven, Steve, and my family. We show them all over, then we take them to mine and Raven's currently unoccupied dorm, which we'll be returning to tomorrow. My family loves the place, it amazes them, just as it does me. They sit on my bed, Steve and Raven sit on her's, I'm in the wheelchair between the two. "So who wants dinner!?" My mother pipes up, "I'll buy!" "Ms. Evans you don't have to-" Steve starts. "Oh please!," my mother insists, "I want to! And call me Maribelle! You reunited me with my daughter, you're family!" They smile. My mother takes us to the sandwich place just off campus. They have great food there! When we return, I give my mother my key to our dorm, since we won't be there until tomorrow, they can use it tonight, we'll figure something else out in the morning. After they all turn in, and Steve goes to his dorm, Raven and I stroll around campus. I get a bit teary, "Thank you! Thank you for mending a family that was broken from the start!" I tell her. "I just thought you should get to see your family." she says dismissing the thanks, but the truth is I can never repay her for this, Steve either.

When it gets really late, Raven heads back towards the infirmery. I tell her I'll be there in a while, my wrist is only in a brace now, so I can wheel myself. I continue strolling around campus, thinking about my family, and how I never could have pictured this day. I am way deep in thought, and don't even notice until after it happens, I wheel right into a senior. Here we go. "Watch where you're going!" she screams, then she backs up and looks even madder than before. "You're that vampire that kept getting kidnapped aren't you?" I nod. She picks me up out of my wheelchair by my hair. "Well I'm going to finish, what that idiot started, because I'm not going to be living in fear, I'm going to eliminate the problem!" I let out a scream, and she punches me square in the mouth. Can there ever be peace for me? My mother must have heard me scream, because she appears almost from no where. She hisses at the girl, showing her fangs. "Put her down!" She demands. The girl snickers. "Never!" "So be it then!" My mother pounces, causing the girl, and myself, to go flying. She releases her grip, and I lay motionless on the floor. My mother grabs the girl from behind and covers her mouth. She goes to bite her, but just as she is about to sink her fangs in, I scream, "Stop!" My mother releases the girl, and she runs away. I am put back into my wheelchair, and go back to the infirmery, my mother follows. I get into bed. "Why did you make me stop!? I haven't fed in two months!" "Because you would only have made things worse around here. If you need blood that badly, there are about 10 bottles in the mini fridge by my bed in the dorm." "I'm sorry sweetie, I guess you're right," she admits, "I'll just have a bottle from your stash. I didn't think about how it would effect the school. Glad you stopped me." She trots back to the dorm.

I lay there in silence when Raven rolls over. "What hapened!?" she asks with concern. "A senior girl, a mortal. She was attacking me, my mother heard me scream, came to the rescue, went to bite her, but I stopped her." I explain. "Oh my gosh! Are you okay?" "I'm fine, I just have a headache. And my mouth is a bit sore, but I'll be fine." I tell her. She nods and we both go right to sleep.

Pearl

What did he mean by "whatever you want us to be?". Confused, I follow him with my journal on my hand and a pen. Surely, I had been sketching a lot the past few days. We walk into the gym again, and I remember the times we had there. There were some of them there. People like Sarafine who just passed us.

I cleared my throat. He started shooting and he didn't miss even one of them. I was impressed.

"Hey, you haven't seen Tatsel anywhere, have you?" he asks, flashing a smile.

"Um... No." I say, slowly. "I might have, I did see a shadow passing my dorm which looked kind of like him, yesterday night."

He sighed. "Damn! I need to find him."

"We could ask Sarafine!" I said, pointing to her outside. She was strolling through the school grounds.

"No way." he said, shaking his head off.

"That's the only way. Sarafine's always behind Tatsel." I say, hopefully waiting for an answer.

Chase

I sigh, glancing at Sarafine. God. I'm going to regret this.

I yawn and pretend to be uninterested in doing this, and drop the basketball. I grab Pearl's hand and make her walk out with me, wanting a witness in case I get murdered or something....

"Hey Sarafine," I say, "Have you seen Tatsel?"

She just stares at me, shrugging, "I might've."

"Where is he?" I ask, "I need to find him. He told me he wanted to ask me something last night and I fell asleep before he could tell me."

She points to my dorm and I nod In a thanks before dragging Pearl with me again. I open it, Tatsel on his bed, reading, "Hey," I say quietly, Pearl behind me, "You wanted to see me?"

Tatsel "Morpheus" Lunatone

I looked up from my book, right in the middle of "The Raven." What should I tell Chase? I couldn't reveal myself as a vampire. I swore never to break that rule until I was sure it was time to turn Chase. I bookmarked my place, shut the book, and got on my feet. "I wanted to ask you about something rather complicated. I was told you were attacked and I wanted to know who did that to you."
Chase looked confused. "Why is it complicated?"
I swallowed. "It's hard to explain on my part. It's a rather...private matter between us roommates." With someone other than Chase being around during the conversation, it would be even harder to explain myself. I had many roommates before, but all of them were either claimed by another vampire or dead by now. I wanted Chase to be my claim and only mine. If another vampire tries to claim him under my nose, I'll wring that vampire's neck and throw the body in a bonfire just to watch it burn.

The next morning, once Raven, Sarafine, and I are all awake, everyone comes in to help us move our things back to our dorms. We can finally return to them, now that Gideon is dead. It's a good thing that our dorm, in addition to two beds, has a pull-out couch, that my mother and aunts can sleep on, otherwise I don't know where we would put them. Once everything is put back in order, Raven wheels me to class, since classes resume today. We get to first period, and many people are glaring at me. Ms. Wenchester enters, and class begins. Then almost out of nowhere, a hand shoots up, it belongs to a mortal girl. "Ms. Wenchester, why would you help the vampires? They're horrid creatures. Why not just let that guy kill them?" Ms. Wenchester seems as shocked by the question as me. Raven shakes her head in disapproval. Before Ms. Wenchester answers, I excuse myself, and wheel out of the room. Raven comes out about a minute later. "Trinity!" she calls, "Come on! Come back to class!" I don't, and neither does Raven. Surprisingly, as we pass it, we find the music room empty. I lead Raven in. "What are we doing in here?" she asks. "Relieving stress." I say angrily. I begin to play piano. It, of course, calms me. I tell Raven to go to class, that I'll be there shortly. She leaves, but I don't return to class. I go to our dorm, and find written on our door in spray paint, Give it up vampire, we're coming for you! I go down the hall and find the same thing on Sarafine's door, and a few others. This is not good. Then class must be getting out, because everyine comes throught the halls. Once the crowd starts to die down, I see Sarafine exit her room, she skipped first period. We stroll down the hall discussing the grafitti on the doors, when we see them, about seven or eight viscious looking mortals, armed, staring right at us.

Steve Crepsley

I was walking the halls inbetween classes, looking for Trinity, I wanted to make sure she was alright. I was almost late for my next class when I found her and Sarafine standing in the hall with a group of people holding a variaty of improvised weapons, blocking the hall ahead.  I'm suprised by this and pause a moment before coming back to my senses, I come up with a basic plan and making the rest up as I go.

I jog up besides Trinity and ask "friends of yours?" in an upbeat and sarcastic tone.  She just shoots me a look in response to which I give my cheeriest smile.  As all this is going on the other group is sharing confused looks and I have slipped my hand into my pocket and sent a text to the first contact in my phone, having no idea who it was a quick text, SOS dorm hall mult enemy armed w Trin an Sara.  Hoping whoever got it was a sympathiser and would understand my urgent half formed text.

I turned my full attention back to the crowd, "So what are you fine people up to this morning?" I asked calmly and still with a joking sarcastic air to my voice, "any plans for the afternoon?  No?  Well that's too bad." still talking, just trying to buy some time.

I turned my attention to Trinity, "Hey do you still have the pepper spray that you got from ms. Wenchester?" she nods. "Great," I say enthusiastically "mind if I borrow it?" she hands it to me, I see from the corner of my eye that the mob, is starting to get restless "I'm not a smoker you know and aren't even friends with any and yet still I always carry a lighter with me," I say flashing a smile, "I guess you never know when you might need some fire." I quickly pull out my lighter and flick it on holding it up to the nozel of the can "next one to move gets burned!" I say, all shreds of joking out of my voice.  A few of them of course ignore my warning at this point, taking it for a bluff and I press down on the can, sending a blast of flame at the aggressors, causing several people to jump and scream and making them all much more warry.

I keep my eyes locked on the mob while I turn my head to the side "start backing up slowly" I say to Sarafine and Trinity.  It was a game of chance now, either the fuel in my lighter or the pepper spray would run out, my text would yield results, someone would wander along our little standoff, or the mob would attack and my makeshift flamethrower would not be able to stop them all.

Steve comes to our rescue, at first I wasn't sure what he was up to, with all the sarcasm. I understood his plan once he pulled out the lighter. They all jumped when he sent the flames towards them, but it didn't hold them back for long. A few of them jumped right at Steve, one grabbing the lighter, another the pepper spray, then Steve was on the ground, a couple of the attackers holding him down. "This is gonna be too easy." one of them snickers. One of them has a rope, next thing I know I am tied to my wheelchair, one of them just holding the handles, so I don't go anywhere. "Don't worry, this is only momentarily." they laugh. Then they go at Sarafine. She tries to fight them off, and does a great job, for a while. Then they definately have her, she goes to scream, but a particularly large girl stops her, "Any of you scream, you die now!" she exclaims. Besides, no one can do anything right now, class is in session. Sarafine continues to fight with them, until one of them knocks her out, banging her head to the wall. The ones holding Steve down help him up, forcing him to walk with them. They leave Sarafine on the ground, and walk us into, a dorm, I assume one of theirs. Two of them guard the door, another the window.

"Don't worry, Steve is it? We're not going to kill you, unless we have to. We just gotta get the vampires." Two of them are sent back to get Sarafine. A minute later they return, dragging her in, tossing her on the floor. I am untied, and thrown beside her. One of them throws my wheelchair into the dorm across the hall. Steve begins to struggle, trying to make his way over to me, but a knife is pressed against his throat. "No!" I get out, barely loud enough to hear, before everything goes black.
