Burns,

I hear Shay run off, and jump on something. The something yelps, and I can tell that Shay is licking, by the sounds he's making. I catch up to him. I click my tongue, to pick up the "picture" of what is in front of me, with echolocation. To my surprise, it's another Savior. Calli helps him up.

"Bet that scared you," she says, grinning. The other Savior just nods

"Hell, yes,"

"Well, why don't you come with us?" Calli continues, "It's really not safe to be alone out here. OK, Burns?"

I nod, "We'd better stick together,"

Shay whines in agreement.

**Thanks for letting me in guys. Here's my profile:

Name:
Akira

Gender:
Female

Age:
Unknown (Appears 16-24 depended on who sees her)

Description:
Akira is a mixture of a human with a chameleon. Only infected people, or mutants can actually see her as she really is, and that is a girl about 5"5 with pale ivory skin. On some parts of her body though, she has blue scales like on the back of her neck and on her wrists. Her hair is cut short, but it always messy, and is a vibrant orange colour. Her eyes are just coloured plain black, her iris and pupils of course. She tends to wear full black leather clothing. She is hauntingly beautiful.

Because she is part chameleon, she looks different to everyone else around her. They see what they want to see. She may resemble a mother of one of the Saviors, or a younger companion. Someone they want to see the most. The friend they have always wanted. Though it is hard to piece together that she looks differently to every person because when they try to describe her, they seem to get a loss for words.

Akira has full control over her image. If she wants to, she can change to be what they fear the most, or she can render herself invisible.

Personality:
Again, because she is the master of disguise, she is what ever they need. Like if one of them needs somebody to fall in love with, she could be that perfect person. If somebody needs a friend, she will be there beside them giving them a friendly smile. She prefers to be one on one with people, that way she can feel their emotions and get a hold of most of their thoughts, though if she is in a group of people, she has a tendency to be forgotten and out of the picture.

Really, she is cold and twisted. She purposefully manipulates people to get what she wants, and she doesn't like to do things for other people. She is stubborn though obedient when it comes to her masters. If she gets an order, she will do it and won't give up even if she dies trying unless she is told otherwise. It takes her a long time to get angry, but once she is, it is hard to calm her back down, and it usually ends up leading to bloodshed if the reason for her anger isn't resolved.

Power:
She is a master of disguise. She is only seen when she wants to be seen. People look at her and see a different person depending on the person who is seeing her. She can persuade and get people to almost instantly trust her. She can also climb walls.

Weakness/Strengths:
Akira can not swim. It is water burns her skin and makes her reveal who she really is for a little while. The only way she can drink or touch water is if it is polluted and contaminated. She can live without water though. She is not as fast or agile as the other animals are but she does have incredibly fast reflexes (think of a chameleon when it catches a fly with its tongue).

She can also breath without a mask, and can be incredibly stealthy. She is the perfect person for recon missions.

Short Bio:
Akira was once an Asian girl who lived in Tokyo. Every single day, she would hear the news broadcasts about the heavy pollution and the mutations and how they were slowly progressing closer and closer. Akira didn't care. She believed that she was safe in her little world.

She was an unbelievable swimmer. She was amazing, and always placed 1st in competitions. She was going to be trying for the Olympic games. Swimming was her life. There was nothing greater for her than the joy of swimming. But the Olympic games kept on being cancelled as the pollution got worse and worse. Akira eventually gave up on her dream.

The mutations and chemical air got passed the air filters of Tokyo on one night. The whole town had to be evacuated. Akira had got onto one of the planes, and was forced to leave her parents to wait for the next plane. She watched as they and her little brother, got suffocated and died, collapsing to the ground. Her plane ended up crashing over the ocean, and she was dumped into the water which was heavily polluted. It was there that she decided she didn't have the will to live any more. She didn't even try to save herself and swim even though she could, so very well.

She ended up waking up on a small tropical island, and the first animal she saw was a chameleon sitting there on a tropical leaf. When she reached out for it, she could not see her arm. She had inherited her powers, and became her twisted self from there.

She found the other clan of mutants, and made a home.

Weapon:
Small daggers that she can carry discreetly.

Other:
Up for love. ;)
Oh, and though she may seem like this evil person, it is only that she was shown how to live that way. She is tormented by the past, and hates the humans who she believes ruined the earth that killed her parents. Even though that is not rightfully justified because she did nothing to stop it. She is only trying to kill the Saviours because she believes they are the last remaining humans. She can be changed though, if given the chance and help from other people.

----------------------------

**My post. ;)

Akira

She sat there, plucking the leaves off the palm tree, one by one. The only difference was that every single time she ripped a leaf off, hazardous acids dripped out. She watched as the acid fell to the ground, sizzling, adding to the great acidity to the soil. She dropped the shredded leaves and sighed. She hated waiting.

It was the sound of footsteps that alarmed her. She got to her feet, feeling her whole body going numb, giving her invisibility. But it was not long lived because Azul just came from behind the bush. He gazed at the torn leaves eyes seemingly focusing and unfocusing them as if analyzing them, but then he continued his purring and smiled.

"Akira, you might want to come see the commander."

"And why might that be?" Akira asked, stepping towards him, slowly morphing back into her normal self.

"Because we have ourselves a band of humans." He grinned, sharp teeth revealing themselves. Akira felt herself start to tremble with excitement.

"Can't I just kill them now?" Akira felt herself saying, staring into the mutant forest behind her.

*Nice post Incognito, I love your character* :D

Kitrina,

The darkness was oppressive now, engulfing the two teenage saviors. The moonlight came out randomly, but becomes covered by clouds every time it shines.

"You remember the path?" Zire asked, the little girl.

Kitrina didn't answer, but touched every plant she met, groping around to find bent twigs.

After about 15 minutes, they were back near the massive tree.

The branches of it were too high to be reached by Kit alone. Zire let Kit climb on to his shoulders and then grab a low branch.

Kit scrambled up the branch and reached up higher to the next branch until she came to a sort of a platform made by all the branches coming together.

She helped Zire up to it, and they both sat quietly, peering around the leaves, nervously.

*Okay?*

**Yay! Another angry mutant ready to kill!:) **

Comm. Maya Blackwood,

I sat alone in my tent, sharpening my claws. Even in my mostly human form they stayed with me. Ugh, they were such a pain. Just another reasons to take over the world. That way, humans could never persecute me, or the others.

My tent flaps russeled open. I looked up to see Azul purring happily with Akira at his side. Azul grinned to show his sharp teeth and Akira's skin flitted between multiple shades.

"You two look excited," I said dryly. Azul nodded once and Akira merely grinned.

"What's the great news?" I asked. Both tried to speak at once then they stopped awkwardly, then they spoke again at the same time, then stopped and both looked at each other expectantly.

"Will someone just tell me the blasted news already?" I asked impatiently.

*Nice profile Incognito!*
*Nice post Silver*
Azul

I finally looked at Akira again expecting her to break the news to the commander. Unfortunately she did the same thing which made the commander impatient.

"Will someone just tell me the blasted news already?" She asked impatiently.

I looked back at Akira and then finally started to speak.

"The saviors are still alive" I said licking my lips.

The Commander stopped sharpening her claws and looked me straight in the eyes.

I shrugged and she looked at Akira, wanting an explanation.

"Hey, Don't ask me" She replied defensively, the hue of her skin changing sightly as she did.

"They probably fought off the squadron we sent" I sighed finally.

The commander started to think. She always thought through her plans before putting them into action. We waited patiently, we were used to waiting.

"You could send us to finish off the work" suggested Akira after a few moments waiting.

I blinked and looked at her, then back at the Commander who considered it for a while. I could feel the excitement of Akira, who stood next to me. She wanted to kill those humans soon, of course I wanted to kill them too, but i would have rather spied on them first, gathered information and then attack.

Then again, just attacking them head on was a good idea too. I started purring in delight.

*okay?*

Zire

There seemed to be someone watching us. I could feel its breathing. I signaled to Kitrina to who was just a few feet away from me to keep quit, but she did not need any forewarning for she had sensed the evil presence as well.

We lay low, not to speak or move. It was then that a pair of red eyes suddenly materialized in front of us.

Before we could do anything to fight of the figure that had just materialized in front of us, it used its limbs to throw us off the tree and onto the ground.

The attack had begun it seemed.

*Sorry for the boring post, heheHope its okay with everyone.*

*That was really funny, Silversun*

Should I make my own mutant as well?

I'll post after someone else confirms or denies this. :)

I clutched that flashlight and blanket with such gratefulness I thought I would explode rainbows and puppy dogs. Korri disappeared into the cave and began shuffling around and getting it ready. Then something crunched ominously in the surrounding forest. Something was out there. I clicked the little white button on the flashlight and the light abruptly disapeared. Another mutant attack was not on my current agenda for the night. I realized I was tired, very tired. I just wanted to sleep and maybe if I was lucky I would die in my sleep so I wouldn't have to wake up to more of this.

Korri reappeared quick as lightning. His eyes searched around, "Did you hear that?" he asked.

"Unfortunately," I grumbled, then turned to follow his gaze, "it could have been nothing."

"It's never nothing," he replied.

I sighed and dropped flashlight and blanket inside the cave, if there was going to be a fight I still wanted the flashlight at least to be there when it ended. Korri looked back at me and raised his eyebrows, "just covering my assetts," I said. If there was one thing I was good at it was keeping calm in situations just like this, minus the impending darkness. If I was fighting though, I doubt I would notice it. There wasn't any water around so I didn't know where I would draw my energy from. The moisture in the air was corrupt too, and harder to fix.

The crunching noise came again, and again. It patterned like footsteps. I started rolling up my sleeves like in one of those cheesy old movies when people get ready to fist fight. Korri was like a cat, cool as a cucumber. The sound was close, very close. Then it stopped. It was behind us.
All you need is 20 seconds of insane courage, and I promise you something great will come of it.

Okay, that's too negative comments about that suggestion, so I'll just stick to my character who is not making any progress in the story. :(

Kitrina,

Her eyes were deceiving her now, showing eyes and faces everywhere. She shook her head, trying to get rid of the hallucinations, but whipping around Zire's face with her long hair in the attempt.

Zire let out a stifled gasp.

At once, the sound of footsteps came and stopped near the base of the tree.

Kit peered around the leaves of the tree, gazing down at the ground, trying to spot her attacker. What she saw, was enough make her scramble away from her place, clapping a hand over her mouth to stop her self from screaming.

A hideous looking creature was at the base of their tree, gazing around as if trying to spot his enemies. From what Kit saw, half his face was human and had been mutilated. The other half was that of a wolf. He was on all fours, and his body was covered in grayish hair.

Zire looked at Kit who was now looking as she had seen a ghost. She was white as a sheet. Her eyes were wide and her mouth was open in a somewhat silent scream.

When Zire looked down himself, he only uttered two words,

"Oh god"

The wolf man looked up, spotted Zire. His deformed mouth stretched into what an insane person would have called, an evil smile.

*Okay? Too boring?*

Sorry I made you sad. :(
And that was a good post!

Burns,

We keep on running into the night, the howls, growls, and shrieks of mutants all around us. It is terrifying, not knowing where anything is, and I keep running into things because all of the other noises are messing with my echolocation. I halt in a clearing, next to a pile of boulders.

"D'ya reckon they're hunting us?" says Daniel, the new guy.

"Who knows? There's so many of us, it could be anyone they're hunting," says Calli.

"Let's try not to find out who," I say, grimly

"You say there are a lot of us," I pipe up. "But really, are there? We're just a bunch of teenagers. As much as I hate to say it- do we have much a chance of doing it- repairing this entire planet? And even if we do it, who's to say it won't happen all over again?" There was a little more anger in the last sentence than I meant.

There was a moment of silence. Then the trees on the edge of the clearing began rustling.

"We better keep moving," Burns said.

*sorry I haven't posted much in a while. On vacation with a dead laptop and other tempermental computers. but I'll try!*

Calli

What Daniel said got me thinking. I hadn't originally even wanted to do this, it had been forced upon me. But was this all in vain, just so the normal humans would be able to kill the planet again? We're Saviors, I told myself. We'll beat them at their own game, no matter what. Even more than that, I was tired of running.

"Why don't we just face them? Aren't we supposed to kill them off anyway?" I complained, struggling to keep up with Burns and Daniel.

"Bad idea," Daniel said.

"I agree. We're got to stay alive right now. Fighting can come later," Burns added.

"Boys," I grumbled to myself. I suddenly got an idea and focused on the water around me. The air was thick with it and so was the ground. It must've rained some time before. The soles of my shoes turned to ice and instead of running, I was sliding. I found skating much easier than running, especially to keep up with the guys. It was much less tiring too.

"I guess that works," Burns mused.

"Yeah, it does. It works much better than running, I have to admit."

>>Hey Cirantha! I'd love to have another mutant on our side! But, could you make it a boy so we have an even number? I think it's a great idea you joinging us :) <<

Comm. Blackwood,

So, the tricky saviors thought they were smarter now. They didn't know anything about the enviroment though. Sure they were "cleaning it up", but there was nothing that connects you to enviroment like being an animal that had been mutated by the enviroment.

"Do you really want to waste your time killing a few measely Saviors?" I asked the pair. The look in their eyes certainly told me they did. I laughed and they giggled nervously.

"Well then," I said, "This will be our plan. We straight on attack them with a small group that is very expendable, just to alert them of our presence. Then, after they've killed a few, and think they're safe, we start playing head games with them. This is where, the quickest and stealthiest come in. Now, normally I wouldn't do a mission like this, but they've made it personal with the way they think we're horrible and hideous."

"How do you know they think that?" Azul asked.

"A bird mutant was flying above the group and was never spotted. She heard them yelling about how hideous we mutants are and she trails them still and reports in nightly on what they say," I replied.

"I didn't know how far stretched we are," Akira commented.

"I don't make idle plans, that's why I'm the leader," I retorted, "Now who's ready to thouroghly mess with their head?"

Azul smiled maliciously, running his toungue over his sharp teeth and Akira quivered in anticipation.

**this happened before the recent attack the Saviors are defending, but now this is the plan. The attack they are expiercing is the group of expendable mutants**

Korri

"Get behind me, Jacks." Korri murmured. The girl slowly moved until she was peeking around to look at the mutant entering the area where they stood. It was one of the sorry ones that got the crap-end of the mutation stick. Half of it's face looked melted, and one arm was elongated and similar to it's face in that it looked like melted wax.

Korri heard Jacks gasp behind him. He turned his head a little, not taking his eyes off the hunched mutant growling in front of him. "It's okay. Listen, you can control water, right? Or something like that?" Jacks nodded her eyes locked on the mutant as it bared sharp, pointed teeth. "There's a large cantine of freshwater in my pack. Use it."

Jacks used shaking hands to open Korri's pack and pull out what had to be a gallon of water.

"Ready?" Korri asked when he heard the cap unscrew.

"Y-yeah."

"Alright. You keep your distance, don't get close to it. Attack with the water and let me handle the rest. Okay?" A faint rippling noise from behind him answered his question. He turned his full attention to the mutant, who hissed at him and put itself into a defensive position. Korri ripped off his mask and rushed forward, plowing into the mutant and knocking it back into a tree trunk.
Llama 1:"Shh! Do you hear that? That's the sound of forgiveness."
Llama 2:"That's the sound of people drowning, Carl!"
Llama 1:"That is what forgiveness sounds like; screaming and then silence."

Burns,

As we run along, with Calli skating beside us, I contemplate our situation. We're hopelessly outnumbered, that much is obvious. Thinking about the mutants that might even now be stalking us, I wonder, are we really that different from each other? We actually don't know anything about the mutants. They could be extremely intelligent, sentient, even. And what are we? We're mutants. Both of us have been created, whether accidently or not, by humans. They've sent us to do their dirty work. My hands clench into fists just to think about it. What if we could communicate with the mutants, instead of killing them? Could we work together?
A rustling brings me to my senses. Even if I want to be all pacifist and try to work with the mutants, I'm pretty certain it will be hard to make them do the same.
And remember...A portkey can be any sort of harmless object...A football...or a dolphin.
