*Sorry RedBird, I keep forgetting. I'll try not to forget again :) Oh, and I'd take Jacks, especially since the author is dropping her character.*
I gave up telling people I hear voices. So now I talk to the voices instead.

Comm. Blackwood,

Aela rushed into my tent. Her usually calm eyes were bright and fiery and she was cooing softly. Her large bird wings were folded behind her back and she stood straight and tall and proud.

"Ma'am, I take great pleasure in reporting a female mutant has been separated from the main groups," Aela said. My mind whirred around this thought for a second. We could either a. kill her, or b. take her prisoner. The first option sounded oh so satisfying, but not very practical since we could draw information from her with the second way.

"Do you know what power she has?" I asked.

"After studying her extensively, I have discovered she's a water purifyer with a strong use of water in other ways too," Aela replied. She certainly had done a good job at not only spotting this girl out but figuring out her powers.

"Excellent job," I told her, "What do you think the best course of action for her is?" I was curious. Aela was bright and since my second-in-command wasn't here, I had no one to talk this over with.

"I saw we capture her and keep her until she is of no more use," she replied simply. I smiled. I always knew I had liked Aela.

"And who do you think would be best sent for this mission?" I asked her. She clucked her tongue nervously for a second but then decided to speak her mind.

"Well, since Akira is deathly afraid of water, you can't send her, although she is great at secretive missions. Still, we can't risk losing her, especially now that she's joined a group. Azul, likewise, has gone behind Savior lines and is diong a good job at telling me all the information I need to know, which I then carry to you. I could not do the job since I must be flying between the two groups and I can't fight extremely well. There's no one else I trust to have enough self restraint not to kill the Savior, so I would have to say that you, Commander, would be the best choice to get her," Aela said.

"Perfect," I replied, "That's exactly what I was thinking." I decided that by nightfall, I would have Aela lead me through the jungle and out into the wild where she was, avoiding all Savior groups, although it would be hard with their decent senses, and then capture this girl. Planning, complete.

*You know, just a reminder Silversun that I am with Jacks and so is another Savior, so it will be awesome. ;)

Akira

They turned around in the clearing, the mutant tree stopping just as it reached the end of the forest. Akira again nearly smiled, she knew she had to prove herself to these three that she could be trusted. She took a glance at Korri, the big male, and noticed that he was tensing. He was planning on fighting this tree also. And then there was Jacks, who was standing their fiercely. If she was a mutant, she would have been growled.

"Jacks," Akira hissed to her, "you remember how much your water had an affect on that other mutant, maybe it might be the same with this tree." Akira spoke this carefully, and stepped back away knowing that she couldn't afford to get touched by the purified water.

"It might work, but trees d flourish with water," Jacks seemed to say, watching the tree carefully. The tree was standing there, not fighting them yet, but probably strategizing, that is if the tree could actually think.

"Well, it is worth a try." Korri grumbled as he braced himself.

Akira watched in bewilderment as Jacks started to materialize the water, collecting the moisture from the air. It was beautiful and clear, sickening, Akira thought. The tree noticed this and lashed out, its branch whipping out towards them, but it was too late, Jacks released the water, and the tree started to burn as if the water was acidic. Akira knew it wasn't enough to kill the tree, but it would have to do.

'Mutant, play dead if you wish to keep your life.'

The tree fell over, twisted and turning, clawing at the world around it. But it fell over, crashing to the ground, where it stopped moving, appearing lifeless. Akira looked towards them smiling, as if she was sincerely happy that they had one the battle, so simply.

"Good job, Jacks." Akira laughed lightly.

"But it is almost as if you knew how to kill it," Korri said, eyes following her suspiciously. Akira knew it would be tricky to get him to trust her, but she knew it wasn't impossible.

Then Akira felt a pulse at her temple, the commander was coming this way. The commander was coming to her. She did not know what to feel; be scared if she did something wrong, or to feel proud because the commander had decided to come to her. But all she knew was the nagging feeling that the commander might ruin everything that she had worked for up until this moment.

Burns,

The rest of the night is uneventful, but Daniel, Calli, Shay, and I don't get any sleep. We're too worried about whatever is sleeping calmly next to us in the cave. Az-Chris, or just Az, as I've decided to call him is apparently unperturbed when we roughly shake him awake. He blinks in the dawn light, and I think I see a glint of silver, but when I look again, it disappears. Shay has been wary around him, but now that it's light, he growls. Maybe it's the cat ears that Calli says Az has, or maybe he's just a mutant out to kill us all. I think that it's the latter. I turn to everyone.

"Since it was dark last night, you guys probably haven't noticed, but I feel fairly certain that I un-mutated a bunch of the forest when we ran. Am I right?"

Calli and Daniel look around, "Yep," says Calli, "You've just left a bread-crumb trail for any old mutant," She looks at Az, "Can follow."

"I hope you're not implying anything," says Az cooly.

"Not at all," Calli replies sarcastically.

All of a sudden, an idea springs up in my head.

"Well, never mind. We can deal with that problem later. I happen to trust you, Az," Daniel and Calli stare at me, "And so, would you mind standing guard while we go and find some food?" Az nods.

"Guard what? You?"

"No. The cave. We might want to return to it. Just make sure that no nasty beasties go inside." I turn to the others, "Let's go get some food!"

We get our packs from the cave, and run into the forest. Once we're out of ear shot, Calli furiously turns on me.

"You TRUST him? Where did that come from, after last night?" she snarls.

"Whoa, slow down there, Calli," I say, "Don't you see what I just did? Now he thinks that we'll return, which, of course, we won't. He figures he's got us in the bag."

"And don't I?" says a cold voice from the trees.

**Just a warning in advance, this post will be extremely long, since I have to do lots of things**

Comm. Blackwood,

I was hiding in the woods. For two days, I had been scouting the group, which was larger than i had expected. I figured this girl, Jacks, would be alone, but a massive mutant named Korri and my own Akira were with her. I realized how dangerous it would be me to expose myself, but I had seen Akira looking around for me. Akira had to maintain their good grace, and Korri would be almost impossible for me to capture, but Jacks seemed to be just right to capture. I wasn't afraid of a water fight.

"I'm ready to go to sleep," Akira said, "Who wants first watch?" She was setting something up for me. Korri looked very tired, but Jacks was bubbly.

"I'm up for the job," she said. They made a very small fire and were close together. Jacks sat there until the others fell asleep and she then she stood up and started pacing. This would be my moment, but she was still too close to the others. I purposely stepped on a branch and the crack got her attention.

"Hello? Anyone there?" she called. I saw her think about waking up Korri, but she decided against it. Instead, she crept towards my hiding place, her eyes scanning the gnarled branches.

I unleashed my mutant gene and became a kind-of werewolf. Super speed and strength pulsed through my veins, and long fur covered my body. I burned as the changes took place, but I stood still.

"Hmmmm..." Jacks said. She was almost near me now, but I knew that once I went into action, I only had one chance. Akira's eyes flew open and looked over in the direction of Jacks. I then saw her close both eyes again. She knew what I was doing. Overhead, Aela was scouting for other groups.

She took a step into the forest, and was soon almost directly next to me. I un-sheathed my claws and in one fluid motion placed my paw/hands over her mouth. I gripped her tight, although she stuggled. She tried to cry out but I dug my claws into her face. Her blood stained my white fur, but I had to concentrate on holding her. There was no water for her to use, so I was in luck. I didn't like being doused, although I would have lived through it.

"Jacks?" I heard the big Savior Korri call out. My time was running low. In once quick motion I threw my elbow into her gut, which made her crumple over, and then I picked her up. I ran swiftly through the tree branches, ducking and dodging at a speed greater than the large Savior could run.

"JACKS!" he screamed. He didn't have any clue where she was though. Jacks was bleeding and dazed in my arms, too out of it to even try to fight back now.

When I was sure I was far enough away that he wouldn't be able to catch up, I let out an eerie howel that blasted through the quiet night.

Akira

And so it was done. Jacks was gone. She heard Korri screaming Jack's name and Akira jumped to her feet quickly looking around her as if she didn't know what was going on. Korri had started running into the forest, screaming louder and louder.

"Korri!" Akira yelled after him, and started running, trying her hardest to catch up to him. In his desperation and loss, there was a perfect oppotunity or her to get close to him, to get his trust. She cried out his name, hoping she sounded frantic enough, hoping she was convincing enough.

She found him, standing there leaning against a tree covering half of his face. "Korri, where is Jacks?"

"How am I supposed to know?" He growled, staring at Akira, as if he didn't want her around.

At that moment, a loud howl echoed through the forest and it made Akira stop in her tracks. It was the commander calling out her success. Jacks was gone, as good dead in the commanders hands, but she couldn't get preoccupied at the moment. Korri hear was going to be mourning a loss of a friend.

"We should head back to camp."

"No! we have to search for Jacks." his voice was gruff.

"Do you really think it would do much help if we got captured too?"

"Jacks couldn't have been captured. It wasn't supposed to happen that way."

"Well, even if she didn't get captured, she would expect us to be at camp." Akira felt herself reaching out to the massive Savior, to put her hand on his shoulder, but he flinched at her touch. "We need to go."

-----------------

I hope I got the characterization for Korri right. Guys, I was also thinking that maybe Akira and Korri should find the other Saviors so that all the characters can get pulled into this plot conflict. I think it might work out well if we did that.

**We're at the edge of the forest, I can add in the Thames and have us in some small wood outside London. Isn't that where most of us are, somewhere near London? It was in one of the earlier posts...*

Korri

He couldn't believe it. He'd failed in the one thing he was here to do. Jacks was gone and he didn't even see her get taken.

He clinched his fists as his eyes began to burn and he let his head slump forward. He watched the tears fall an form dark spots in the barren dirt.

A hand fell on his shoulder and Akira spoke. "Let's make camp, okay?"

There was no softness of empathy to her voice, and Korri merely shrugged of her hand before straightening. Jacks's capture instilled in him a feeling of responsibility for his last remaining team member. His gut rolled a little at the thought of protecting her. It just felt wrong, but he pushed away the sensation and turned to the woman. "Alright, let's go. But stick close to me."
Llama 1:"Shh! Do you hear that? That's the sound of forgiveness."
Llama 2:"That's the sound of people drowning, Carl!"
Llama 1:"That is what forgiveness sounds like; screaming and then silence."

Akira

She followed him, staying close, a hidden smile gracing her lips. He still didn't trust her, or like her for that matter, but he was protecting her. She was worth something to him it didn't matter how small. She was progressing. Akira felt herself looking around the forest, eyeing the different trees and sending out a warning to the ther mutants. Now wasn't a good time to attack.

The trees dwindled away and the crashing of slashing od water could be heard. Akira nearly stopped when she heard it. And soon enough it became apparent that it was quite a large river, but the water was polluted. She would be fine unless a water purifying Savior came by. For now, she had to maintain her composure when sitting so close to the water.

"If Jacks was here, she would have been able to get us fresh drinking water," Akira said, tone solemnn.

Korri didn't even say anything to that and just started making camp. Akira let out a soft sigh, and joined him, but she preoccupied herself with making the fire.

I am not sure what is going on, if you guys are near London or not, but I included a river. It could be the Thames, or it could just be some random river. It is really up to you guys.

Burns,

I whirl around, just Az jumps out of a tree. The forest is shifting around me, pushed my a huge wind and making it hard to locate anything by my echolocation. I'm totally disoriented, and that makes me feel weak. I sway on the spot, and Calli grips my arm, steadying me. I glare at the spot where I think Az is.

"I knew you weren't what you said you are," I snarl, "Mind telling us what this is all about?"

"Well, well. Aren't we the smart little Saviors," sneers Az, "Of course I'm a mutant. And my full name is Azul. You will now come with me back to base. Commander Blackwood will deal with you there."

Calli seems to swell with anger beside me. I groan inwardly. Now isn't the time to be mouthing off.

"The poor little kitty seems to be laboring under the delusion that we'll do everything that he says," she says sarcastically, "Who's gonna help you?"

Azul snickers, "Look around you I have complete control over these...um...trees." He falters.

I laugh, "You mean the ones all around us that, by my mere presence have become un-mutated. In other words, out of your control."

Azul snarls.
