*I love the Azul character, he's so.....like you.*

*People, it seems that no one is replying*

Kitrina,

Vague, out of focus pictures, flashed through the little girl's mind. The memories were from the deepest place of her mind. They were the darkest, deepest secrets the little girl held.

Pictures of another girl flashed through her eyes, the girl being tied down, held back by men in lab coats, her screams of anguish and pain when the men injected her, her body being transformed infront of her eyes.

With a scream of terror, Kit opened her eyes. The face of the girl swam infront of her eyes, till she blinked, and realized that tears were running down eyes.

"What is it?" the voice of Zire asked.

Kit didn't answer, but saw that she was being carried on the shoulder of Zire. Sobbing, she gently wiped away the tears, experiancing a small pain when she touched the gashes across her face.

Suddenly, the images of the horrific battle with the wolf man flashed across her mind, and again, flashed the painful images of the girl, her pain, anguish, hatred.

Zire looking at the little girl, gently sat her near a tree, making her lean on to it. Kit was looking down at her chest, sobbing.

"What's the matter?" Zire asked

Kit shook her head wiping her tears away.

A piercing head ache bore her down, as the images of her own mutation filled her head. The little girl being laid on a cold bed, having removed all her clothes, getting injected, and then.........and then........

*Okay?* :D

Akira

"I am an air purifier, though I am a bit different then the rest. I can only purify the air in great masses once I have the energy. Thats why you won't literally see the difference for now." She nearly hissed the last part of the sentence because she noticed the one eyeing the air around her. She didn't like it when they were observant. Though of course, if they needed persuading, she could easily use some well timed glamour. "I have been out here for a while. They had all told me there was some more of the saviors around."

The male, Korri, eyed her suspiciously as if he was contemplating her answer. Then something seemed to catch his attention, for his eyes widened lightly and he turned his head slightly.

"What about the mutants? We have been being attacked a couple times. It is dangerous to be wandering around without one of the protectors."

"Aye, indeed. I am not the best fighter myself, and I have been scared out of my wits for the last couple hours. You don't know how releaved I was when I saw you too. I was being followed by a couple mutants for a while now, they were hot on my trail. I don't know where they are now, but I believe we could take 'em with all three of us." Akira smiled. She called for a couple mutants close by, weak ones at that, to come and spring an attack. It pained her, knowing that these mutants would be ones that she infected herself, but she had to do what was necessary to make the plan work.

>>Great! Let's get this rolling again:)<<

Burns,

Just as I turn from listening to Calli and Daniel sleeping, Shay growls, and then something falls from the trees. I am instantly on my feet, loading my handgun. The dust settles, and to reveal, what I assume to be a Savior. At least I hope so. At least it's not attacking me. I hear it dusts itself off, and straighten up. Before I can say anything, it speaks.

"Nice to meet ya. I'm a Savior, like you guys," it says, in a friendly tone; a masculine voice. I raise an eye brow. Either this guy is the most awkward person I've ever met, or he's got something to hide. The commotion has awakened Daniel and Calli.

"What's going on?" mutters Calli, drowsily.

"Come on, you've gotta have better reflexes than that! What if I'd been something out to kill you? What would you have done?" says the new arrival, good-naturedly. I answer immediately.

"Then I would have blasted you to kingdom come," I say testily.

"But you're blind," says the newcomer, observantly.

"Really?" I say sarcastically, "I hadn't noticed."

*Wow, this is a lot for three days!*

Daniel

"But your blind," I hear someone say in a definite tone.

Half asleep still, I reply angrily that I'm not. I suddenly snapped out of my trance and sat up.

"Oh...Uh..." I begin to explain my reply, but nobody seemed to have heard me. Burns was in discussion with a cat-appearing character. I would have thought he was a mutant, but he seemed generally calm.

*Small post, but space is a little limited 'till Azul's excuse is revealed.*

Comm. Blackwood. --Sorry I haven't posted forever, even Christmas Break is insane for me.--

I sat alone in my tent. So far Aela, the bird mutant I used as a spy, had told me Akira and Azul were making incredible process joining the groups. I longed to be out there, doing the spy missions with them. I stood up from my chair and looked in the mirror. When I retracted my wolf claws, I looked extremely like a human, although my wolf eyes remained. I could create a story for that though...that I was a Savior that went wrong. I could pretend and joing the rest of them just like that...

But I was the leader. I had to remain here, running all the operations, making sure one day, we would control the world. It was just so blasted boring all of the time. I needed to kill. I needed to hunt. The wolf inside of me was begging to be let out, and I would certainly not mind letting it loose.

**I have a question are there any other Saviors that no one is playing? Like more than just the handful of your guys, that way I can have my character kill someone without it actually being someone?**

*Okay, Silver's getting bored, so would anyone volunteer to get captured? Or should we just give her a unused character to torture and kill, which is in its own way kinda impossible?*

Zire

The little girl was shivering and writhing on my back. It did not scare me, but it made me aware of the lack of time. I started to increase my pace. I seemed to be making no progress when suddenly I was face to face with a mutant.

I stopped and slowly took several steps back. I had to make a run for it. I didn't dare fight for if I could not kill the mutant soon then I would virtually have no strength to carry Kitrina. I turned around as fast as I dared and began to run, only to find myself surrounded by several mutants.

I looked around, tense and in waiting for anyone to attack. But the did not do so.

I remembered how the boy I had seen before had communicated with them so I said the only think I thought would save me time.

"Take me to your leader" I shouted, loud enough for them to hear.

The mutants seemed to hesitate, then finally slowly started walking towards what seemed to be North. They still managed to keep me in their circle by walking at same speeds. And so I followed, hoping this was not o the the death of us.

*Hope this is okay, RedBird?*

Azul

"But you're blind," I said observantly, though I knew very well that he was indeed very sharp even without his sight.

"Really?" the blind savior, "I hadn't noticed."

"Well you know what they say, The blinder the better" I said smiling innocently, then proceeding to scratch my head said "Or was is, the more the merrier"

The saviors, now having woken up completely, were staring at me very amused, surprised and suspiciously.

"Well?" I asked pretending to be surprised "Aren't you going to introduce yourselves?"

None of then replied. I looked at them from face to face.

"It's my ears right?" I asked sadly "You think I'm a mutant like the rest of them right?"

One of them nodded.

"Oh come on, It seems that the only things who have brains now are the mutants. They were the only entities that recognized me as a savior and gave me chase. Sheesh, whats gotten into you people" I sighed and then started to recite my elaborate tale "You might have not know but like us, these mutants were originally created by the same labs. They too were meant to protect the environment and help the savior, but unfortunately they decided against it and managed to escape. Our labs frantically searched for them but could not catch them due to their strength. So they decided to create us, a new race of saviors, we were created to help you in your process of cleaning the earth. We can sense what is happening around us and can warn those around us of any attacks close by. For instance I can tell you that there are about eight saviors around here, in groups of two. You've met seven of them briefly, but the eighth just ran into a water purifier and his teammate. Also the two air purifiers just got caught by a large group of mutants who are currently taking them to their hide out. Any questions brothers and sisters?"

I smiled again whilst licking my lips.

*Okay guys?*

>>I could get captured, if you want, Silversun:)<<

Burns,

I still can't figure this guy out. From the way he is speaking, I am sure that he IS indeed hiding something, but what it is, I don't know. He's smooth, sure, but he's weird. Really. And weird to me right now means be VERY careful.

"Right. Well, I guess that sort of makes sense," I say warily to the newcomer, "What was your name again?"

"I'll give you my name-" he begins, but I cut him off.

"Let's not bother with that crap," I say, annoyed, "Just give us your name, and then, maybe, we'll let you know who we are."

The new guy shuffles around sullenly before coughing and saying, "I'm Az-Chris."

He's made a blunder, I can tell, "Az-Chris? Wow, now that is a strange name. Care to explain why you didn't give me the real one?"

He sounds surprised, "No! That IS my real name. Az-Chris,"

I raise my eyebrow, "Whatever," my mind races. If he's giving a false name, which I highly suspect, then maybe we should play the same game.

"I'm Shiim," I say smoothly, "And the girl there is Nhimme. The other guy is Kal. The dog is nameless. There. Now that introductions are out of the way, why don't you, ah, Az-Chris get some sleep? We've been yapping too long. We might attract...ahhh...less savory company," I look pointedly at Az-Chris, or whatever he was really called.

**I haven't dropped Korri. I was waiting for Jacks to post, but I suppose I'll go ahead.**

Korri

"I don't know where they are now, but I believe we could take 'em with all three of us." Akira said.

Not a minute later, a pair of mutants burst from the brush behind Akira. "Look out!" Korri shouted rushing forward. He grabbed Akira's arm and pirouetted her behind him, his protective instincts driving out any suspicions he had about her. He grabbed the closest mutant by the throat and threw it into a tree. Wood splintered as the mutants body left a crater in the trunk.

A low moan sounded from the tree and a mouth appeared in the trunk where the mutant had hit. A cluster of twisted branches reached down and grabbed the mutant from where it lay and snapped it's spine before tossing it farther into the woods.

"Oh, shit!" Korri turned and polted away from the tree, dragging Akira with him. Their little posse couldn't handle the flora. Not without a flamethrower or a chainsaw. Suddenly the roots of the tree burst from the ground and became spiderlike appendages. The thing scuttled forward, narrowly trampling the other mutant.

"It can move?!" Jacks asked.

"It can chase us, so let's go!" Korri yelled. Jacks and Akira raced off, and Korri was close on their heels. He skidded to a halt near the make-shift "cave", and thrust his arms into the hole, grabbing their supplies. He darted out of the way just as a tangled limb slammed into the ground where he'd been standing. "Run!" He yelled as he caught up to the two females.

**That's brilliant, Emi. ;)

Akira

The thundering and crashing of the giant mutant tree made her feel wild with exhileration. Oh, how she just wished the tree would catch up to them and rip the two saviors to shreds. She kept looking over her shoulder at the tree, beckoning it to keep coming after them. She nearly smiled, but she knew that if she did, it would seem extremely odd in the situation.

"There has got to be a way to kill that thing!" Akira yelled at them, nearly stumbling in the ferns but regained herself. She felt the life stirring in the dirt. The other trees were being woken from their slumber. She knew they would be tempered, an aspect she knew only the commander could deal with. She kept repeating in her mind over and over soothing words, trying to get the rest of the trees to calm down.

"I think I might have a lighter in my bag!" Jacks yelled as it seemed to just dawn on her.

"Don't!" Akira felt herself instinctively. "The other mutated plants would get angered because of the fire. Our only hope is probably to get out of the forest."

"Well that's easy to say," the words were spoken is a low murmur so Akira couldn't tell which one of them said that. But she felt herself becoming fairly tired because of all this running. She wasn't as fast, or strong as the others unfortunately, and lets just say endurance wasn't her forte. Looking quickly to her right, she noticed the trees were becoming farther and farther apart, the ferns were becoming smaller. It seemed there was the end of the forest, or at least a small clearing. Enough room to fight the tree at least, and get it away from the others.

"This way!" Akira yelled, turning abruptly and started running to the sparser area of trees, the mutant one thundering behind them.

*Sorry I haven't posted in... awhile. I've got a lot going on, and I have to share a computer, and family stuff, and boring crap like that :P*

Calli

Shiim, Nhimme and Kal?
I thought, struggling to commit the names to memory as well as wondering what on this mutated earth possessed Burns to come up with such... unique names.

Watching the rest of the group, I realized I wasn't the only one unable to go to sleep. Burns wasn't taking his eyes of that Az-Chris guy, which I was pretty certain couldn't be his real name. Maybe he just slipped up, going by a nickname or middle name he didn't usually use. As unlikely as it seemed that he was friendly and his story was true, I didn't know the motives of the humans who mutated us, nor did I even know how many different types of us there were. Details weren't something I usually paid attention to, even when I knew I'd regret it later if I didn't. But I wouldn't forget anything about this suspicious new-comer.

Daniel settled back and appeared to be pretending to sleep, but Burns was literally staring this stranger down. I continued glancing between my two male companions and the newcomer (who was, in my book, no where near trustworthy). Maybe that was just me being suspicious, but who could blame me?

I started to say something, but thought better of it and pulled my knees to my chest, resting my head on top. This was going to be another long, sleepless night. And something told me it wouldn't be the last for a while.

*Okay?*
*Sorry for the crappy post, but I'm out of ideas for now, sorry guys. Ooh, but I am willing to let my character get captured. It could be fun! *

>>>Well, we can't ALL get captured, can we? I guess I'll just choose someone at random, if that's all right with everyone=D<<<
*Oh, and AddictionToFiction, remember that Burns can't exactly watch anything.*
Burns,

I sense that Calli is awake and alert, too. I move over beside her, knowing that Az-Chris is completely asleep.

"What d'ya make of all this?" I whisper to her. She sighs.

"I just don't know, Burns. He could be telling the truth, but..."

"But you just don't think so," I finish for her.

"Yes. Quite frankly, I think that we should lose him, first opportunity," she says.

"I agree. Do you think Daniel is still awake?" I ask.

"Yes, I do," says another voice, in my ear. I don't react.

"Thanks, Daniel," I say, annoyed. Calli giggles quietly, "Assuming that you just heard everything we said, what do you think of this...Az-Chris?"

"I think he's a damned mutant and a god-awful actor," Daniel says with conviction.

"Well, that settles that," I say, "We lose him, as quickly as possible."
