The Saviors

Silversun - I hope Redbird agrees with me, but maybe you can be the mastermind enemy of all saviors. Like the leader of the mutants. What do you think?

Firestalker - There's no way on Earth I'm gonna let you leave my character behind, even after you cared for her.

*Like I said, I was depressed, so most likely I wont leave anyone *

Silversun: It's plenty alright if you join! And, I don't know what you would like, but I like Chirantha's idea. If you don't like it, though, it'll be alright if you're just the freaky mutant Savior.

Burns,

The girl and I run through what is left of the clearing. Shay attacks any mutant that gets to close for comfort, and his bite always finds its mark. I keep my handgun at the ready, swiveling the muzzle from side to side. The girl keeps up with me effortlessly, I can tell. She seems pretty calm for just almost being strangled.

"Okay, since it looks like we're fighting together, what's your name?" I query, knowing that this is not the best time for that question, but that it will make things easier. The girl hesitates.

"Calli," she says, "What's yours?"

"Ithycus," I reply, "But you can just call me Burns,"

**Hey, sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been busy, but I'll post later tonight!**

I'm going to be on vacation for a while...Don't know when I'll be able to get on YWS. Would someone else like to post for Burns. No one has to, but I not be able to, so...

**RedBird - didn't we already introduce the characters? I'm a little confused! I'm under the impression Chirantha has her with Kit, and you have her with Burns. Who is she with!?**
*Sorry about not posting, I was in the car, literally ALL day yesterday, and this is the first chance I've had to post. And since I'm confused, I think I'll wait until I'm unconfused. Sorry!*

I was under the impression that JACKS was with Kit, not Calli, but I'll check...

*I don't know where I was but Jacks is going to go check on Kit*

Jacks-

I suprised myself with the ice path. After taking out a mutant, again to my suprise, I looked back. Kitrini did something amazing with blue and other sparks flying out of her hands, but then she collapse and vommited.

I ran back to her and turned her over. She was out cold. I lifted her head up and wiped off her mouth with my sleeve. Another boy ran up to us and knelt down beside her.

"What happened?" He asked.

"I don't know, I guess she just used to much energy," I replied.

"Let's get her off to the side, somewhere safe." He picked her up.

*hope that's okay.*

**I'm not sure how to re-enter my character. If someone could include Korri, that would be wonderful! =)**

*I'm sorry for not posting myself, but I won't be able to until either Rorylegend or Firestalker writes about my character waking up.*

*To all saviors, the last of the remaining mutants was taken down by Kitrina (For the time being that is) but you'll should see a massive army of them marching towards you after a while. That's the time you divide and run (Not divide and conquer )I thought of this so as not to make this storybook a 'battles-only' one. What do you think saviors?*

*And it's Kitrina Rorylegend, not Kitrini. *

**Hey, I would be the leader of the bad mutants, but then no one would really talk to me, and I obviously can't kill anyone off, so I ust don't know how well that'd work out unless more people joined. But if that's what you guys want, I can. haha**

*:sigh: okay everyone who's confused. Kitrina, Zire and Jack have now gone a little away from the group to a nearby tree to tend to Kitrina. As Emi wants her character to be re entered by someone I'll do it if no one has any objection, got it people??!*

Zire

I lifted Kitrina up with the help of my new ally and carried her to a nearby tree.

As we tended to her I couldn't help but ask "So your the one Kitrina saved?"

The young woman, clearly older than me nodded, not taking her eyes off Kitrina, like me.

Then suddenly taking a deep breath and waking with a start Kitrina looked around at our surprised faces.

"What's up with you guys?" She asked smiling amused.

"We..."I heard someone approaching and turned around.

A well built man, tanned and bald walked up to us.

"Is she alright?" the man asked.

I looked at him, studying him from head to foot as I do to everyone.

"Yes" Kitrina replied confidently then added "I'm Kitrina, and you are?"

"I'm Korri" he replied and looked at me.

"Zire" I simply replied still studying him.

"And I'm Jacks" replied the Woman.

I gave her a quick quizzical look. She just shrugged and smiled.

And then the feeling of breathing took over most of my mind.

I looked and Kitrina, she too had sensed it. There was a large force of mutants coming in our direction. I knew I would have had to run.

*Is this okay with everyone? Can we continue now? God I hate when people suddenly stop posting in a storybook, I've got experience on storybooks, if one person stops posting almost everyone else follows. So please don't stop posting!!!*

*I second what Firestalker said, yes, all of it.*

Kitrina,

The little girl stood up slowly, still recovering from her last blackout. But, weakness is something that should not be there, atleast, not right now.

"Everyone, we have to divide into groups, and flee. I think the mutants have called in reinforcements." Zire suddenly yelled.

The saviors looked around at him.

"NOW!!" He bellowed.

He then, looked right at Kit.

"We'll have to go togethor. They won't find us if we go now." He whispered, almost soothingly.

Kit nodded, but was still feeling weak to even walk.

Zire took hold of her from her waist.

"I'll come with you." The women named Jacks said, running upto them.

"No, it's better to have groups of two only. The smaller the group, the harder it will be for them to find us." Zire replied.

The women seemed taken back at his relpy, but then nodded curtly.

"Take care of her." She said, her voice warm.

Zire nodded and led Kit away from the group and into the forest.

The world before the little girl's eyes was spinning. Her knees were threatning to fold beneath her. Her stomach was churning again and she was feeling oddly cold. She clung to Zire body.

*Okay?*

*Post everyone!!*

*Sorry! I knew it was Kitrina I said it right in my head, I just wrote it wrong.*

Jacks-

The boy, Zire, departed with Kit. He didn't want me to go along. It might have been his strategy but I just got the feeling he didn't like me, or trust me, or both.

I turned to the well built man next to me, "Um Korri right?"

He nodded. I stuck my hand out, "Jacks!" He didn't shake my hand, "Right," I said nodding.

"We can't stay here," he replied looking around.

"So, is it alright if I go along with you then? I won't be a bother."

*Although, I wrote Zire not wanting Jacks to come, it was a strategy okay? No hard feelings*

Kitrina,

She was feeling weaker and colder by the second. She could actually feel her heart beat in her ears, throbbing rapidly. Her head was aching.

She couldn't understand why she was feeling this way. Never had she felt this weak in her entire life.

The little girl closed her eyes, and tried to remember anything that might have triggered this feeling. The answer came in an instant. She saw clearly in her mind's eye, a mutant sending a silver beam at her when she was trying to save the women named 'Jacks.' This silver beam had squarely on her chest, sinking into her body.

She opened her eyes, and saw that Zire had taken her a to a massive tree.

"We should be safe up this tree, for the moment. The dusk's approaching." Zire said, gazing up at the tree.

He then looked at Kit as she made no answer.

"Are you okay? You look pale" He asked, a faint sign of concern going over his emotionless face.

"I feel weak and cold." She whispered, her voice faint.

Kit saw Zire touching her forehead with back of his hand. It felt cold. Her temples were now aching.

"You have fever. High fever." He replied.

He then, guided Kit to the trunk of the tree and made her sit there.

"Stay here. I'll come back" He assured, to Kit.

"Where....are you going" Kit asked, looking both weak and scared.

"I have to gather some wood," When Kit looked quizzically at him, he elaborated, and pointed up at the tree branches, "Tree house"
