The Saviors

*Yeah, but RedBird doesn't want me to make another mutant, so.....*

*Wait, is Korri and Jacks fighting the same mutant we were going to fight?*

Kitrina,

The hideous mutant smiled evily, before launching straight up the tree bark. Its long finger nails clung to the tree, as he jumped up again, catching one of the lower branches.

"Kit, get ready. This...thing.....fights as good as a grizzly bear." Zire said, standing up.

Kitrina was still fighting the horror of seeing the mutant, and didn't even want to fight the thing it self.

Zire was doing something. He was twirling his arms around, and Kit heard a distance roar of screaming wind. She also heard, Zire muttering strange words, almost in a perfect rhythm with the sound of wind.

At that same moment, the mutant, jumped straight up with a wolfish howl.

In Kit's eyes, everything slowed. The mutilated mutant in mid-air, still smiling evily. And Zire, who was directly infront of him, was still doing a rhythmic movement. His eyes were growing silver.

Just as the mutant took one swipe at Zire, he stopped twirling his hands, and pointed both his hands at the mutant.

At once, the distant sound of wind, came near. Kit looked back at the time spot a tidal wave of wind come ravaging across the forest. Wind, move ferocious than that of a tornedo, crashed throught the forest, and hit squarely on the mutant. The airborn mutant was smashed by the wind, and was slammed on a nearby tree.

He fell down with crunching sound, as the howling wind stopped. All around them, trees have fallen or were hanging by vines. The forest floor was littered with leaves.

Zire looked back at Kit, to see her gaping at him, her eyes wide as saucers.

"That was awesome" She said, still clinging on to a branch to stop her self getting blown away.

**Nah, it's a different one.**

Jacks

The mutant hit the tree trunk and I immediatly used my powers to pull about half of the water out of the canteen and it hovered in the air. Korri lunged at the mutant so I hesitated. The water began to quiver and bubble in the air as I heated it up, really heated it up.

"Korri, get out of the way," I said and Korri stepped back. When he was out of the way I threw the scalding water at the mutant. It sizzled against the mutant's skin and it let out a cry. Was it melting a little? Or was that just the illusion of it's face? I couldn't tell.

**Because the attacks were after the conversation, I am just going to tell Korri and Jacks, that my character was observing your battle until the water came in and thats when she started to get panicky.

Akira

She felt herself wanting to run, to disappear quickly into the woods. She was invisible, and yet she still felt like they could see her. One of the mutants, one of them that she had converted herself was writhing in pain in front of her, water melting the side of its face. The same water which would kill her if she just touched it. It would reveal who she really was. She felt herself hiss under her breath and start to step back into the bush.

The girl, the one he had called Jacks heard her footsteps, and turned her head quickly, and stood there staring at her. The other one, the male, the water-weilder was preoccupied with the mutant who was melting under the water.

Akira hissed and when the girl turned to tell the boy something, she fell back deeper into the forest so that she would not be seen. Though it was guarenteed that they would hear the noise.

There was a few things that she could do, one was to simply reveal herself, leave her fate into their hands, or kill them now, running by and slicing their throats. Though here they were, weilding water. And her orders too were to play mind games, not kill them, yet.

She morphed into a human, a normal person, giving them free reign to what they saw and slipped through the brush and pulled out a dagger, swiftly killing her mutant, putting it out of its misery. One of her own children. Turning back to face them, she smiled and tried to give the expression of relief, and not morbid hatred.

"Well, ain't this a sight to behold. More of us."

*Uhh.....Incognito, The girl is called Jacks and the boy is called Korri, not the other way around. I know gets a little confusing with the names.

Kitrina,

The fallen mutant stood up once more, his face was a mask of hatred at Zire. The moonlight making this image twice as horrifying as it truly was.

Kit knew that she had to do something or Zire would be killed.

She raised her hands into the air. Particles of bluish colour accelerated into her hand until they were glowing like neon lights.

Just as the wolf man lauched himself off the ground, Kitrina pointed her hands at him. Two bluish energy beams flew off her hands and hit the mutant on the chest, knocking him onto the ground.

At once, Kit jumped from the tree, and cartwheeled in mid-air. She landed on the floor of forest, near the fallen wolf man, who was now getting back up, snarling at Kit.

Zire groaned as Kit got into a fighting stance.

The wolf man jumped out at Kit. Timing it, she elbowed the mutant on his nose, and it broke on the human side of his face. Blood ran down his face, as the wolf man whimpered, and backed away a bit.

Kit, taking the chance, launched into a volley of punches, kicks, chops and uppercuts.

Whatever doubts Zire had in his mind about Kit not being able to fight, vanished as the little girl gave blow after blow at the Wolf man.

Sweat was again damping her armpits, as she fought and blocked the mutant.

She was about to signal Zire, not to intervene when the mutant, mustering all his strength, swiped at the head of the little girl.

It missed her head, but caught her on the side of her face. The blow lifted the little girl off her feat and thrown away, landing face down on the floor of forest.

*Okay?*

*Guys, sorry for not posting for a while, was practicing the piano for a talent show, . Will try my best to post each day (And most probably will too as I can't stand living without YWS )*

*Incognito and Silver - I don't get what's just taken place, did Azul and Akira separate and go on different ways or are they still hunting together? I'm assuming they seperated, so I'll go with that plot k, inform me if my post is wrong *

Zire

I looked horrified as Kitrina was thrown away, landing on the forest floor nearby. I hurried to where she lay and slowly turned her body upwards.

The place where the mutant had hit her had broken through her skin, wounding it greatly. It was now bleeding greatly and Kitrina was yet again unconscious. Before I could rip a part of my shirt to stop the bleeding, I found myself being crushed between two huge muscular arms. I struggled to breath and escape the deadly clutches of the mutant, but could not do so.

Unable to break free from the arms of the mutant I decided to use it to my own advantage. I stopped struggling and tried to get both my feet on the ground. Having achieved this after a few minutes, I used what strength I had left in me to lift the Mutant off its feet before bending forwards and falling on top of the mutant, temporarily surprising it and enabling me to ply free of its now weak grasp.

I sighed in relief as the mutant groaned. Then, I started punching him behind his neck,. waiting till one of my punches rendered him unconscious. It took only a few blows before the mutant was unconscious. I then hurried to Kitrina, who had by now lost a considerable amount of blood and check her pulse as I ripped one of my long sleeves to tie around her lower face, where the wound was most pronounced and deadly. We saviors had higher metabolic and healing rates than normal humans. Therefore I knew Kitrina would recover soon, but that did not mean we were immune to pain and wounds. I sighed as I finished attending to Kitrina. It seemed that I was sighing a lot these days.

I crawled back to the mutant that still lay unconscious and proceeded to tying him up with what little rope I had in my backpack. Once the mutant was tied up and secure I crawled back to Kitrina and lay back on a tree, keeping her close to me, safe for the time being.

We had both exhausted ourselves soon because we had not planned of ever encountering an attack so soon. We were now too tired to venture further or even climb a tree. I too was t the verge of falling asleep, but knowing I could not fall asleep without someone else being awake, I rested my eyes while keeping my mind and ears wide open, sacrificing the mortal pleasures of sleep for our safety.

*Guys I just realized that almost none of us mentioned anything about supplies that we should have mentioned at the beginning, I'm just going to assume that I've brought a backpack with a little supplies, if its okay with you guys, hmm?*

Azul

I yawned while walking through the forest lethargically, doing nothing in particular. With no one to talk to and no one to kill I was very bored. I yawned before closing my eyes and resuming my walk through the forest.

It was then that I heard the sound of a fight nearby. Sounds of terror and of anger. I smiled, licking my lips before running towards the direction of the sound. Unfortunately once I got there, I was very angry. The same mutant I had ordered not to fight the saviors was now deep in combat with the same savior that had been spying with me before. I studied the scene. Indeed it would have been a great battle if I fought these two saviors, both air purifiers, but they didn't seem my type. I decided that I would leave them to be terminated by Akira, she was much better at killing air purifiers than water purifiers.

But first I had to get my fellow mutant out of this mess before he was thwarted by this savior. I was about to create a diversion, large enough for my kinsman to escape, without revealing myself to them but the air purifier managed to render the wolf-man unconscious before I could do so.

I hissed to myself angrily before thinking of another plan to work with. Time passed by as my mind went through numerous strategies, and then to my great convenience and happiness, the savior decided to sleep, lying on tree with his friend close to him. I smiled before jumping onto the ground silently and making my was to where my fellow mutant lay, still unconscious.

I commenced the arduous task of pulling the mutant who weighed at least three times my weight out of the opening and into the dark depths of the forest.

"And who do you think you are?" the voice of what seemed to be the savior who had tied my friend asked.

I looked up, putting on my most innocent face and smiling in a very cat like way.

"I think I'm the person who's pulling this disobedient wolfy into the forest of of your grasp right under your nose" I replied still smiling innocently.

The savior, who was clearly taken aback at my straightforward answer took a few minutes to reply.

"I don't think you'll be able to complete you task kitty" he replied gritting his teeth as he put an effort to stand up.

This made me greatly angry, but I managed to hold my calm composure. I sighed before making a break for the safer regions of the forest while pulling the wolf man with me. But just as I had foreseen, the savior stood up and commenced in calling the wind to attack me.

My mind started to consider all possibilities. If I let the mutant go, he would obviously give any details of us to the saviors. If I killed the saviors, Commander would be very mad and I would not have fun with these two overworked insects. So I did the only thing I could have done. I killed my fellow mutant by jumping on his neck, crushing his neck and breaking his spinal cord, instantly killing him.

"Now look what you've made me do" I sighed nonchalantly to the savior before running out of sight.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I had resumed my walking a few minutes earlier, just after sending a message to the Commander about my decision to kill the mutant. I few minutes later a bird mutant landed near me to relay the reply from the commander. It seemed that Akira too had killed on of her fellow mutants in an attempt to gain the trust of the saviors around her. I grinned, that was very like her. Also, it seemed that there were three other saviors near my position. The commander wished for me to play with them without hurting them.

"Ahh! Mind games Commander?" I said to myself, whilst licking my sharp teeth and purring "As You wish Commander!"

*Okay guys, I know its long, but hey, the longer the better *

*Oh yeah by the way there's fifteen minutes to midnight a.k.a Christmas!!!

Burns,

Thoughts of working with the mutants, of going against the will of the humans rush through my head, and we keep running. I can tell that both Calli and Daniel are getting tired, even though they're holding up very well. All of the eyeholes on our masks are fogged up from the sweat evaporating off of our brows, and Shay is panting heavily. I call for us to stop in a little clearing, next to a pile of huge boulders.

"I think we can stop for a little while, guys," I gasp. The others nod, and we approach the boulders, looking for a cave of some sort. We find a little one, with barely enough room for all of us, but it will do. We settle down, hoping that we'll get at least a few hours of rest.

"I'll stay up and watch," I say quietly to the others, "You guys get some sleep."

I didn't really need to say that. They are already nodding off, slumped against the rock walls. I smile at them, and scratch Shay behind the ears. There could be worst people to be stuck with.

*I couldn't wish you all yesterday, so Merry Christmas guys.

Korri

Watching the woman carefully, Korri moved over to stand in front of Jacks. Something was weird about her, but he couldn't put his finger on it.

"Who are you?" He asked, pulling his mask back over his face.

"My name is Akira." She said. Korri noticed she was missing a mask, but he knew some Saviors could purify the air around them, though he couldn't see the air around her clearing any.

"Hello, Akira." Jacks said, stepping around him. "I'm Jacks, and the big guy is Korri."

"Lovely to meet you." Akira said.

"So, what kind of power do you have?" Jacks asked.

*I think that mutant girl named Akira already killed the mutant you were battling, Emi. The mutant is infront of you, bearing the appearance of a normal human, and it's upto you to do whatever you feel necessary.*

*Okay, I'll post, since no-one is posting*

Kitrina,

The little girl's world was drifting in and out of black delirium. Pain was slicing through her face, and a warm liquid was flowing down her cheek. Her eyes closed, she raised a trembling hand weakly, and touched the right side of her face.

She moaned weakly, as waves of white hot pain erupted over her face. Long gashes were running sideways all over the right side of her face. She felt like throwing up as the pain grew more powerful.

She opened her eyes weakly, and saw vague shapes through her blurred vision. She blinked in hope of clearing her eye sight, but only a searing pain came over her right eye. Kit saw the blurred image of Zire, and yearned for him. But she saw another figure, at more distance. She couldn't see it properly, but she could swear the figure had pointed ears.

Then the pain closed in again, as she drifted off to unconsciousnous.

*They are not supposed to be fighting anyone at the moment. Jacks and Korri are seeing a mutant named Akira.........just read Incognito's last post.

Zire

I opened my eyes and frantically stood up. I had fallen asleep, something I had previously swore not to do.

I guess my fatigue got the better of me. I thought as I looked around for any changes in the surrounding atmosphere.

There were none and so I sighed, relieved, and looked at Kitrina. She had grown extremely pale and seemed very ill.

I frantically rushed to her and kept my hand on her forehead. The heat that radiated from her forehead was instantly picked up by my hand.

She had a very high fever and I needed to do something about it if she was going to live. i frowned, why had she come with me in the first place? It was her own fault that she had got wounded, and yet she lay there, as innocent as a bird. I frowned again. This was all against my training, I was trained to show no emotion to those who I had just met, but she was one of my kind, she and I wee two of a kind, unique and unlike all others. Maybe that was why I felt that it was my duty to protect her. Maybe that was why I knew I had to get help without leaving her alone.

I sighed and then took what I could of the surrounding, careful not to make to much sound. Then after taking what I would, I slowly heaved Kitrina onto my back and slowly made my way through the forest, hoping to find one of the groups of saviors we had previously encountered.

Azul

This was so fun, stalking saviors and watching their every move. They did not know that I was constantly aware of what they said and what they did. My... talents certainly helped me with spying.

And yet it was also boring, the Commander had clearly said that we were to gather as much information about all saviors before eliminating our targets, Akira knew this too, she was also probably blending in with the saviors against her instincts to kill on sight.

I jumped to another tree, almost directly above the saviors and looked directly down. Unfortunately I should have made sure that I was on a sturdy branch, for an instant later, I was crashing down towards the three Saviors and a dog.

I landed on one of them. I jumped off him or her and brushed away the dirt from my clothes as the saviors and dog looked at me bewildered. Once clean I extended my hand and said friendlily "Nice to meet ya, I'm Azul, a savior like you guys".

I tilted my head slightly to a side and smiled to make me look more innocent. They were no fools, but my mind had already invented a very convincing story about me being on their side. And I could prove it to them too. I licked my lips playfully.
