*May I make a small suggestion? Wouldn't it be better to be separated for the time being until we meet afterwards. When we have atleast defeated some enemies. Because, this much of a large group can easily destroy anyone on their path without an effort. I like the idea of small teams scattered around, and then half-way through, meeting the others. What do you think?*

Kitrina

She had run half-way to the commotion, when she saw that Zire had stopped and had hidden himself behind a large tree. After a split-second, she quietly made it back to him.

"What's wrong? Those people look like us. Maybe they are friendly."She said to Zire, brightly

"No, I don't think I want to trust these people yet. Let's wait and see" He replied, his voice showing no emotion or concern.

Kitrina pouted and then inclined her head to one side and put her hands on her hips, looking exasperated.

"What?" He asked. He clearly couldn't understand any emotions at all.

"Nothing" She rolled her eyes and then stood by him, hidden behind the tree, gazing at the commotion.
Warden: "If you want to lead, all you have to do is ask."
Alistair: "What? Lead? Me? No, no, no. No leading. Bad things happen when I lead. We get lost, people die, and the next thing you know I'm stranded somewhere without any pants."

*Well I'm okay but the point is the other team is anyway big enough to defeat almost anything. Which means they have to separate too, as we could be easily beaten as we are almost very vulnerable. Not to mention, What do we do now? What do you say RedBird?*

I wasn't meaning only about us two. I was talking about all of us.

I think you're right. How 'bout we let some of the mutated humans come in on the scene, which could create mass confusion, thereby separating everyone into small groups. Hmmm?

I was unable to post these past two days, but I agree that the group should be split up. Maybe in half? That way each group has at least on defender with it. What do you guys think?
Llama 1:"Shh! Do you hear that? That's the sound of forgiveness."

I agree. It'd make things WAY more interesting. Let's split the groups up into smaller groups. :)
I gave up telling people I hear voices. So now I talk to the voices instead.

Kitrina and Zire are one group as we have not joined your group before. Deal?

Kitrina,

She couldn't understand Zire's concern about not joining the group. They seemed friendly, and seemed almost the same as they were. But she gave Zire the benefit of the doubt.

"I hear something" Zire suddenly whispered, staring towards the dark path through the forest from which they came.

Kitrina felt fear grip her tiny heart when she heard this. Trembling, she also gazed out at the dark abyss of the forest, straining to see something beyond the darkness. The only thing she could make out was a blurry heat haze over the path.

"Kitrina, I think we should climb the tree and hide" Zire whispered, his voice showed a warning.

She looked alarmed and then looked up at the tree. Seeing the height of the tree, she looked at Zire and shook her head.

"Trust me, we don't have much time" He urged.

Reluctantly, she started climbing, keeping her legs awkwardly on a few jutting pieces of the tree bark and hoping that Zire wouldn't look up her dress.

When she reached the branches, she was covered in sweat. Pulling herself up, she sat on one of the branches, feeling faint as she saw the height.

Zire also sat on an adjoining branch, and gazed out at the forest path.

*I fourth it, and fifth it :P* *Deal C, what about the others?*

Zire

"So Kitrina, what do you think?" I asked randomly.

"About what?" She replied still tired.

"Can we," I gestured to the rest of the Saviors below "really save the world?"

She opened her mouth to reply but suddenly turned towards the saviors, he whole body tense, her eyes darting around the forest. She had finally sensed it. I smelled the air and confirmed my doubts. Something was approaching, but not the normal human. This was something different. An average human takes in approximately four to five liters of air in one breath. But in this case the... creatures that approached us took in much more air and exhaled less Carbon Dioxide and more oxygen. It was as if the respiratory system had turned upside down, adapting to the present environment.

I looked at the other Saviors, would they sense these new creatures? Would they need our help?

I looked at Kitrina, "Can you fight?" I asked.

I was a stupid question. Of course she could fight, all savors could, but I waited for an answer anyway.

She smiled, "You already know the answer" She replied.

"Then let us see what really is about to happen" I said while lowering my voice.

*Okay everyone?*

*Maybe to make an initial split someone from that big group could come help out my character? Also if this isn't a good take on the mutated humans just let me know.*

Jacks-

The silence pressed against my ears and made them ring. I didn't want to watch the Arcs leave so I closed my eyes. The humming of engines faded and soon...nothing. The water lapped against my thighs, reminding me I was still alive and I still had a job to do. It didn't feel like there was much for me in this job. Me and whoever else there was out there were supposed to clean up the world that all the humans messed up.

I opened my eyes and stared down at the now crystal clear water. The forrest around me had no movement, no life. The lush green I could barely remember from my early childhood was only an echo. What would happen after I sucked all the pollution from the water into my body? Would it kill me?

I couldn't think about that, I could only move on until I found more water to clean, hopefully I would run into a savior to keep my safe. Maybe I could find someone to talk to. If I couldn't convince mysyelf I wasn't afraid then maybe I could convince someone else. Fake it until you make it, right?

I felt a movement behind me. There was no cool breeze to sweep through the trees, there were no trees, just dead, black, stalks. I knew what it had to be, it had to be one of them.

Mutated humans aren't like what you would picture in a movie, all bloody and drooly like zombies. I'm not even sure if they all look the same or if they are unique, but they're pretty. How else woudl they catch their prey? They aren't completely stupid either. All the chemicals and other crap turned them into something deadly. Nuclear weapons at their best...or worst. They don't run, or drag themselves along the ground, they almost glide. And they move so fast. Scary fast.

"Now would be a nice time for a savior," I muttered to myself, "God, are you there?" I waited, "No, of course not." I dipped my hand into the water, he couldn't hide there the buggar. I grasped a cool, smooth stick. It was thick enough to knock someone out, but this was a something. "Come out come out wherever you are!" I called then muttered, "you little shit."

*So that's open for anyone to jump in!*
All you need is 20 seconds of insane courage, and I promise you something great will come of it.

Kitrina,

Although, she answered confidently that she could fight, her little body was shaking. She knew who was gonna come, ravaging through the forest at them. A full scale army of mutant humans. Sweat was sliding down her armpits and palms.

"There" Zire whispered, pointing towards the edge of the road

A heat haze with a humanoid shape had appeared. It was making it's way to the group of saviors.

"What is that?" The little girl asked.

Zire didn't answer.

Suddenly the heat haze, dropped down, to reveal beautiful teenage girl in a black leather full body suit that came upto her neck. The only thing strange about her was that her eyes glowed a bright silver and had no pupils.

The moment she became visible, she slammed down her fist onto the ground.

Suddenly, every sound became muted or distant. Great cracks appeared on the surface around her fist, growing rapidly.

Just as the circle of cracks got about a meter in radius, the girl pulled out her fist and in lightning speed made a punching move at the group of saviors.

The sound effect became normal just as the massive wave of blue and silver light burst out of the girl's fist and sped towards the group of saviors. This whole incident took only about 10 seconds.

*I hope everyone agrees with this*

Calli

"That was to close for comfort," the bald man said. The way he acted, I knew he must have been a defender.

"Yeah." Vampire-Boy nodded and turned toward the newcomer. "Savior?"

The boy nodded, "Yes."

"Good," Vampire-Boy replied, "Now we've got a decent sized team. So, what's everybody's names?"

I rolled my eyes. I don't know why, but hearing someone like him ask peoples' names was oddly funny. "Calli." I looked them over. Vampire-Boy and the blond guy who'd been trampled by his dog looked about the same age, and they were all obviously older than me. But the new-comer looked about my age, maybe a little older. But the bald defender was clearly the oldest, and really buff.

"I'm Daniel," the new-comer said.

I smiled, but I was pretty sure it came out as an apprehensive half-smile half-grimace. So meeting new people wasn't really my strong point, but oh well.

Then I heard something that interrupted my train of thoughts. Or rather, the lack of something. Everything was muted for an instant, then I could hear the others introduce themselves as if they hadn't noticed the lack of sound, even though it was only for a split second. The big guy was named Korri, the blond boy said his name was Mire, and Vampire-Boy said his name was Burns.

I turned to my left, just in time to see a huge blue glow approach. The next instant it hit me. I felt the wind get knocked out of me as I was flung off my feet and slammed into the ground. When I could breathe again, I realized all the others in my group had gotten knocked down.

Coughing, I propped myself up on my elbows and tried to see where the thing had come from. The dust made it impossible to see. I put my right palm on the ground, focusing on drawing the water out of the ground. Something told me whatever it was, it wasn't a good-guy.

Korri

Right after Korri he was back on his feet, noticing that the blod-guy named Mire was, too. He was definitely a defender. The pair of them gazed in the direction the blast had come from as the others got themselves up off the ground.

"What the hell was that?" Mire asked, he reached up and yanked off his mask which made Korri noticed that his own was growing increasingly uncomfortable.

"I'm not su-." A lithe figure darted toward Mire, knocking him to the ground before somersaulting off him a speeding toward Burns. Korri shot forward, clotheslining the thing just before it got to the boy. With a grunt, he pushed forward and slammed the thing into the ground. It looked like a teenage girl, but it's eyes betrayed it s true identity. Those featureless things shining silver as the mutant shrieked at Korri. It twisted its arm at a grotesque angle a another blue blast threw Korri backward five yards.

Burns,

I'm taken completely by surprise when the mutant attacks. The blue energy ball, or whatever it is, knocks all of us to the ground. I am immediately back on my feet, trying to see things through dusty air. I hear an inhuman shrieking, and I only just dodge the flying defender as he is hurtled towards me. I run in the direction that he came from, thinking that, if I get close to the mutant being, I can reverse the mutation. I nearly run into it as I skid to a stop. She stares at me, a snarl twisting her beautiful features. She lunges with feline quickness, but I manage to dodge. She hisses.

"Go to hell, you evil-" I mutter, before dodging another attack. Now I go on the offensive, charging at her, and ramming my head into her stomach. Luckily, this seems to have the effect that it has on other, normal humans. She collapses to the ground, gasping. I kick her body, keeping my foot touching her leg. But my power does not seem to be working on her. I snort, and turn around.
Before I know what is happening, I am being thrown through the air.
And remember...A portkey can be any sort of harmless object...A football...or a dolphin.
