[Okay, here we go...]

Daniel

Azul didn't have much a fight to stand. He had threatened to use the trees, but the combined presence of I and Burns resulted in quick healing of the local flora. There were three of us and one of him. What could he do?

Then he transformed into a panther.

He struck at Burns, who seemed confused by the wind and thus the most vulnerable. I shoved him out of the way just in time.

Azul turned around and growled. He jumped at me this time. I instinctively held out my hands to parry him. It took me a second to realize the problem with this: most panthers didn't find arms threatening. I dove just in time and Azul went for Calli. She, at least, was ready. She picked up a rock and threw it at him.

Azul reeled at the blow and landed a few feet off from his mark. The wind abruptly stopped and Burns struggled to his feet.

*I am really, really, REALLY, sorry for not posting everyone. I had to go to school and my mother was asking me to study, so I didn't have time to post or review. But I'm promising you that I will post everyday. I'm sorry again. :smt022 :smt022 :smt022

*Firestalker will come. I called him and asked.*

*I think its time that one of the groups meet Kit and Zire. Because we are surrounded by mutants.*

Kitrina,

The little girl sat silently while the group of black clothed mutants escorted them to the place where Kit's nightmares come true. She fought to hold back the hailstorm of memories in her mind.

She gasped a little as pain shot through the gashes on her face.

The mutant walking beside her, turned to look at her, his face hidden by the hood of his black robe. He slapped her across the face over the wounds making Kit scream in pain and drop off Zire's shoulder onto the ground.

The mutants all made noises of disgust as the little girl cried in pain.

Kit looked around while crying and saw that Zire wasn't even looking at her. This made her cry more.

But she heard Zire muttering words under his breath, unheard by the distracted mutants who had gathered around her.

She saw, through her blurry eyes, one of the mutants unleashing a knife, and she also saw a heat haze over the far end of the road.

As fear rose up in her, she saw Zire whipping around and directing his twirling hands at the group of mutants.

The mutant bent down and put the knife blade across her neck, preparing to slice across. Kit, as her fear increased more, felt small squirt of pee escape her.

But a massive sound of wind bellowed suddenly, and a point black wave of heat hit the group of mutants, knocking them off their feet, and making them fall almost twenty meters away.

Zire ran over to Kit.

"Come on! They won't stay down that long, come on!" Zire bellowed at her, running while dragging her with him by her hand.

*Okay?*

**What if Korri heard Kit scream and he and Akira came to help? I can't post at this moment, but I will in a little bit.**
Llama 1:"Shh! Do you hear that? That's the sound of forgiveness."
Llama 2:"That's the sound of people drowning, Carl!"
Llama 1:"That is what forgiveness sounds like; screaming and then silence."

Daniel

Azul seemed to be having trouble rising, but that wouldn't stop him. I looked about and noticed a light suddenly appear a long way off. More Saviors?

"Look over there," I pointed. "What do you make of that?"

"I'd say it's help," Burns answered. "I doubt that mutants could make a fire. But..." All eyes turned to Azul. I he was intelligent enough to wiggle into a (however uneasy) trust, who was to say that not all the Mutants could do so, and thus have enough intelligence to start a fire?

"We should tie up Azul here, at least," I said, trying to change the subject.

[neither of my posts placed anyone out of character, did they?]

*Okay, I'm so, so sorry about not posting. I haven't been able to find the time to sit down and write anything for a while, seeing as how for just over two weeks straight I was fighting for five minutes on the computer. So hopefully I'll be back and able to post more. Sorry again guys!*

Calli

Daniel and I tied up the currently unconscious Azul, and then we hurried off. Running through the forest once more, now more alert than before, I couldn't shake the nagging ache in my legs. I was definitely not built for running, of that much I was certain.

I paused a moment later. I sensed something a little ways off and to the northeast.

"What's wrong?" Daniel asked, stopping when he realized I had. Burns instantly stopped as well and turned to face me.

"Something's not right. I think we should go that way," I said, pointing to the northeast, or at least what seemed to be northeast from where I was standing.

"Why?" Burns asked.

I shrugged, but felt my eyebrows knit together. "I don't really know. There's something wrong up there, someone's in trouble. I don't know how I know, I just do. I know rushing into a fight's not exactly smart, but I think we should at least investigate. It could be more of us, and if they're in trouble, we have to try," I added when they both looked doubtful.

"Rushing into a fight is rather stupid, but maybe you have a point. With more than just the three of us, things would be an advantage. But the fire's that way, do we really want to risk it?" Burns questioned.

"I do. And I think if we're careful, no one has to know we're coming. As far as I know, none of the mutants have psychic abilities. We have just as much chance of running into mutants that way as we do heading the way we were. I'm going, whether you guys decide to come along or not is up to you," I said stubbornly. Even I didn't know what came over me to say that, or why I knew that was the right way (if there was such a thing anymore), but I'd said it, and I intended to stick to it.

Burns sighed and nodded. "Alright then, let's go."

"I'm in," Daniel relented.

I grinned at them and began running in that direction, all the while wondering What's out there?

*is this okay? sorry if it's crappy. sort of just threw it together, but hopefully it's okay :)*

*Woops, Sorry for not replying guys, I went on a trip recently without internet and then took four days to return and then another day to get to the computer and an hour to find out that the hardware in the computer seemed to have strangely malfunctioned during my long trip and several more days to convince my father to let me use his computer. So yeah, life's been tough for me... yeah... anyway, I'm glad you guys kept Azul alive throughout my absence until the last post where her was left all alone... tied up... abandoned  :P , So yeah I'm really, really, really sorry just like C above. And I hope my long post will be able to sum up my absence.*

**And yes if you find that kind of formal, you'll know that I sound formal when nervous, hehe.**

Zire

We were running. Kitrina was hurt and we were running faster than we imagined we could. My surroundings were only blurs that clouded my otherwise clear vision. I was tense and vigilant. I could hear and even slightly feel the deep breaths of the mutants as they pursued us as fast as they could. We had had the element of surprise when we had escaped from the clutches of the mutants. This enabled us to increase the distance between us and the mutant party, but now they were gaining on us like bees pursuing a man, a hurt man.

All we had were our barely sane minds and the hope that remained true and solid. I was hoping to run into a group of saviors from before, but the chances were against me and I knew it was better not to hope on things that had a less chance of ever fulfilling itself. And yet for now, that was the only thing we could hope for.

I kept pulling Kitrina behind me, trying to make her run, but she was too weak for that and only managed to keep up with me because I was pulling her, and still she tried to run, tried to keep up with me.

She was depending on me to save her and I knew I could not do so. I could keep running but I would be forced to stop eventually.

It occurred to me after a while of running that the mutants pursuing us were falling back one by one. Until only a handful remained, still too large for me and Kitrina to handle alone with our drained strength.

And then out of no where, we found ourselves running straight towards another group of saviors that were running towards us.

*I hope that I wrote that all right and everyone's okay... or not?*

Azul

*I have no idea how Azul found it hard to stand after a mere throw of a rock, but I'll go with the flow ^^*

"There goes the peaceful plan" I muttered as the saviors left me tied up and alone as they decided to run ahead and scout for more saviors.

Yes, they would find them all right

I had previously ordered the mutants to capture the Air Purifiers, tempt the stronger one to escape and then chase them for a while before slowly falling back, one by one. After all, that was what the commander had ordered before. We were to capture a savior first before initiating our master plan. I hoped that Akira succeeded where I had failed.

I looked around before letting my mutant genes succumb again. I smiled as the ropes now slid off me easily. Once out of the ropes I looked up and waited for a while. Sure enough, Aela came flying down.

"Please tell me Akira succeeded?" I asked pleadingly.

Aela looked at me and the surroundings, looked around and then gave me a look that made me sigh in relief.

"She certainly managed to stay out of ropes" replied Aela after a while.

"And who did we get?" I asked now both interested and relieved.

"A water purifier named Jacks" answered Aela.

"I see" I said and started to think "Akira's been successful in infiltrating and capturing a savior. I suppose that means the plan can progress. Tell the commander that I await further instructions, until then I will follow previous orders" I paused and looked at Aela, "Anything else I should know?"

Aela shook her head and then said "Try not to be in ropes, tied to a tree upside down when I come back"

I hissed playfully before turning around to follow the trail of the saviors.

**I hope this is okay with everyone?**

** I will catch up with the rest of the group soon enough, I just thought Akira could bring Azul in partially. :D

Akira

Sitting blatantly by the fire, she sat incredibly bored. Korri was still sulking and wasn't the very talkative sort either. With a small sigh, she got to her feet and stretched, trying to see if there was any mutants near by that could add excitement into their downcast party. Some of the trees were mutated, just in a slumber, but she didn't feel like calling on of them. They were stupid brutes.

Taking a quick glance over to Korri who sat by the fire, she huffed and sat back down again.

"And where do we go from here?" Akira asked him, staring into the flickering flames.

"We have to do our job of course." He mumbled.

But the conversation was not long lived when they heard a scream through the forest. Korri jumped to his feet and screamed Jacks name as if in desperation, but he soon stopped when he realized there was no way it could be Jacks. But there was someone in trouble, and she saw that he had to help. Disgusting.

"We need to help who ever that was!" Akira yelled, looking frantically around her. "Where did the scream come from?"

"This way," Korri said getting to his feet and started running through the forest, Akira following behind him. He started running faster, and Akira soon felt like she was falling behind because she could not run as fast. Eventually, she gave up leaning up against a tree huffing as he trudged on without her blindly.

She was alone. But that wasn't long lived because she felt a pressure at her temple, the sign that one of the stronger mutants was near, and soon enough, she was able to tell it was Azul.

Walking through the forest, hands running across the trees casually, a smile upon her face, she soon morphed out of her illusion, into her normal self. And soon enough, she saw Azul running through the forest in his mutant form, looking a bit angered.

"Azul!" Akira called after him, with a wave of her hand. He stopped, and turned to look at her with what seemed to be surprise according to his features.

**Who is took over Jacks's character?**

Korri

Korri raced through the trees, his feet pounding into the dirt. He couldn't keep Jacks out of his head. He couldn't forgive himself for letting her slip out of his hands. It was not only in his job, but in his very self to protect others, and he could'nt do it, even with his new Savior powers.

He saw two groups converging up ahead. "Akira, there-" Korri skidded to a stop, suddenly realizing Akira wasn't with him anymore. "Akira? Akira!" Torn, Korri hesitated. Looking from the group of Saviors ahead, to the trees he'd just come through. "Dammit!" He took off back the way he came. At least there were multiple Saviors with the injured girl, but Akira was alone. What was wrong with him? If something happened to Akira, he'd never forgive himself.

Burns,

After leaving Azul trussed up, we run. We run as we've never done before, not caring if we run through streams, or trip on quickly un-mutated roots. And then, quite suddenly, two other Saviors are running straight towards us. We slow down, and examine each other. One is a small girl, frail looking, and the other is a tall, muscular guy, significantly older. I hear howls of mutants coming from behind them. The girl speaks.

"Boy, am I glad to see you!" she says, tugging on the older guy's shirt, "We've got tons of mutants on our back, but they've fallen back, I guess."

"It's definitely better if we're together," I agree.

Sorry, my fault. I couldn't think of anything else. :) I could edit my post if you have something better in mind.

Daniel

"Mm Hmm," I agree with Burns. "Which means we should probably go catch up to that guy." I point to another Savior, running through the forest in the opposite direction. He didn't seem to have any markings of a mutant.

*Sorry, short post. I ran out of ideas.*
