Burns,

We run after the other Savior. The way he's running sounds desperate, and angry. We finally catch up to him, enough to call out quietly.

"Hey," I say. He whirls around.

"Saviors?" he asks dubiously.

"Hell yes," I reply.

Korri

"One of you was hurt. I heard a scream." He said, looking at the small girl on of the Saviors was carrying.

"I'm okay." The girl said weakly. Korri didn't believe her, but she was in good hands as far as he could tell.

"Hey, wasn't there a girl with you. The last time we saw you you were with someone." The blind Savior said.

Korri clenched his fists, setting his jaw. "She was taken by mutants." He closed his eyes against the wave of grief. He managed to get control over his emotions and looked back at the other Saviors. "There's another girl back here somewhere. I need to find her before something happens to her, too."

"Well, let's go, then." Oneof the other Saviors said. Korri nodded and headed off to find Akira. He wasn't letting those mutants take her.
Llama 1:"Shh! Do you hear that? That's the sound of forgiveness."
Llama 2:"That's the sound of people drowning, Carl!"
Llama 1:"That is what forgiveness sounds like; screaming and then silence."

We followed the new savior, but he seemed to be loosing his way. Everything in the jungle looked alike (Well, aside from some small, narrow paths of restored health).

He stopped, looking extremely dejected. Then, just before it seemed he might explode in emotion, he seemed to hear something. He jumped through some foliage, and stopped. I ran ahead to see what was up.

It was more mutants. Azul, and some other one.

*Akira wouldn't be recognizable in her true form, right? I can't remember what it was, I'm afraid...*

*I have to say something, Zire is anything but muscular. He's tall, and is fifteen years old.*

"Boy, am I glad to see you!" she says, tugging on the older guy's shirt, "We've got tons of mutants on our back, but they've fallen back, I guess."

Uhm......RedBird, Kitrina never talks like this. She's formal and is little. Remember. :D

Kitrina,

The little girl got off Zire shoulder, feeling intimidated by the towering Saviors and mutants. She didn't have any strength to fight anyone. Feeling an urgent need rising, she cast her attention towards the mutants, twirling her legs nervously. She could vaguely remember the boy mutant.

She got behind the group of saviors and pointed her hands outwards, but kept her arms by her side. Instantly, blue and white sparks started flying into her hands, forming two spheres.

She listened to the conversation going between the mutants and saviors.

*Sorry for the small post.*
Warden: "If you want to lead, all you have to do is ask."
Alistair: "What? Lead? Me? No, no, no. No leading. Bad things happen when I lead. We get lost, people die, and the next thing you know I'm stranded somewhere without any pants."

>>>Gahhh! Sorry about that!<<<

Burns,

Two mutants coming out of the woods. One of them is Azul. He sneers at me, and I sneer right back.

"Oh, it's you," I say, "I thought that they'd send someone with intelligence greater than that of a fish, but you know, I guess you were the only choice."

I wouldn't have said it to anyone but him, and I can tell that he hates me more than ever for saying it. Knowing this, it's obvious to me that the mutants are another sentient race, and we should think of them as such, instead of as mindless animals.

"So, have you two come to negotiate? Or are you bait?" I continue, sarcastically.
And remember...A portkey can be any sort of harmless object...A football...or a dolphin.

**Akira would be recognizable, so you are right Tazakk. She kind of looks like a human but with random coloured scales in random places and with short fiery red hair. ;)

Akira

"We aren't bait let me assure you," Akira grinned wildly but her eyes kept on lingering on Korri despite the situation. He seemed worried as if he actually had wanted to protect her. And then a surprising feeling came over her. Pity. He probably thought that the savior Akira was captured just like their Jacks was. Her eyes flickered back to the rest of them, hoping that her sense of emotion was not visible when she looked at Korri. "We actually just wished to warn you... people. We want you to leave, and we will give you the chance, if you don't, then you will die one by one."

"And what makes you think you can kill us? We have fended off your wolfmen easily enough," one of them piped up. She didn't pay attention to which ever one it was, for really she didn't care.

"They are but merely pawns, we have much stronger mutants. We will fend off this planet if it is the last thing we do. So we are telling you to leave. Join your people, or else you will all turn out like that other savior Jacks."

"Why don't we just kill them now?" Azul purred, sneering at them, but his eyes were trailing on the blind one.

"That wasn't our orders," Akira hissed, "But there is another savior out alone in the woods that we can kill to give them a little incentive."

"Akira..." Korri seemed to murmur under his breath.

Before any of them could stop her, she turned on her heel, sinking into invisibility and ran off deeper into the forest where she could change back easily enough without being seen. Though she had left Azul without any knowledge of her plans, and she hoped that he wouldn't fight them, because again, that was not there orders.

Sliding the illusion over her once more, she felt herself appear a Savior and then she willed mutants to her, mutants that she could pretend to fight.

Calli

I snarled when the female mutant vanished. They can't just get away with a stunt like that! I thought angrily, my fingers balling into fists. Already, a small, very sharp dagger of ice had formed in my palm. Without really thinking it all the way through, I lunged at Azul, only to find myself being dragged back. I whipped around and saw Burns holding my arm, his sightless gaze locked on Azul.

"Bad idea," Burns said.

"I can't just sit back and do nothing! Maybe you can, but that's not how I do stuff," I growled.

"He's right, you know. You shouldn't think we're stupid. See, I've learned about you three the whole time I was with you. If you were to charge recklessly like that, you'd be defenseless, like sheep to the slaughter," Azul sneered.

My fingernails dug into my palms and my knuckles went white. I was nearly shaking with fury. Somehow he knew that being told I couldn't hold my own in a fight was more than I could stand, and I probably would've charged at him if Burns didn't have an iron grip on my arm.

"Relax," Burns said.

Sure, I thought sarcastically. I'd already melted the ice in my hand and felt water drip off my knuckles. Grinding my teeth, I said, "What do you propose we do then?"

"He's a defender, you're not. Ask him," Burns said. At first I couldn't figure out who he was talking to, seeing as he was staring at Azul, but I quickly guessed he meant the big bald guy in the back of the group. He was clenching his fists as well.

I looked directly at the defender while saying, "I guess you're in charge for now. What's your plan?"

*okay? sorry it's lame, it's all I could think up right now.*
I gave up telling people I hear voices. So now I talk to the voices instead.

Daniel

I stared after the first mutant as she disappeared into the forest. I didn't know who the heck the other savior she had mentioned was, but I had no intention letting them get hurt.

I glanced back at the others. They all seemed to just be standing about, doing nothing. And I doubted anybody would listen to me.

It was time to take matters into my own hands. I trotted into the foliage when nobody was looking. I had to find that savior- and help them.

I had wandered for only a few minutes when I heard trouble ahead. I ran forward and pushed some brush aside.

There, a savior was fighting off a living army of plants. I trembled in fear.

**Oh no! I could've sworn I posted! Dang it!**

Korri didn't notice the one Savior take off as he focused on the male mutant. Best plan was to leave the close combat to himself.

"Alright, you there," he pointed at the hotheaded female Savior, "what's your name?"

"Calli."

"Calli. I need you to throw some ranged attacks with your water. Do you have enough to do serious damage with?"

The Savior concentrated. "Not really."

"Here," Korri handed her his extra cantine of purified water. "Now, when you get a clear shot, hit him. Got it?" Calli nodded and unscrewed the cantine lid. Korri turned to the other Saviors. "Who here can fight long distance?"
Llama 1:"Shh! Do you hear that? That's the sound of forgiveness."
Llama 2:"That's the sound of people drowning, Carl!"

Burns,

"Well, I could summon some of my animals...and I can control Shay. I've also got my handgun. So, yeah, I can fight long range."

Korri nodded, "Good. Now, what else have we got?"

As we figured out our battle plan, I noticed that Daniel was not with us any longer. I called out softly.

"Daniel? You there?" No reply.

"Shit!" I muttered, "Guys, we've got a situation,"

Akira

She held a small dagger in her hand facing the ferns that were reaching out towards her. She tried her hardest to display fear and concentration when really she was beckoning the plants to come closer, to fight her.

One vine lunged at her, and she cut it, not fatal but enough to make it look like so. In her mind, she calmed the plant to a sleep, so it appeared to fall to the ground lifeless. She knew this plan would work well. Some sound came from the brush beside her and she saw a male saviour pop up but stop in his tracks. He seemed terrified.

"It seems I got myself in a bit of a pickle here," Akira said, her voice wavering as if she was on the verge of panic. One of the vines came out and grabbed her ankle, pulling her and tossing her to the ground.

'Gentle guys,' she thought and she quickly cut the part off with her dagger trying to make it look clumsy not like how an expert would do it. The plant reeled up and she heard a shriek come from it. Kicking the dust at it as she got up, she grabbed the one saviours arm to pull him back into the forest.

"We need to get out of here quickly. Soon the rest of the forest will be waking up if we wait too long," Akira said and she tried to run faster. She knew she was running in the opposite way from the rest of the saviors, but she would wait until this one mentioned that there were other saviours close by.

Daniel

"Um, no offense, whoever the hell you are, but we're going the wrong way. You probably should have thought of that as a possibility, since you saw me coming from there." I was suddenly suspicious. "Maybe I should lead."

I turned around and lead the way through the forest. Finally, We came to the scene of the battle. I gave the spot a wide berth and was about to continue on when a think vine wrapped around my ankle and began pulling me back.

Zire

I was breathless and tired, so I let the rest of the saviors do the planning themselves. If they needed me I would gladly help as much as possible though.

"Shit!" A savior cursed, "Guys, we've got a situation,"

He was the blind savior who, like me, had a grudge against the cat-mutant. I looked around for Kitrina, finding her beside me, I looked back up.

"The savior who was with me, Daniel is missing" he said to us.

Some of us, me included, did not actually know who Daniel was, but we looked around anyway, expecting to see Daniel. We didn't.

Azul

I struggled to stop myself from rolling on the ground laughing and barely succeeded. I didn't understand humans. They seemed to always forget I was with them. I knew this was partially because of my mutant genes, but to actually plan to attack me in front of me was going far beyond my understanding of human behavior.

As I waited for them to attack me I saw one of the saviors slip away from the rest, walking straight into Akira's trap. His name was Daniel, he was with the blind savior, Burns before. I knew his disappearance would not go unnoticed so I waited until someone did notice it. Surprisingly it was Burns, the blind savior who I was getting to like. He was the only savior who in my terms deserved to be a mutant, like me and Akira. But as he was a savior and not a mutant all I could do now was play around with him.

"So" I said walking around the group, "it seems that your companion is lost, I wonder if the trees got him? Or maybe I did?"

**Umm, Okay? Sorry for the short post by the way**

*Is Daniel a girl name? because he is a boy. :) *

Daniel

The vine pulled me in. The other Savior just stared, and made no move to help. Traitor.

"Please, help," I cried hopefully. But she just smirked.

"You fool," she replied. Momentarily, she took the form of the first mutant from earlier. Then her normal form flashed back.

"Well, if that isn't some crappy luck," I muttered. It had been a trap. And now my friends would fall in it when they came searching.

I closed my eyes and pretended a mutant wolf was pulling me back, not a shriveled vine.

I concentrated. Hard. I had no blade, so I would have to go with something else.

The ground began to shake. The vine snaked away in fear. The mutant fell to the ground.

It was a good sized earthquake.

Burns,

I hear Azul, even before he enters the clearing.

"So, it seems as if your companion is lost. I wonder if the trees got him? Or maybe I did?"

Before I know what's happening, the earth starts to shake. I know that this is not some twisted mutant plot because Azul cries out just like the rest of us. I manage to get my handgun in my hand, but I don't dare shoot because I can't locate Azul among all of the other sounds around me. So instead I try to keep from falling over.

Too often we crave the extraordinary in life, without even learning how to cherish the ordinary first. Friend, I promise you this: if you can learn to take joy in the simple mundane things in life, the extraordinary will take care of itself, it'll be on its way, hurrying towards you. But if you skip the first part, it'll ever evade you.
