August took the dogs out for a run the next morning seeing Kay get out of her car still in the dress she'd been in the night before. She must've slept in her truck on accident. He stopped paying attention and kept running. He had to stay in shape and his dogs needed the exercise.

When he started back he saw KAy walking Coon, her dog. Coon took off towards him and he smiled a little. All three of his dogs got into their curious position.

"Sit." He ordered. They all sat and looked at him for directions. Coon ran over pulling Kay behind him.

"Coon, stop!" Kay commanded. But Coon ran over to each of his dogs greeting them.

"Is he domanite?" August asked.

"Not really." She replied. "A little protetive."

"Relax." He told his dogs. They imediatly started greeting Coon back.

Kasie smiled lightly and rubbed Coon between the ears. "So, how'd the party go last night?"

"LIke any other party." He shrugged. He looked at her dog that seemed happy now that it had offically greeted his dogs. "Ever taken that dog to a trainer?" He asked.

"No, I'm working with him." She replied.

"Good, trainers cost way to much money and normally don't do much good for your dog. Working with it yourself is really best, long as you know what your doing."

"Yeah... When I got him I started training him to be a hunting dog, but since I moved here I couldn't really do anything related to that with him anymore," Coon whined while Kasie rolled his leash around her hand tightly to keep him from straying off to far. "All the usual commands I use get him to thinking that we're going hunting, and I don't want him to gain false hope." She laughed lightly at how ridiculous it may have sounded.

"Yeah," was all August said. Kasie nodded her head once before saying goodbye and continuing on her and Coon's walk.

August watched them walk off and then he started for his house. When he got to his house he took a shower and hten started his house chores, mowing hte lawn, weeding mom's flower bed, all the other normal stuff.

Kasie threw herself onto her bed after getting home and taking a shower. Maybe she'd go to the beach for the day. It'd give her a chance to be near water. Then again, it'd be salty water and not river water. Kasie shook her head and got to her feet, slid on a pair of brown board shorts, a brown top, and a pair of flip flops. She pulled her hair into a messy bun, put on a pair of sunglasses, and whatever jewelry she felt like wearing.

Coon barked excitedly, leash in his mouth again and a small pile of his toys by the door. Kasie laughed and hooked on his leash, putting together a bit of lunch for the both of them into a beach bag with her towel and sunscreen. She piled the toys on top and gripped his leash, loading him in the back on her old truck. She couldn't help but stare at a shirtless August who was weeding his mom's flower bed. Coon barked again, this time out of impatience and Kasie laughed, cranking her car.

August looked up when he saw a dog bark and he saw Kay driving away. He went back to weeding and then stood up wiping his hands off on his pants. He walked inside and ran a hand through his hair.

"Go to the beach if all your chores are done." His mom said walking in. "I don't want you hanging around here."

"Alright, I'll call some friends up to see if they want to come." He replied.

"No, just go. If they are there, then ok." His mom replied. He ran up to his room grabbing his beach stuff then getting the dogs and getting in his car.

Kasie laughed loudly as Coon ran after the waves barking angrily, only to run away in fear when the chrashed on the shore. She hadn't bothered to put sunscreen on, considering the fact that she didn't want to be tan in front and red in back. "Coon! They're not going to hurt you!" She laughed, suddenly being knocked to the ground by a large guy with a football. Wasn't he one of August's buddies? Before Kasie could react a group of more guys ran by, tackling the guy that had fell atop of Kasie. She managed to squirm out, soon face to snout with Coon. "You're a lot of help, you know that?" At the sound of her voice he began to wag his tail. Kasie smiled and ran over to her stuff, taking out one of Coon's tennis balls and chucking it into the water.

"August, man! We were wondering when you were going to get here!" The guys from before yelled, making Kasie scream in terror inwardly. She looked back at the group, who were all giving August, the devil's spawn, those manly fist bumps.

August smiled when he saw most of the football team. When his three dogs tore off towards the water he let them go and then grabbed the football from someone and tossed it in the air.

"Let's play!" He grinned. They all lined up and he tossed the ball to Yurry, a chinese guy who was a quick runner.

**Lol, I feel like being mean to Kasie for a second**

Kasie was once again plowed to the ground, getting either stomped on of stepped over by the idiots. She held her tongue to keep from cursing and got back to her feet, only to be soaked to the bone by three dogs and a puppy. She groaned aloud and snatched the tennis ball from Coon, chucking it somewhere into the water again. The puppy barked and jumped around near the incoming waves while all three dogs, including Coon, raced for the ball.

Kasie had began to get entertained by the three dogs racing at the puppy barking at the waves as Coon had. It wasn't until loud giggling sounded around her that she decided it best to stay away from the water and sit on her towel. Four blondes a short brunette were pointing over at her and laughing. The bitches. She sat down on her towel, eyeing Coon every now and then to make sure he was okay, and pulled out her notebook, writing down anything that came to mind.

Coon bounding over about an hour later with the tennis ball in his mouth, probably knowing that it was lunch time. Kasie laughed lightly and took the ball from him and dug around in her bag a bit. She pulled out two bottles of water, a bowl, and two sandwiches with only bread and ham.

Once they had both finished eating Coon nosed around in Kasie's back, taking off with the peanut butter dog treats that she had made herself. He barked happily and threw them up in the air, catching them again and running. Kasie groaned and stood up, instantly on the chase. "Coon! Give 'em back! C'mon Coon! You can't eat the bag! At least let me take them out!" He lept into the water, Kasie tackling him the second she got in. Coming up, she sputtered and shook her soaking wet locks, glaring at the german shorthair. "Bad dog Coon," she glared at him for a moment, before almost at once giving in and giving him the treats. She just couldn't stay mad at her baby boy.

Another hour passed and Kasie was getting annoyed. Coon had drug all her clothes out of her bag and across the beach and she was still missing a very 'personal' item. She had told him that it was time to go and all of a sudden he had just became a little rebel! At the moment though, Coon was sitting on Kasie's towel, trying to look innocent. This time however, Kasie wasn't falling for it. She wouldn't have cared had she lost the so called 'personal' item to the sea... but sadly, she knew it was on the beach somewhere. She stomped over to Coon, eyes alit with rage. "Where'd you put it Coon? Huh? I really need that right about now, you know that right?" Coon just whined innocently. "Either you go find it or you'll be back out in the doghouse." At her words Coon began almost at once looking for her 'item'.

**By the way that said 'item' is her bra lol**

**:D**

When all the guys finally left August called his dogs over. The little pup ran over with a bra wrapped around his head, tripping over it with every other step.

"What have you boys been letting him do." August laughed at the other two who ran over to the puppy and started sniffing at the bra. That's when Kay's dog Coon ran over and started trying to play with the bra too, Kay running after him. August walked in the mess of the dogs grabbing the pup and then unwrapping him from the bra. Coon started jumping on him trying to get the bra.

**Lol you do realize that you said bra like six times. :D**

Kasie ran over, snatching it out of his hand shoving it into her beach bag, glaring at Coon, who was still wagging his tail excitedly. She felt heat creep across her face as August cocked a humorous eyebrow at her. She ran a hand through her damp hair and spun around, starting for her car with Coon barking at her side.
