"Good to know," Kasie grinned and took a bit of the potato off his neck with her pointer finger, sticking it in her moth. "Ew... garlic. Now your going to smell bad all day. Too bad, huh?" She smirked, eyes straying to his hand that was latched tightly around her arm. "Now, if you'd be so kind as to let me go," she plucked off his fingers one at a time before shaking her hand out, only to have him grab her arm again. "Cuttin' off my blood supply to my hand y'know," she cocked an eyebrow at him, licking her lip ring yet again.

"I really don't care new gir-"

"My name's Kasie. Learn and remember it kay? Cause, I won't be answerin' to new girl after today, got it?" Without waiting for a response she smile. "Good, now let me go Mister Hotshot."

Kasie hummed to herself softly, the taste of garlic and cologne still on her tongue. What'd he do lather himself in it before coming to school? She stuck her tongue out in disgust and walked into her Sex Ed class, taking a seat in the front row at one of the two-seater desks. By the time class rolled around there was once again, only one seat left and that was next to Kasie. "Okay class! The seats you're in right now are the ones you'll have all year unless I choose different." The door suddenly opened and Kasie crossed her fingers, hoping it not to be August.

Sadly... her hopes were crushed.

August couldn't believe his bad luck. Yet again the last seat was by Kay. He sat down begrudingly.

"Good to see you August. What you just missed is that the seats your in right now are the ones you'll be in for the whole year." The teacher said.

"There no way I can change my seat right now?" He asked.

"No. Sit down please." He growled and sat down.

Kasie stuck her tongue out at August and scooted her chair over until she was on the edge of the desk. She took out one of her unused notebooks and wrote 'Sex Ed' in big, black, permanent markers. "Okay class. I'm going to start today off with a simple question. Who knows what sex is?" Everyone raised their hands. "Okay... who had had sex before?" The entire class, once again raised their hands other than Kasie. She blushed once realizing with and glanced at the purity ring on her left hand before pretending to occupy herself with other things while the class eurupted into laughter.

Kasie got to her feet suddenly, gathering all her books, and brought her foot up, slamming it into August's shoulder, which sent him out of his chair and onto the ground. The contact probably hurt her more than him. She dropped her stuff into her messenger bag and walked out of the door, slamming it behind her. The second she walked out the door she pulled out her cell and dialed her dad's phone number. "Hello?" A deep, laughing voice answered. Kasie looked around before dropping her bag and sinking to the ground in a small space in between two soda machines and turning the phone of speaker.

"Hey Daddy. Are there any schools other than this one around this area?"

"Hey hun! Bad first day?"

"Yes sir. I tried to get through it through it. I really did, but this school is just a little... too much." She sighed, questioning how stupid she was to even attempt the move to Cali. Her words her dripping with her accent, not worried about hiding it.

"Well, the closet school is about thirty minutes from where your planning to build the shelter, but it's an hour away from your house."

"Daddy! Are you sure?! I can handle this."

"I'll keep looking hun. You just... do whatever you want and I promise you that I'll find you a new school by tonight."

"But Daddy! I can't go back to class, but Momma won't let me come home."

"Why don't you just send her back home. In six months you'll be eighteen anyway." Kasie laughed lightly.

"I'll talk to her bye Daddy."

"Bye babe, love you."

"Love you too."

And with that the line went dead. Kasie sighed and dropped her head down into her hands.

August felt a little bad, but the pain in his shoulder kept him from feeling to bad. Stupid girl.

"August, I don't kow what you said, but go get her." The teacher said.

"Excuse me?" HE demanded.

"Now, or it's to the principles office."

"I almost would rather the principle." He rpeleid.

"GO!" He groaned and got up walkign out the door and looking for her. He heard a noise by the soda machines and saw her sitting between the two.

"This isn't the most orignal hiding spots, i"m sure I could show you a few better ones." He said leaning against the opening.

Kasie sighed, staring up at him. "Yeah, good to know, but I'm not going to be here after today," she smiled fakely before rolling her eyes and leaning her head against the soda machine. August smirked and she glared at him.

"Giving up after only a day?" He teased.

"Yeah, I am. I'm not used to jerks like you and all the cliques and shit. This school sucks ass."

"No joke, but you get to the point where you have to join or you'll get trampled with no scholarships to any schools. Gotta be known for the principle or anyone to call scouts." He replied.

"So you torment people?" SHe growled.

"Part of the role I have to fill or I get shoved aside for the next son of a bitch." He smiled.

Kasie rolled her eyes and got to her feet, shoving her cell phone into her pocket and grabbing her bag. "Whatever. Are there any other schools around this area?" He seemed to be thinking before shaking his head.

"Not that I know of, other than the private school about fifteen minutes from here." This lightened Kasie's spirits greatly. "But... it was closed down over the summer." Crushed.

Kasie groaned and wrapped her arms around her knees, thick rimmed glasses pushed atop her head so her bright blue-green eyes were showing. "What kind of... sports do you have around here?"

"Well, for girls there's cheerleading, which is a definite no for you, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, boxing and softball." Kasie almost to the cheerleading thing offensive but thought nothing of it.

"One, you're a jerk and the boxing and softball work out perfectly." She smiled and shimmied around him, walking further away from the Sex Education class.

"Hey! Where are you going?!" Kasie smirked back at him.

"Not back in there that's for sure."

"Why not little miss virgin?" At his words Kasie flicked her tongue over both rings and glared at him.

August smiled inwardly in triumpant. It seemed whenever she was mad she played with those piercing of hers.

"One, the fact that I'm a virgin is a good thing in my eyes. Two because I don't need to hear some teached talk about sex." She replied.

'COme on, you don't come back in there I'll get hell from her the rest of the year." he said.

"Good."

"Ok, you don't go back in there I'll follow you around until your next class." he smriked.

Kasie growled lowly before shrugging and smirking. She continued to walk, slipping her earphones in and drowning out everything else, even August. She suddenly felt her phone vibrate and she took it out, pressing it to her ear after taking the bud out. "Yellow?"

"Kay-bear! Oh my god guess what?" It was Samuel once again.

"Geez Mule! You like to blow my eardrum out! What is it?" She picked up her pace in an attempt to get some space from August.

"Well... since I'm turnin' eighteen tomorrow I get to move out there!"

"Oh my gosh are you serious?!"

"Yep! I get to see my Kay-bear and hopefully move in with her..."

"Yeah! Totally! Once my mom leave 'course! I'm gettin' your present shipped over and it should be at my house by your birthday."

"Shipped? You're dad pay for it?"

"Yeah... I'll T-T-Y-L I've got some asshole stalking me."

"Kay, bye Kay-bear! Love you!"

"I love you to Mule. Bye." She hung up and glared at August, knowing he heard both sides of the conversation.

Kasie restrained from doing what he was taunting her about and instead walked to their locker, opening it and grabbing all her stuff out. "Whatcha doing Kay-bear?" Kasie took in a deep breath, still silent and strode out of the front of the school, August still on her heels. She tossed her stuff in the back of her old truck, still silent before starting back to the school. Almost as if it grew legs and jumped in front of her Kasie tripped over an unseen stone, tumbling to the ground. She attempted to catch herself on August, only to pull him down with her. Dammit.
