Melpomene:

I viewed the happy little scene with annoyance.
"You kids really need to go."
They all ignored me and continued their oblivious romp around the forest. The traitors already knew. They were probably sending reinforcements. I hated stopping their play as I knew it wouldn't make me any more popular amongst them. I had to get them out of there though. As I reached for my rucksack helicopters whirled above us and we were trapped. I probably failed. I saw the group form a pack like how the dolphins would surround the weaker. John, the only boy who I knew besides Elianna, looked at me expectantly. I knew he trusted me completely. "John, tell everyone to link hands." They quickly did. I knew I could make this mass time travel so, completing the link by grasping onto another child, I shut my eyes and the scenes around us and the helicopters faded. The whole world seem to dematerialize.

Emily

Suddenly, the ground was swept out from Emily's feet, and it seemed as if the only thing that was keeping her to reality was grasping onto Chase's hand. She tried to scream, but it seemed as if a great pressure was upon her.

She slowly bent her head up to see all of the other kids battling with this strange force. A few of them were limp, and had to be supported.

And then, suddenly, their feet slammed into the ground, causing a few of them to cry out in pain, and causing Emily to sway. She wasn't feeling quite right since she had hit her head.

Chase

Some of the kids fell down, while others just stood there. "What the crap was that?" one of the boys asked.
"That," said the lady, "was me saving your butts, that's what."
Chase looked at her curiously while everyone else tried standing up. Emily was still holding on to his hand, tightly.
"Where are we?" asked Abi.

Forever I'll try to be Jake but no promises. I think I can do it. I brought Jake in.

Abigayle

"Hey, Lady!" She shouted," Answer my question. Where the heck are we?" Beside her the boy, Jake, dropped her hand. He smiled as she looked at him, his green eyes sparkling. He looked at me like I had just asked the most important question in the world, as though he didn't think it was possible.
Two people down from her and Jake, Chase looked toward the woman, too, not letting go of Emily's hand. On the other side of the circle Ellie helped a boy that had fallen. The woman just stood there, as though she didn't know how to explain where we were.
"Yeah, tell us," Jake spoke up.

"You don't know? You've all been here before, Take a close look at your surroundings."
They looked at me like I was an idiot. How could they have been here before. It was all...
Then flashes of recognition streaked across some of their faces. It was like a dream world. It was like a hideous case of de ja vu.

Jake

Holy Crap, Jake thought, what is this place. The familiar surroundings confused him, he knew where he was but just couldn't place it, it's name leaving him. The girl beside him stared in wonder to, like his problems where contagious.

Abigayle

The woman's words began to jumble up, her mind didn't seem to be able to take it all in. She couldn't believe where she was. Years before all of the madness around her, her parents had taken her to this place. A strange sense of de ja vu struck her as the memories flooded back.

Its all I could think of since I'm not really sure where they are and its the only explaination that fit. Forever I am now Abi and Jake, okay?

Okay. Thanks.

MELPOMENE~
We were in a sunlit park. The grass seemed unnaturally green and the sunbeams unnaturally warm and bright. It was an afternoon in May. "Welcome to my office. I trust your parents brought you here when we had a last second emergency meeting. You were, what? Four, five?" I told them and then they remembered. They reminiscing about how they were left to play while their parents chatted with their friends. It seemed like an average picnic to the children, so young. Tears rose to some's eyes. "Shall we chat over a picnic?" From my rucksack I produced a red checkered blanket, a loaf of bread, and some other basic food and condiments. They stared at me like I was on the brink of loosing my mind. Have a picnic while God knows what's happening to my mother and father? "Tell me the last time you ate," i challenged. Naturally, nobody could come up with a reasonable answer. Someone's stomach growled, almost on cue. "Alright then. Sit down and enjoy yourselves while you can. I can answer any questions you may have." Over sandwiches and apples, the truth gradually came out.

Elianna sat apart from the group slightly, her ears still open to the converstation that was going on as she tossed pieces of bread to the birds that chirped around her. One of them, a small finch, perched itself upon her figer, cocking its head to the side as Ellie stared at it, beginning a short mental conversation. It chirped once, bidding a farewell, and shot off, weaving through the twigs on the tree. Tear's stung Ellie's eyes as she took in her surroundings finally. She angrily rubbed her eyes and sighed, propping her head up on her elbows, which were pulled to her chest.

"You... what did you do?" I asked stammering at first.

"I'll explain that in a while" The woman said and started to set the picnic stuff as if nothing at all had happened.

I looked around and for the first time, i started to recognize some of the faces of those around me. I had met them years before, at this same place.

"You've heard, about all those evil villains in the storybooks, and about how all of them are bent on destroying the world? Well. It's happening. Right now. I need your help to destroy it."
"How do we know you're not in league with the evil side, huh?" a foolish child asked.
"Someone, check behind his ear for him. Is there a mark?" The child nearest obliged and he found the birthmark. "Now check me." He did and found the same. "Are you evil?" I asked. The boy looked at me.
"No." He said.
"Then neither am I ." I said. End of story.
All of them began examining their ears. I knew they trusted me. That was one step forward.
"Let me train you and you can avenge your parents. If you choose to remain then you could learn to time travel, and do great things. Raise your hand if you wish to stay and go on."

Emily

Emily thought hard.

"Wait wait wait.. What does this all have to do with our parents? How is it that they all disappeared at the same time, and supposedly, the same place?" A tear rolled down Emily's face. "And how are we supposed to trust you when we don't even know who you are?"

Emily let go of Chase's hand to wipe the tears away.

All of the kids looked toward the woman expectantly.
