Isabella - Tristan

I got to my feet, spun around, and in two steps was standing no more than an inch from Thorn.

I wanted to speak, but no words fit what I was feeling. So instead I leaned up and kissed him.

When I pulled away, Thorn stared at me for a long moment, neither of us breathing.

Silently I moved away, throwing my hat onto the bed. My back was to Thorn now.

"Why does it matter? None of this happened, i'm a nobody, just another person," I said softly, unsure if he was still standing at the door. I had heard him move again, but didn't know in which direction.

Garin

Garin leaned against the rail, though now he was careful not to look down, just in case there were any lingering mermaids. He didn't feel like going back belowdeck, and anyway, someone had to keep watch, so no Navy ships could sneak up on them.

"So you're going to be captain some day?" he asked.

Dierik nodded.

Garin smiled crookedly at him. "So, what if someone wants to try and overthrow you?"
Where are we going?

Arthur Hearthorn -- April 11th, 1650 -- Helmsman/Navigator

I stood silently by the door for a moment, deciding on what to do. I could flee and be done with her, or I could stay and try to sort all this out.

I'd never been one to pass down a challenge before.

Shutting the door behind me, I went to take up residence in the chair I had been sitting in little over two hours ago. I lit the candle again, humming the tune to a song softly. Isabella looked up.

"Isabella," I said after a moment. "You're not a nobody."

"Then what am I?" she demanded, spinning angrily.

I smiled, chuckling softly. "You're a pirate, and pirates aren't nobodies. I suppose if you want to stay on this ship, then who am I to stop you?"

Garin

Garin shrugged and gave him a cryptic grin. "I might," he said evasively. "After all, with my astonishing sailing skills and incredible good looks, what crew wouldn't want to follow me?"

"You can't stop me," I replied, glaring at him as he sat in the chair, wearing a small, almost pleased smile on his face. "But you can't keep making me feel so horrid for staying either! If you want to forget the past, then by all means let it be forgotten, but something needs to be done..."

"About what?" he asked, watching me carefully.

"This! I find myself to be utterly deprssed as of late, and I really dislike it..." I trailed off, realizing that I was making absolutely no sense. Sitting down on my bed, I silently avoided looking at him.

[Dierik]

"Ah good point but since you are SO incredibly good looking, your whole crew would be made up of women," Dierik joked.

"I can handle that," Garin grinned.

"Mr. Rous!" called Purple Shark, "Can ye shut it and help untie everyone?"

Dierik gave her a mock salute and shot Garin a side grin as he took back his dagger and began to saw at the ropes of some of the other men.

I chuckled again, watching her. It was then I realized how much I had missed her all these years. It was like joining with a piece of me I had only been half-aware was missing in the first place.

"If you want to forget the past, then forget it. But I prefer to remember the good times we had. They've been so scarce since I left you..."

I sighed.

Then you shouldn't have left, I thought, sitting at the edge of my bed.

"I don't want to forget...but it seems like you do..."

I tilted my head to the side. "What gave you that idea?"

"You just...gave off the impression that you...didn't want to remember," she replied slowly.

I shook my head and smiled slightly. "No, never."

Caralina (Peter)----

I can't lie to the captain, isn't that like a wrong with the pentlty of death? She thought inwardly taking the wheel. She wanted to chew on her lip, but kept from it.

"Don't know why, sir. It might be that I've run into 'em once before." She said. She didn't look up at him. Just kept her eyes forward. If she told him she was to young he'd ask how young. Then she would have to lie.

*Sorry, all I had*

Captain Raphael

I chuckled at the boy, watching him steer.

"I've run into mermaids on numerous occasions," I replied softly, watching for a reaction. He was getting nervous, I could see it in the way he held himself. "And they still hold power over me."

"Well...I..." he began stammering over his words.

"You don't have to tell me. And you don't have to worry. Most of the others are foolish enough to believe that excuse. There may be one or two who won't, but if so they won't point it out."

He still wouldn't look at me. I reached out, taking his face in my hand and turning it so he was looking at me.

"You have lovely eyes," I said gently, smiling at Peter, who I now knew for fact was a girl. "You may continue to steer, if you'd like," I said, turning to leave.

**I hope you don't mind Mabel. We had mentioned the romance between these two, so I figured the Captain oughtta find out.**

Isabella - Tristan

"...Well...I..." I didn't know what to say to him anymore. Sighing, I fell backward into the bed. "If you could go back, would you change anything?" I asked softly, hoping his answer would be the one I was thinknig.

***that is perfectly fine.***

Caralina (Peter)---

With everyone of his sentences her heart dropped. She could feel fear rising up in her and she gripped the wheel tighter. She felt his hand touch her chin and he moved her face so she was forced to look him in the eyes. She tried to look away, but for some reason she couldn't.

"You have lovely eyes," He said gently, smiling at her, she felt her heart do a flip flop and she couldn't explain why. "You may continue to steer, if you'd like," He said, turning to leave.

"Y-you aren't angry?" She asked looking at him keeping her voice quite and letting it sound in it's normal pitch. "I stowed away on your ship then acted like someone I wasn't. That is as good as lying."

Captain Raphael

"That it is," I agreed, nodding at her. "But I'm a forgiving man."

Peter, or whatever her name really was, stared at me.

Caralina (Peter)----

Caralina just stared at him. Was he serious, he was teh captain of a pirate ship. He wasn't supposed to be forgiving. She looked back forward and tried to think of something to say. She looked at him, "I owe you my name, it's Caralina." She said.
