Colt:

He was tempted to lower his mouth to hers, but decided against it. Might be a bit early for that.

"Why don't you go lay dopwn in the hut?" he asked. The other couple were sitting very close, holding a little girl. She didn't look anything like either one of them. Odd...




Mary anne:

"I think that would be a great idea, but do you plan on staying on this island? I mean, we have no idea where we are, and well, are families are probably going to be worried about now, " she stopped, trying to catch her breath. Building a house. It was like..like basically startign a family. Was that what he was suggesting, she wondered looking up at him, her earlier sentence forgotten. "I guess building a house would be a good start. I mean, We can't have kelly out here in the woods for long. But what are we going to use for a tub?"

"I don't know." he said, an amused look crssing his face.

"Whats so funny? Wait a second, I've got to make clothes. And we need to take a bath, some how." she sniffed the air and then coughed. Stinky.

Ryder:

"I'm just talking about until we get found. WE can always build a stall like thing around a part of the creek so you can bathe there. Clothes we'll have to figure that out. But I don' tsee anyone finding us for a while, and a house would be a good idea." He replied.


Dusty:

Dusty nodded and let him help her up and to the hut. When she laid down he started to leave. "Where are you going?" She asked sitting up.

"Back out to the fire."He replieed.

"I'm coming too. I don't want to be alone." She said hurrying to his side.

* ohyeah i have an hour on teh computer so we should get a good distance today. I wont be here 2morrow. surgery*

Mary anne:

"Okay. I could make the clothes if I can find some sturdy weed. My grandma was part indian and she taught me how to sew." she replied, standing up to stretch.




Colt:

Dusty hurried beside him.

"Why don't you want to be alone?"

"Because I get scared." she said, as they sat down near the fire.

"Well, you don't have to worry. I'll never leave you alone." he said, wrapping his arm around her waist.

Dusty:

Dusty leaned against him and closed her eyes. She was only planning on resting them but she ended up falling fast asleep.


Ryder:

Ryder stood up being careful not to wake Kelly. "We better get some rest. When you get to bed make sure to add more wood to the fire so it'll be still going in the morning." Ryder told COlt. He carried Kelly to a hut and laid her down on one of the mats he made. He made another mat so that there were three. "I really need to make that big house hut tomorrow."

Mary anne:

Mary anne sighed as she watche dRyder lay Kelly down on teh mat, careful not to wake her.

"Waht are we going to do?" she asked, looking at Kelly.

"She has no one else, and she's so young. I want to adopt her."

Ryder:

Ryder smiled towards the little girl. "Who knows how long we'll be here for anyways." He smiled. "Get some rest."

Ryder woke up early the next morning and sliped out of the hut not wakign anyone. He stoked up the fire and then caught some fish. He cleaned them and then left them for Mary Anne to find. He went into the woods and started chopping wood so he could build the house. It would be one story with several rooms, beds that came off the ground. A fire place smack in the middle with a hole in the roof that had a cover that would let the smoke out even when it rained, but rain couldn't come in. He smiled, it would take a while, but it would work.

Dusty:

Dusty woke up curled next to COlt. She slowly sat up yawning and then slipped outside. She saw the fish so she started to fry it waiting for the others.

Mary anne:

Mary anne woke up slowly. Where was Ryder? she thought, checking on Kelly. Walking out the hut, she found Dusty, the other girl, frying fish.

"Hey," she said, sitting beside her. "Need some help?"

She looked over at Mary anne. "Sure, um, you can help by keeping the fire lit, and..."

"I get it. So have you seen Ryder?"

"Whose Ryder? Oh you mean your husband?" she asked, sticking teh fish over teh fire.

"Oh, he's not my...husband. We..." sh elet it trail off, because Ryder walked out of teh woods then, dragging some logs. He must of heard what she asked, because he was looking staright at her.



Colt: Colt awoke with a cold shoulder. After carrying Dusty in the hut last night, he had drifted off with her head on his shoulder. Getting up, he walked out of the hut to find Dusty and the other girl siiting by the fire, The man was coming out of teh woods draggin logs adn wood, bu the stopped, hearing a question Dusty asked teh girl. She looked embarrased when she seen Ryder. Colt chuckled to himself and whistled. Dusty loked up. He motioned ofr her to join him. She left teh two for privacy.

Ryder walked over to Mary anne.

Dusty:

Dusty leaned against Colt as they walked. He put his arm around her shoulder and she held onto his hand sighing.

"I don't think I'd mind being here forever." She said softly. "I don't think I'd mind at all."


Ryder:

"You look like the cat that swallowed the mouse and got caught." He smiled. "Something smells good." She just stodo there beat red. He gently stroked her cheek and smiled. "About what Dusty said, when we get back to the states, will you marry me?" He asked softly looking into her eyes.

Mary Anne:

She gasped, almost choking.

"Um...yes."

"Good." He sat teh logs down and swept her off her feet.

Ryder:

"Cause if you said no I'dve bugged you the whole time we were here." He smiled kissing her firmly on the lips.

"YUCK!" Kelly's voice broke in. Ryder set Mary Anne down and turned around getting on a knee. Kelly ran over and hugged.

"What's yuck?" He laughed smiling at Mary Anne.

"You two kissing! Only kids can kiss adults." Kelly said as if that was common knowledge. He lauhged.


Dusty:

"What do you think those logs were for?" Dusty asked as they walked.

Colt:


"I have no idea, but it's probably for some form of shelter." he said shaking his head.

DUsty:

Dusty nodded. "That's good. THey already have two though." She said softly.

"They want more." He shrugged.

"Oh, now what do we do?"

Colt:

"I don't know, I guess we try and help." he shrugged.




Mary anne:

? I forgot where we where....

Dusty:

Dusty nodded and followed him back towards the fire. SHe stopped him when she saw Ryder tickling the little girl. She bit her lower lip. Why hadn't her dad treated her like that. Loved on her even through the hard times.

"Something wrong?" Colt asked softly.

"I don't want to interupt their moment."


Ryder:

Ryder bounced Kelly up and smiled as she gasped for air from laughing. "Are you hungry, sport?" He asked.

Colt:

"Okay, let's go back to the hut then." He put his arm around her waist and lead her to teh hut.


Mary anne:

Mary anne watched as Ryder bounced Kelly on his knee.

"You hungry?" he asked Kelly. She nodded.

"I'l get her something. She turned to get some fish ready to fry. She heard someone behind her and turned to find Ryder. He slipped his arms around her, adn kissed her.

"Your going to make a wonderful mother, you know that don't you?" he asked, pkissing her again.
