She looked over at Ryder who had somehow wondered off alone.

What was he doing?

Annoyed that he left her there by herself, she walked over to him. He seemed to be deep in thoguht.

"Ryder? You ok?" She tapped him on the shoulder. He didn't respond.

"Ryder? What's wrong?" She was getting worried.

"Ya, right, your face is snow white." She scoffed.

"My side hurts juts a little. It's nothing." He replied. He wasn't about ot tell her that he was ready to cry it hurt so bad. But he hadn't cried in years and he wasn't about to start now. "Did you catch something?"

Ryder:

Ryder smiled. "I'm fine, let's go catch some dinner." He led her back towards the creek his eyes clearing as he built his wall back up around his emtions. Taking a deep breath he eased himself to the ground and let his hook fly into the water with a soft thump and splash.

Mary Anne:

She knew he was hiding something. She could feel it. He led her back to the creek, throwing his hook back in. She shrugged and forced herself not to press the issue.

"Ok, but I'm going to work on building my shelter." She didn't tell him that she wanted him to help, she just walked away, not looking back.

"Wait!" Ryder cried. She turned around to look at him. His eyes were stone cold, blocking any emotions. She wasn't sure but it looked as if he had put a wall up to block out his emotions. A tear slid down her face.

"I've waited long enough, Ryder." She turned and walked off, determined to start building her shelter.

Ryder:

Ryder frowned and walked after her ignoring the searing pain in his side. "And what is that supposed to mean?" he demadned when he caught up with her. "i'm not about to let you wander around by yourself, and you'll need help." he said firmly. His voice softened and he stopped her wiping the tear from her cheek. "What's wrong?"

Mary anne:

She looked into his eyes. "I don't know," she pouted, tears streaming down her face. "I guess I'm scared and I don't want to be alone okay?"

He frowned. "But your not alone Mary Anne. I'm here, adn I'm not going to leave you." He pulled her into his arms, wincing at teh pain in his side. She held on with all she had.

Oh God! What was she doing? She couldn't be falling in love with him, could she? She didn't let go, just clung tighter.

*thats ok, im never on on teh weekends anyway*

ALAN:

HE showed Emily the camp before he sat back to make the food ready. When the food was ready Emily was asleep already.
'
But the two lovers were still arguing about something.
Alan smiled brightly to himself.

HE sat up and walked to the two people "Hey foods ready." Alan remarked

Mary Anne looked at him and so did Ryder.

Ryder turned at Mary Anne "We should go and eat." He said

Ryder:

Ryder led Mary Anne to the fire and sat down next to her. He ate in silence though, he would need to find something to wrap his side with, it hurt WAY to much.

"We need to get some huts done before night fall." He said standing back up. "If you want to help, follow me." He stood up and slowly started towards the other end of the clearing where there was more trees that htey coudl use.

Ryder:

"Mary, don't be surprised if most of them aren't alive." Ryder said softly. He led her back towards the beach expecting the worst and hoping for the best.

"Why would they be dead?" She demanded.

"Well, we just crashed!"

The three others were either sleeping or talking to themselves. Alan grinned and walked into the bushes.. He was off to find the other survivors.

Marissa:

Marissa didn't say anything as they looked for the survivors. /the only people they found were an old man and a dog. Plus a little girl whom Marissa cried over.

Heading back to camp, Ryder didn't say anything just let her to her hut and went to teh fire. His hut was beside hers, and she later heard him enter his. She cried herself to sleep.

Something was shaking her.

"Marissa. Marissa, wake up." Ryder shook her gently again.

She sat up, rubbing sleep from her eyes. Her eyes were almost swollen shut from her crying.

"Oh God! The little girl, dead." She cried again, this time Ryder taking her in his arms and rocking her until the sobs died away.

"Why?" She asked aloud.

"I don't know."

"I'm hungry."

"I figured you were, thats why I woke you up. I think it's about noon." He helped her up and walked with her to the campfire where the other two survivors were already eating.

"What's on the menu?"

"Baked fish."

"Yum." They sat down together and ate.

--------

"Night." Sh esaid to Ryder, heading towards her hut.

"Marissa?" She turned around.

"Yeah?"

"Are you sure your ok?"

"Yeah." Sh etruned and headed into the hut, a silent tear rolling down her cheek. Ryder could hear her crying in his hut and it frustrated him. Women. He thought, getting up.

"Ya?" She asked, it sounded lke she was tring to keep the tears from her voice but failing miserably.

"Can I come in?" He asked softly.
