Here, you can summon my charmingly demonic Review Familiar! He may be a bit creepy, but he's a handy fellow in providing feedback for your work!
The Familiar can handle sensitive, violent, or otherwise mature themes. Though he specializes in fantasy and horror, any genre is welcome! Chapters, novels, poems, lyrics—doesn't matter, he consumes all. Green Room works will be prioritized, but ones outside the room are also welcome (they may just sit a little longer in the queue).
The ONLY content he will reject is real-world and/or political articles and essays. Human societies do bore him so. (Out-of-character translation: It's not my thing, and my anxiety can't handle it, sorryyyy!)
We WILL shrink a Review's size depending on the work's length! For example, when reviewing poetry, our reviews tend to look more like the standard YWS S'mores method. But the FULL Familiar Method is a little more explorative—the S'mores method, as well as some detailed analyses on Plot and Pacing, Descriptions and Setting, Action (if applicable), Characterization, and Grammar and Wording.

It's easy to summon the Familiar to your work! Just reply in this thread, including:
1: The title of your work (a link is also very handy for us)
2: Some brief details about the work (chapter/short story/poem, rough length, genre. This helps us sort our queue and gauge how much time we'll need.)
3: If there are any specific concerns you have with the work (e.g, do you want us to put any extra focus into analyzing the plot, or a certain character?)
If the Familiar is available, he'll respond with an "Accepted!" and appear in your work's comment section anywhere from an hour later, to a few days later (he's very sporadic). It's that easy!
