Hello All,

I am submitting this piece of poetry for a scholarship contest, and could really use some feedback.

It was written about a friend of mine, who recently lost her son.

See link here: Mournings After

Please be brutal guys! I can take the heat. :)

Thanks,
-mav

Heya all! I'm here to request a review on my first published work, Huntress: Chapter 1. It is a fantasy book about what defines good and evil, as well as vengeance and the futility of both vengeance and looking only at the small picture (which vengeance symbolizes). I'm gonna give you the quickie on the story, but if you don't want to read it skip to the bottom where there's the link.

It begins with a child named Agrona, a human who was raised by the werewolf/dire wolf/worg alliance. When she is initiated into the Pack, however, she doesn't become a lycanthrope. Thus, she is cast out and seeks refuge. Over the years, she seeks vengeance and her destiny in a story of loyalty and betrayal, life and death, light and darkness, but, above all, of good and evil...

Here is the link: Huntress, Chapter 1: Pack (Book 1 in the Wolfsbane Chronicles)
"All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost."

Hello!
Could someone please review the first chapter of my novel Axylia?
It's a fantasy about the conflict between three races: Humans, Fae, and Elves. Axylia, the titular character, is Fae but was raised as a human. At the beginning of the novel she's just turned 17 and is forced to flee the human city of Kelir for fear of persecution.
Thanks in advance!

If you're able to review Follow The Shining Stars that would be cool. It is a short story just under 1500 words.
