Sparkling Like Insanity

In Poetry

AN:I'm a bit iffy about the title. I am very open to suggestions for it.

Shiny lights that dazzle
darkness that abides
lost among the wilderness
that is space and time

Every day's a new world
but every-one's a ghost
oblivious to nothing
but unaware of most

Drifting through the prison cell
locked inside the cage
picking at the silver bars
of society's disdain

But black and white is emptiness
while colourful is free
sparkling like insanity
is where true joy shall be

That is really good. It flows adn until the end, I believed that it was sometihng ese. Something that i cannot quite put a word too. You are really good at poetry. As for name suggestions, the one you have is really good. Good job little red! :)

Heya! So, first time reviewing in a while, but this seemed worth it. First, let me say you have some crazy potential here. Most people have a very limited vocabulary and can't get a consistent metre, but you did. I love the rhyme scheme, and I think you executed it very well. Maybe that's me.

So, my only real problem with this isn't in the words themselves so much as what they are conveying. This is a very general poem. It's just sort of like a lot of others you see all the time- insanity is cool , think outside the box, so on and so forth. With a ear for poetry like yours, try expanding your horizons. If insanity is a personal thing to you, try being more specific. Instead of a poem about insanity in general, write about how it applies to you or someone imaginary. Do you see what I'm getting at? What you have here are some very nicely crafted metaphors with no real meaning. With work, you could get a great poem out of this.

So, hope I helped a little! Remember to keep punctuation or a lack thereof consistent. Keep writing. You've got some real potential hidden in here.

Hey Ninja

Just a quick review...

One word; wow. That was awesome, thought your words don't sometimes completely rhyme, there was a really nice flow about it. Your imagery was beautiful! And don't you change that name! I love the name, it makes your poem even greater! This poem is really mysterious which is what I love about it. I couldn't see any spelling or grammar mistakes. I think you should write some more, whether your adding to this poem or writing a totally new one... write! You have so much potential as I can see!

Amazing work XD
