When clear, blue skies wither;
fogged by dust and doubt,
and innocence masks the violent,
is when a war looms about.

When beating hearts whisper,
fading in their own beat,
a life that is forsaken, is just
a statistic on a sheet.

Young dreams are cut short;
stabbed and then sliced too.
When words are like daggers,
hope is pierced through.

Rise together and not above.
sow the seeds of salvation.

Persevere, hope, and you will
reach peace and resolution.

I really liked this tad of work. Your meaning in the poem is very good and dark. The stanzas are planned out well and I don't have anything else to say but that this is a very very good piece of work. :)

Hello, Kyla here to review you! I really like this, you can feel the emotion and how you express yourself. I would like to break it down and tell you exactly what I think. If I say something misleading, I'm incorrect, or you disagree please tell me.

In this first part, I loved! It is really good. Was it was suppose to be "an" instead of "and" though? I think what would look better though, is if you capitalized every letter of every begining sentence.

In this next part, I think that is flows really well. I think the only thing is, is that you should've had a semi-colen behind "forsaken" and started with "just" on the bottom sentence.

In this next part, I really enjoyed reading! (I love this poem by the way!) I really liked how you put the periods.

In this next part, I really think that it is good, but I think you should've added it with "Persevere, hope ...". I think that you should've put "and you will" on the bottom and a period and the end of "resolution".

I really hope you like my review and I hope it helps you! Keep writing! :)

Hey there! Noir here, and I'll be your reviewer today. Let's rock.

Concept: This was very fun to read about. Unfortunately, I couldn't pin down an exact concept, but it was fun to read nonetheless. It was pretty short, so it held my attention. It was also very cool in the end with "Rise together and not above." That was awesome!

Rhythm: Great rhythm. It was catchy and all around good. On suggestion though. In the second stanza, your last line kinda messed it up. May I suggest saying "A clipping on a sheet" instead of "statistic." The last two stanzas also tumbled a bit. If you could put those together and fit the rhythm of the poem, that would help exponentially.

Grammar. I found no grammar mistakes, and if I missed some, I apologize.

Overall: The concept was very cool but vague. The rhythm was fine, but it could use some work. Good grammar.

This gets my rating of 7/10. It would be wise to come back to this and polish it.

This has been NoirLumiere, and there's your review. Good night, and keep rocking.

amazing poem, it has a nice rhythm till the lines

'Rise together and not above.
sow the seeds of salvation.'

in this stanza the rhythm kind of got disturbed

overall it was a short and an amazing poem
you should write more of these you know and yeah the most amazing lines were

When beating hearts whisper,
fading in their own beat,
a life that is forsaken, is just
a statistic on a sheet.

I really liked your poem and will surely look forward for the others too, keep up your amazing work and hope my review help though I didn't write much...

The necessary beauty in life is in giving yourself to it completely, only later will it clarify itself and become coherent.
