I laugh and I cry
I love and I hate
I want and I give
I am like you
But why am I suffering?
Why am I still hurting?
I lie here bleeding
I cry and shriek
As the pain cuts through me
As the steady rhythm of my heart wavers
And I whimper in agony
I wander through the dark streets
Enveloped in the dull gray clouds of reality
I cannot dwell on hopes
I cannot see the light anymore
An eternal darkness
Is all I see in my past
And all I have left for the future
Pain, anguish and despair.

Pretty good. There were some general rhythm problems, but the rest of it was pretty good.
Hello there ruby. I am here for the review. You poem has a good flow which makes it sound good while reading it out but i do have some nitpicks. So lets get down to it right away.
You have a good sense for imagery and you should use it quite often. But i should say one thing that some lines are better when they are kept simple. Use of complex words does not always make a line appealing.
You should try focusing on the punctuation marks a bit more because they are the back bone of a poem and do not capitalize every first word of a line. Other than these your piece was good. Looking forward for more of your work.
Keep writing.
This is a really good poem. The flow of rhythm is really good and I loved the way you used the words. Keep it up.
july4ruby,
I really liked this poem! TThe rhythym flows really well, and the words work together quite nicely. The emotions are displayed very delicately and very strong - good combination!
Just a couple little nit-picks though....
I really liked your poem, it has so much potential!
Keep writing!
