The accidental magic 2- the second to last unicorn- chapter 5

 wee-oo weee- ooo!

The ambulance raced down the highway at top speed, going past red lights like they were invisible.

weeee- ooooo-weeeeee-ooooooo!

Charlotte gasped and stared out the window. She had figured out that last night, everything was just a nightmare... kind of. The thing was... In the dream Charlotte was not Charlotte... she was Ellie.

Ellie

Ellie stared at the girl glaring at her. "No way!" she said.

"Yes." said the girl. "Well, technically, I'm your evil twin. Ellie two-point-oh, but you are not calling me that. Anything else, really."

Ellie grinned maliciously. "I am sooooooooo calling you Baddie. This is so cool!"

"I regret telling you that."

Ellie smiled. "So, the unicorn, please?" Baddie glared at her.

"What unicorn? And what's with the ants, too?" Ellie glanced down at her Pringles can.

"These, are the awesome-est ants ever!!" she said. "And, the unicorn now?"

"What unicorn, I said? There is no unicorn."

Ellie gasped. "No there isn't! Unicorns are real! R-e-a-l, to spell it right! Not R-E-E-L, like the movie, even!!!!!" She shrieked. "This sucks!!!! So. Much."

Charlotte

(Cue some kind of slow music that's pretty sad or something.)

Charlotte was walking around, kind of in a trance leaving up missing people posters. She sighed in sadness and wished that her sister was with her then.

And, let's not forget she was hearing melodramatic music wherever she went.

Suddenly, another ambulance zoomed past and Charlotte looked up with surprise. She started following the ambulance, and, not knowing  where it was going, finally stopped. Paramedics raced out of the ambulance, and into a bank.

"What's going on?!" asked Charlotte hysterically.

"There's a bank robbery!" one paramedic cried. Charlotte gasped. but wait. she thought. I have magic. I can stop whoever's doing this.

"Who is causing this?" she asked, and the paramedic showed her a picture, and it was someone she knew, very well...

The robber was Missy.

So I have a few questions. Is Charlotte in the real world or the fantasy world? Was the fantasy world a dream in the first few chapters or was the only dream the voice saying ”say anything and you die” in the previous chapter? Maybe she heard an echo of what Baddie was saying to Ellie. I’m glad that Missy is back! :) Hopefully she has a good reason to be robbing a bank…

I wish you a good day/night.

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening/Night(whichever one it is in your part of the world),

Hi! I'm here to leave a quick review!!

First Impression: Oooh well, we get quite a few answers in this chapter to what had been slowly developing up to that point. And all of those answers have also been quite good and I'm loving that so far. I can't wait to see where these answers end up leading us in the next couple of chapters to come.

Anyway let's get right to it,

wee-oo weee- ooo!

Ooooh well here we go. We get some confirmation there about the potential nightmare situation except it seems there's a little bit of an extra detail on top of that which makes this situation much, much more intriguing there. Well, well. Let's see where this ends up taking us.

Okayyy well the fact that Ellie 2.0 here openly says she's the evil twin is a little bit concerning there although it does in fact look like Ellie herself isn't seeing the potential harm and mayhem this could cause and is currently okay with what is going on. Or at least she's too focused on figuring out what exactly is happening.

"What unicorn, I said? There is no unicorn."

Ellie gasped. "No there isn't! Unicorns are real! R-e-a-l, to spell it right! Not R-E-E-L, like the movie, even!!!!!" She shrieked. "This sucks!!!! So. Much."

Oh dear well that's a horrible revelation, especially given what we managed to learn earlier about quite how attached to unicorns Ellie happens to be. This isn't going to be good for poor Ellie.

Well that happened rather fast there. It looks like in addition to Ellie having those problems to deal with and that whole suspicious dream sequence Charlotte has yet more to try and deal with here. A bank robbery requiring an ambulance and paramedics sounds like things have gone quite bad there. And that last reveal definitely is quite concerning.

Aaaaand that's it for this one.

Overall: Overall I think another lovely addition to this tale. We've built on the previous couple of chapters really quite nicely and I can't wait to see how much further this will continue to unfold here. It looks like there's still a ways to go with both of the concerning situations developing here.

As always remember to take what you think was helpful and forget the rest.
