i sometimes have feelings
and i try to keep them in
always afraid of being judged
or mocked
or teased
or pestered
i constantly try not to screw up
and i try not to fall behind
because i fear being tormented
or nagged
or badgered
or insulted
i try to be normal
and i think i am
but i still fear
that i am
hated.

I feel like that all the time...
But i think it's normal, because it's probably the way that some people look at you and they tell you something and you feel like you have to change, just because a jealous person wants to be like you.
They tell you evil thing but they actually don't even look in the mirror.
You are not hated!
Nobody is perfect so they can't judge you.
Don't let them do that.
Great song which describes basically me.
This connects to me on a personal level, these are all things that I have felt and thought. I am very aware of what people thing of me, and I am afraid it's bad. The lines, "or mocked or teased or pestered" stick out to me the most. These are some of the things done to what strikes someone is different, than what they are used to. It makes them uncompfertable, and some try to make it into something more familiar, or simply more like themself, depending on how big the ego is. In a way, people like this are convinced that by ridiculing what's different, it will eiether be forced to change, or go away. And people with anxiety are targeted, because they are constantly unsure of themself, and this appears different to most others. Now it could also be that maybe you believe the person you are, will not be well liked by other people, so you choose to keep it hidden. Which is something I do as well, I don't think me being myself is a very safe thing to do, socially. In the end, I embarrass myself, because the real me has trouble fitting in, and expressing myself properally. Anyway, great poem! I found no problems.
hey, BiruKun this is a really relatable piece of work. All of us at some point in our lives go through these set of emotions. The feeling of anxiety is honestly crippling and devastating. It kind of forces us to live within ourselves, it limits our perception of the reality we live in and it restricts us as people. I always thought that anxiety turns us into a scared little animal. the poem is nice, descriptive and it hits the right note, but you have written something that's a matter of fact, or the tone used is the "obviously" tone, the things listed are obvious and overused, I am not questioning the authenticity of emotions in your poem, I am just saying that they are labelled in a certain way that makes it seem redundant and tiring. there are no layers to it no conflict, of course, the issue of anxiety is a conflict within itself, but the poem as a separate piece of art is not thought-provoking.
Anyways keep writing all the best.
Hi BiruKun! This is a highly relatable poem you've got here - I think a whole load of people can relate to trying to hide their feelings for fear of being judged somehow. I know I certainly can!
In terms of ways to improve this, I wonder if you might consider going a little deeper into how it feels to be so anxious. For example, what physical sensations go along with the feelings you've listed here? Or, you might consider using a bit of metaphor - what "colour" is the anxiety? Can you draw a connection between some scent or sound or image and the feeling? I think that adding these things into this poem would help to make the feeling more vivid for your readers. That would mean that people who don't experience this feeling already can get a better idea of what it feels like, and it would enhance the experience for those people who do already find it relatable.
Keep up the good work!

BiruKun.
This is a very deep and powerful poem, I really like it. The layout is very creative and I feel like it's very relatable. Well done and I can't wait to see more of your work.
Keep writing!

Hi there. I have one word to describe this poem: "WOW!"

In as few as seventeen lines, you successfully managed to convey deep emotions and thoughts that are caused by anxiety. I can relate to all of it as well, and I am sure other readers who are diagnosed with anxiety can too. You are a great poet. This poem is simple, and that's what makes it very amazing.
Keep writing!
I really enjoyed this poem. Even writing this in thirty minutes (not that thirty minutes is too short; I say this because I know that some poems take a really, really long time) I think it's pretty good. Though, I feel as though it's got plenty of room for improvement, just as everything in life has room for improvement. It just seems somewhat bland, considering it lacks metaphors or the like. I think it's an excellent way to vent but...I think it needs work.
Most of your poem is made of statements, rather than the whimsical metaphors that can be used in place of those. "I sometimes have feelings" is too general. What you could put to add some pizzazz could be, "There's a black slug that lives in my heart, slowly eating me up inside."
I just think you need to work on it more. Poetry is beautiful and whimsical, crafting language in very creative ways. If you keep writing poetry, you'll improve more and more, as an artist might have a change of style as they get further and further from their beginning days. I don't know how long you've been writing poetry, but I think you really have potential.
I hope my advice has helped a little. If not, I apologize. Have a good day.
