Through the Eyes of a Werewolf- Ch.4

Chapter 1

Chapter 3

Chapter 5

Two days later, I finished my drawing. In my picture, the moon's light shone brightly on my wolf's fur- It seemed to pop out of the drawing yet was faded into the darkness of the night. I was horrible at drawing when it came to anything else but wolves. Maybe it was because of my passion for them or that I drew them pretty often. My mom and dad were probably freaking out right now, to have come home to an empty house. It's been about... what, around a week now? I wasn't even sure any more. I tried my hardest to not think of them so I kept myself busy, I'd focus on everything except the thoughts of home. I would write, read, and even daydream about the forest when there was nothing else to do. I'd already finished the book I was reading and started on the second one even though I was half way through that. I'd gone to search for other books around the house but they were mostly ones that weren't in my range of taste. I decided that I would write a book and read it, criticize it, and edit it. In that way, I'd have something to actually do. The days seemed long and the guys were rarely home. I'd also met Riayn, pronounced Rh-aye-in. He was a little taller than me, like all of them were but was less muscular than the rest. I guess he was the weak link of them.

He did have a big sense of humor though. I hated all their guts but he was the type of person I couldn't hate, he was too much of a good-natured person. I was starting to feel at home even though while getting kidnapped, that was never supposed to happen. They never tried anything on me; more the less did they even touch me! They usually stayed away from me anyways, to give me space? Who knows...? It was mid-day and only Sage was at the house today. There was always at least one person home or outside. Maybe they were afraid of me running away... even there was basically no way without getting caught, dyeing, or injured. I walked around aimlessly and incredibly bored. My itch for the forest was almost causing me to go insane!

I finally got tired of walking around and sat down by a window. I eyed the bookcase across from me, it seemed filled with so many readable books yet none of them caught my attention... Mostly, they were old-time books from way back then about weird werewolves. Instinctively, I bounded over to the book case and picked up a diary-looking one. Flipping it open to the first page, a name in messy handwriting was scribbled there. It read, "Dansi Falcons." That's a pretty weird name, I thought. The old page crinkled as I flipped it and read the first entry that was dated back to the 1900's.

"I've been bitten," It started out.

"I can't believe it though. I'm a half breed mutant, how could this happen to me? Bless the lord that I say this but, I should rather die than be the fowl beast I am today. I'm hated by both races of kind, a mutt, a mixture of something not meant to be...

I could have dodged the beast's fangs but they sunk deep into my arm, the venom spread quickly through out my blood. No longer am I a nobleman who hunts werewolf but a mere mutt between the two. I was stupid to have drunk the blood of a werewolf before I went hunting, to not take the precautions that one may have tasted upon my blood while I have the substance still in my system... How stupid am I?"

The first entrance to the journal finished with that sentence. I wondered what it was; it was most likely just some joke of an entry anyway. I shrugged and took it back to my room where I stuffed it in my book bag. I've been debating whether or not to eat the snacks in my bag... They were pretty tempting when you've been making creations of unknown food to eat!

I turned around and decided not to when I heard the front door open and close. The familiar locking sound that I usually hear didn't meet my ears this time. It didn't register in my mind at first then my heart started to race. I flew over to my window and looked outside just in time to see Sage disappear into the forest. I grinned and my heart fluttered, this was my only chance to escape! I was about to turn when I saw... my wolf...

I froze and gulped, the blood in my face drained and I began to feel light-headed. He stood there at the edge of the forest, staring at me. I put my hand to the window- It looked like he was inviting me to come with him. I forgot to breathe when he took a step forward and began to gasp for air. Not once did I take my eyes off of him. I looked longingly at him, his fierce emerald green eyes bore into me. Oddly, I wasn't afraid... Then again, maybe it was because I was in the second story of a house...

His muscles rippled every time he took a step. He looked big from farther away but as close as this... he was huge! I could only imagine how big he was up-close... This wolf was a breath-taking GIANT.

At last, our spell was broken when he looked over his shoulder and ran back into the woods. I almost cried when his presence left me. It felt like a part of me that I didn't know was gone suddenly connected with me again and was ripped away... How would I know I'd ever see that magnificent wolf again? A tear rolled down my cheek and I stupidly stared out of my window. Yeah, I know, pretty dumb to cry over a wolf that only looked at you for about a second? Looks like I’d officially gone crazy!

But I couldn't keep him out of my head... That pure black coat and piercing green eyes... I really had to find him... even if I was kidnapped at the moment...

I thought you could have reworded this part to something like "The blood drained from my face, and I began to feel light-headed." or something like that.!

I thought everything was kinda jumbled into giant paragraphs. I suggest spreading this out. I would also ellaborate on emotions and details. Really put yourself into the character's shoes and make the reader feel as if they were actually there in the story.

Also, in every chapter you should have an opening sentence that makes the reader want to keep reading. I suggest making the opening sentence a bit more gripping, so you can keep the reader's attention.

Nice chapter, keep writing!!
