Want

In Poetry

I want to hear your silence,
I want to feel your fire.
I want to slip into your oblivion,
I want to fuel your desire.

I want to see your darkness,
I want to taste your tongue.
I want to read the pages of your heart,
I want to scream with your lungs.

This was incredible, this is amazing. Very Good.
I have some advice for you however.

1) When a poem is this short and good, it leaves the audience disapointed at the end and generally irritated. A writer tries to capture his audience in the beginning of a poem and keep the audience's attention, you were able to capture us but did nothing after you captured us, you just let us go, make your poems a little but more lengthy (but not too long).

2)This one is a compliment: I commend you on the way you were able to use different literary devices in this poem and still keep the general theme. Take for example the part where you rhymed:

I want to hear your silence,
I want to feel your fire.
I want to slip into your oblivion,
I want to fuel your desire.

You rhymed and you were still able to keep the path in which the poem is going that is a first hand accomplishment for any writer! I know rhyming is simple, but rhyming and keeping the theme is very difficult, since you might lose you audience at instances like that!

3) My Personal Opinion: I think you should make this a series........ just because of it's greatness.
I think you can teach me somethings, PM me if you need any help or want to give me some advice, I really can learn somethings from you!

Thank you very much. I'll read some of your works sooner or later. I barely get on this site as it is, unfortunately.

I write because I don't know what I think until I read what I say.
