Hey, there. My name is Scarlett and I'll be reviewing your poem tonight.
This is short, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but for this, it definitely is. For a start, I don't really get this. There's no real flow, no imagery, no metaphors. And that is what makes a poem a poem. This, to me, just seems like four lines of random thought written down, and I'm sad to say that I can't even call this a poem. And neither can I give you a proper review.
So, i'm just going to say you should expand on this. Give me more. I want to know why you're feeling this, how you came to feel this. This...is just four random lines. And I can't really take anything from this. I'm sorry if I sound harsh, but you've given me a big question and no answers. I want more, and I know I've said that, but seriously, you have given me almost nothing. In fact, this feels incomplete, and that kind of bugs me. So, I'm sorry if I sound mean or anything. I really don't mean to. I'm just trying to help.
And, so, my friend. You have interesting snippet of poetry here. And I just have to say thank you for it, despite me wanting more. I do like it, though, but I can't really love it. Not yet. So I can really only say one thing here; expand on it, give me more to this story, and let me know. I'll come back to give it a proper review.
Hope this helped! And don't forget; Keep it up and never stop writing!
~Scar.
Look, it doesn't have to be long. These things aren't for an audience, they're for me. If you don't like it, stop reading my stuff.
