Checkmate

If life is a game
Like chess on a board
Then shame's your play
So sharpen your sword

Black and white
Squares lined in  a row
Shadow and light
Shall always remain foes

Cornered and caught
Surronded with no way out
Though they fought
With loss they now shout

Goodbye, my old friend
Your time's gone now
Sorry to say it's the end
But your pawns weren't enough

So checkmate
I've won
Don't be mad
'Cause this game's done
