HERE WE GO AGAIN
Here we go again
With our failures in my head
Walking down this lonely road
Let’s just take a minute
And talk it out ‘cause I want you to know
Chorus:
I’m telling you now I’m alright
Realized I’m better off without you
I won’t cry, I’m not sad
Here we go again
The disconnect is always the worst
You cling to me too hard
I never make a clean break till now
Let’s talk it out ‘cause I want you to know
Chorus:
I’m telling you now I’m alright
Realized I’m better off without you
I won’t cry, I’m not sad
Here we go again
With our failures in my head
Walking down this lonely road
Let’s just take a minute
Let’s just take a minute
I’m better off without you
Let’s just take a minute
I’m better off without you
Here we go again
Let’s just take a minute
I’m better off without you
Let’s just take a minute
You’re better off without me

Hey!

I absolutely loved this. I can always tell when I really like lyrics is when I wish I could hear the music played with them!
Love and all that jazz.
Herzing
p.s. I loved the twist at the end
Critiquing lyrics is hard! I don't find this particularly original. It is relatable, which is what I look for in a song, but I think you could say what you mean in a more original way. I like the way you switch from "I'm better off without you" to "you're better off without me" at the end, it's a nice way to finish it off.
