I should have known
all along.
I should have known
that I was wrong.
Please forgive me,
for my sins;
but please don't ask me
where I've been.
As I read
his final words,
I realized,
it was absurd!
I know that she
will never forgive,
me for my sins;
with which I live.
His voice, destroyed.
His words, missing.
Her heart, broken.
It's all on me.

Hello, E.E here for a possibly quick review and maybe some utter nonsense! Grim is here as well, drinking hot cocoa and being a slacker. *Grim looks over, glaring* So, lets get started.
This is gonna be really quick but um, I like the poem and I did not notice any grammar or spelling mistakes. Good job on that!
Now is when I dissect your poem and see if I can't get its meaning right! So, in your poem you are telling us, the reader, that that you had lied or betrayed a person you loved. You can't fix that now and you wish you could but you can't. Everything that is wrong now is because of you and you can't fix that and you wish so badly that you could.
Overall, I liked the poem and keep up the good work! Happy Halloween! I really need to go now Grim has souls to reap and he needs more cocoa. He has a problem, seriously. Cheerio and fruit loops to you!
Hello Adrian here for a real quick review
now i really did enjoy this poem as a quick read however i'm not entirely sure that i know what it means.
there were no grammatical or spelling problems so great job!
now i'm going to be a negative Nancy and get what i do not like about this poem out of the way
"I realized,
it was absurd!"
i do not think that the exclamation mark was necessary.
also, personally, your rhyme scheme just didn't do it for me. I don't know what it was but it just didn't if that makes sense
NOW WHAT I DID ENJOY
i really enjoyed the repetition in these lines
"I should have known
all along.
I should have known
that I was wrong"
the repetition was very nice
overall, again, i did enjoy it but didn't understand it.
i look forward to seeing more from you
happy halloween!!!
>Adrian
This was a really good poem and I really think that you could do a lot with what you are doing right now.
First I would like to say that you are so right when you say that you were wrong and that you needed to be forgiven and I forgive you for what ever you did.
Second I would say that this was really going to what my life is right now ans I really hope that in the future and I hop that one day when I come back I will write more reviews for you.
Last thing I would like to say is right here
"'where I've been.
As I read
his final words,
I realized,
it was absurd!
I know that she
will never forgive,
me for my sins;
with which I live."' This is where I got into the story and just wanted to keep reading more and more.
Thanks for writing this poem and I hope in the future I will be writing more reviews for you.
Thank you! It is based off of a musical.
It's late so I can't write a full review- but as your fellow Hamilton Fan Club member I have full appreciation for this poem and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
So yeah!
It's weird for me to read it cuz I know what it's based off of and I can hear the song lyrics in my head as I read- but It's not a bad thing. I actually like it!
Anyways- good job!!!!!!!!
Loved it.
XXX,
sapphireluna
P.S. Sorry about spelling or grammer errors cuz It's super late
Thanks!
