Sweet Bonnie

In Really, Really Old Work

Once in a world of only wishes
Came hope walking, smiling holding
In the tender tears of the loved lost
Littles, and the pain of days
Became lost in the love of
Sweet Bonnie.
Only a listening, smiler
Hope-holder until the
Littles were able to carry the
Dreams of the wishing world.
Sweet Bonnie,
Headrest, heart-healer,
Hurt-holder, friend.
Tear kisser, teaser, talker.
Sweet Bonnie.
Friend.

This is a really moving poem, my Gran had a dog called Bonnie so it is a subject close to my heart.
Liked the repetition.

This is a really good poem! :) I liked it a lot! I got your point really well. Great job on not overdoing punctuation and words. :D
