Distant Glory

Raising a sword of pride, a shout of victory,
A slash upon the sky and morning rises.

My dream, just a mere visualization,
Only to disappear at the strike of dawn.
Made reality by a wishing heart,
Floating by in an ethereal song.

I dash upon mountains facing the day,
Where proud, golden eagles roam and play.

Here I stand, before the strike of dawn,
Casting away the fears before me.
Catching drops of hope as they fall
Into eyes of a determined winner.

Bringing down the sword of pride, a cry of victory,
Cutting away a tearful night and morning now sings.

A destiny, a visualization of my endless mind,
A fate full of utmost life, under a visible sign.
Gliding lightly across the sky like a shooting star,
Leading me to find you, wherever you are.

I climb up the toughest mountains, facing the day.
Finally reaching the peak where eagles roamed and played.

A drop of hope and life,
Under a rising sun, preserving a new time.
It's reflected in your eyes.

i enjoyed reading this.
