Always Will.

In Monotony.

I'll avoid awkward moments
and try to make you smile.

Your eyes light up with laughter
but all I hear is quiet.

I've spent a few days, watching the sky fall down.
I've seen the new ways I can kill the sound.

Will somebody send me a letter from tomorrow?
The past gets so lonely.
All wrapped up in past-pretences, memories of jumping fences.
We had it always.

We had it, we had it.

The town's soft sweet sleep disturbed
by the kids growing up with me.
Anyways we still get along.
Ignoring each other's sick sad songs.

Years running away from me,
Where's yesterday? Where's yesterday?

Will somebody send me a letter from tomorrow?
The past gets so lonely.
All wrapped up in past-pretences, memories of jumping fences.
We had it always.

We had it, I've had it!

Done.

I really liked this because it was simple and you understand the emotion coming from it. The begining was my favorite. the only thing i didn't get was the "done" at the end of it. oh well. otherwise i really enjoyed reading it.

It's not much on the rhyming side but I could hear it in a heavier suit, the first four lines didn't flow in my head that well but maybe that's just me. Very cool lines toward the end

Wow i really like this because its not cliche as most lyrics are, and i like the emotion... Good job :D
