Spoiler! :
Because implicitly, Kylan loves e. e. cummings. Sorry about those annoying dashes, but it was the only way the format didn't get all messed up.

I really like the definitely down the right hand side -- I think with a more coherent left-hand side that would be pretty cool. Otherwise, I have absolutely no clue what you're going on about, but I'm glad Kylan does.

Also ee cummings is a hero.

I understood dead tree at dusk, double negatives, two granny smiths, seventy cent
It was interesting...

Well, I read most of this fairly well...without understanding it. You, Kylan, and your little inside jokes. =P
Still, nice work.

P.S. Did you tell Kylan about the twin thing?

You made my head officially hurt, but I think I could read most of it, I think.....

YES. HE WAS.

Anyway, you copied the weird ee cummings. :P So you had the two messages and the weird consumerism and yeah... it's pretty hard to read. :P I like the other, more readable cummings better. ;)

Also: definitely.

Right... okay. *Cough*

I could make out the beginning where it said, Dead tree at dusk... but that's about it. WOOP. Unless it doesn't even say that and I'm a freak. Basically... wtf?

Oh, and I have a question.

Heh.

I don't think I can critique this, but it was a fun copycat of an ee cummings poem. I love all the little inside jokes you had strewn around here. The interrobang, the percent sign, open parentheses, the mentioning of parentheses themselves, the granny smith apples, the consumerism, the definitely, etc. It was really cleverly put together. I don't see anyone else on YWS necessarily getting it, though :P

Of course, I hate ee cummings. At least, most of ee cummings. Some ee cummings is good. But if this was ee cummings who'd written this, I would ask him, "so, what's with the semicolon after the d in the first line?" He, of course, would have no answer for me, because that semi-colon was completely arbitrary. Why split up with word "Smith"? Why not? :P See what I mean?

This is my beef with ee cummings.

Otherwise, awesome poem, Dems. Really captures our get-together!

I was like, "Wah...?"
Is it a picture? I can't get it. :P
