Silence is the Voice of Thinkers

Many people think voice is spoken

voice can be displayed through action, text, or art

But silence is the voice of thinkers

Wherever you are, you have a voice

There is one voice people take for granted,

Silence is the voice of thinkers

That person stands out. Why?

Because silence is the voice of thinkers

Set out in front for all to see but most times overlooked

Imagination, creativity, fantasy, logic-

Thinker's voices are all different varying pitch and tone

Writing, arts, crafts, music-

Minds of thinkers are filled to the brim

If a voice is a stream, a thinker's is an immense dam

Waiting to be released like a pen on paper,

A brush on canvas,

A voice to the stale air.

Never forget to stop and have your own voice.

Why?

Because silence is the voice of thinkers

Hello there. I got to this poem from another one of yours. I was impressed by the title, and it didn't let me down.

First all good— I really loved the concept. You are so true and as truly you have conveyed your message. Silence, really is a voice of thinkers, and most of the poets are thinkers. So I believe you touched the very essence of poets. I also loved the way you used the word 'why'. Now what was missing—some punctuations and I sometimes felt that the lines could have better arracnged, but otherwise Really Wonderful Poem.

omg, yesssssss. This speaks for literally everyone who doesn't say a single thing (like me) but on the inside has a world of ideas and creativity. This piece here you just wrote is a voice for those who sit silently with a lot on there mind, but don't express it what so ever. I see this as an art, you splattered words onto a paper and made art with it. I applaud my friend.

continue to be an outlet for those silent thinkers.

Those were pretty strong words. Silence is a man's greatest virtue. It speaks for itself. I am a a quiet person. So, I guess I could relate to your words well. I was unsure if I'd call it "poetry" but it's inconsequential because the stuff that you wrote here was damn good. Looking forward to more of your work.

Hey.

This is a great poem and I can also relate to it. As well as @acm, I agree that's the only typo i see. This one also reminds me of how I'm quite with everyone except my family and close friends. I mostly focus on writing things and listening to music; so that's another thing i can relate to.

Keep on writing poems like these or of something else.

Hi Darkprism, acm here for a review!
Wow. That was great. It had such a good message, and I liked how you used repetition to keep the flow steady. I found myself really relating to this work. I'm a quiet person, only really becoming outgoing and social with my close friends, so I could understand how silence can really make an impact. I once read a quote, I don't know who by, but it said, 'Silence is the most powerful scream.'

Anyways, I only found one typo.

If a voice is a stream, a thinkers is an immense dam

Here, this would be 'thinker's' with an apostrophe, because they are the thoughts of the thinker.

Other than that, this poem was absolutely perfect. I can't wait to read more of your work!

Noelle, you can lead a writer to their computer and give them coffee, but you can't make them write.
