Salutations. Would ye who has stumbled upon this thread wish for thy piece to hath a review?

What I Will Review: Anything, really. Novel chapters, short stories, poems; fantasy, science fiction, realistic fiction, non-fiction. First person, second person, third person; past tense, present tense, future tense (...maybe not). Anything at all!

How I Review: It depends on the piece. If I consider something flawed about the character, setting, or plot, I will talk about that. Generally, I'll spend a lot of the review on sentence-level things such as writing style and grammar. Poems will probably be shorter, and I'll talk about word choice, meaning, sound, etc. Note: If you specify in the request that you would specifically like some aspect of the piece to be reviewed, I'll focus on that. Also note that, unless specifically asked not to, I will review as if the piece was going to be published and correct grammar and typos and such.

Some examples, perhaps?

Short Stories:

work.php?id=99803
work.php?id=99844

Novel Chapters:

One focused mostly on sentence-level things: work.php?id=99599

A more general one: work.php?id=99752

A review that talks about character and such:work.php?id=99425

Poems:

A stanza-by-stanza review: work.php?id=99971

A more general one about word choice and such: work.php?id=99802

Note: All review requests will be completed within two to three days of being posted here. (Probably.)
So, would anyone like a review?

Yes, please. :D
This story's been a permanent idea of mine for a while now, and I'm already assured I'll be making it one way or another. All I really have to work on is how I portray it, so people know what I'm trying to convey.

Anyways, I'm well aware that grammatical error is unavoidable in my work. Could you make a critique focusing more on the plot and character development, etc though? I'm looking forward to what you think of my story. Chapter 2's not yet finished. Anyways, thanks!

The most important thing is to preserve the world we live in. Unless people understand and learn about our world, habitats, and animals, they won't understand that if we don't protect those habitats, we'll eventually destroy ourselves.
