When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come along with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in spirit and troubled. “Where have you laid him?” he asked.
“Come and see, Lord,” they replied.
Jesus wept. Then the Jews said, “See how he loved him!”
John 11:33-36
i open my heart
you sit and cry with me because you know how to weep and when to mourn
you do not force a smile i know you’ll sit here with me if it takes a while
you are a patient man i can trust you with my heart it’s safe in your hands
i open my heart and i let you in i come to rest with my very best friend
you sit and hold me close you have never been far you have stayed the most
can any other man carry the griefs of the world in his whole life’s span
and yet you never leave you come closer than a brother and you comfort me
i open my heart and i let you in i want to rest with my very best friend
i open my heart and i let you in i come to rest with my very best friend
