I’m on the final stretch for school. If I can survive these last months of the year, then I can graduate, take the board exam, and start a big girl job. I’m really looking forward to the freedom and being able to do all the things I’d like to do once that happens.

The way that talking to my dad about how a good number of people have asked me what my dream car is (answer: I don’t have one) got me looking at DIY vintage/retro car replica kits as if I’m planning to buy one despite the fact that I know little about the inner workings of cars and basically nothing about old cars 😅 that’s my level of rabbit hole sometimes

Lael Thank you!! It’s always busy and has its fair share of stress, but I think I see more of how it will be worth it in the end, and I’m feeling more excited thinking about getting closer to graduation. I just started a new semester, so that’s gearing up to be a big load and wild ride but I’m going to do my best.

Kaia You are doing wonderfully! Nursing school is A LOT!! And I certainly feel that about looking forward to graduation. I graduate in 3 months (hence my avatar hehe) but I feel very anxious about what happens after school is over. It makes me so glad to hear that you are building friendships and working through it. It's tough to do what you are doing. But God is right there beside you, friendo. And if it is His will that you get through, you will get through and become a FABULOUS nurse!! I hope that gives you a little more encouragement. I know things can get tough sometimes <3

I hope everyone is doing well! I’m working hard right now, learning so many new things that I can’t believe it sometimes. I’ve made a good group of friends to go through this year with, and I have seen how good God has been to me over and over, even through times that seem so hard. I miss writing freely, but I have lots of ideas I am excited to explore in the future.

Lael Hey there! I'm doing all right. I graduated from college over a year ago and now I'm in nursing school. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sleep deprived from all the schoolwork I have to do, and no time to write my stories (or do much of anything, lol), but I'm very excited to be able to pick it back up when I can.

Sometimes I just look up from the thick, foggy cloud that I’m walking through and I think that I’m still surviving, and I’ve come much farther that I could imagine in just a moment. It serves as a bit of hope that though what’s ahead of me seems insurmountable and unending right now, I’m gonna make it through this because I’ve already climbed so high on the mountain of my journey. I affirm to myself that God’s got my back in all of this. And then I’ve gotta keep moving -.-

Lael For sure! Daily emotional rollercoasters and sleep deprivation and all. He shows me His grace over and over and has been teaching me where my true worth lies (not in grades or achievement but in Him, by the blood of Jesus). I’ve been trying to remind myself that all things that I do should be for God’s glory.

Other than that, I’m applying for jobs and I think I have a very good chance at the position I want. I give God all the glory for everything He’s done for me this year.
